(Eleanor pov)

I continued making dinner as I felt Damion’s eyes on me at all times..man did he make it hard to get anything done around here.

I was pleasantly surprised when he said he wasn’t eating with the Elders. I got the feeling he didn’t like a single one of them and was just putting up with them for the time being.

I quickly drained the boiled pasta and added it to the marinara that was simmering in the pan. Suddenly I felt my mate’s arms wrapping around my waist as I smiled to myself happily.

“Darling, it smells delicious.” He complimented me while peering down at the pan.

“Thanks, this was one of the first dishes Helen taught me to make back in B***d Moon.” I added the pasta to the sauce and let it finish cooking before grabbing two bowls for us while having Damion in tow.

“I wanted to ask something..” I said casually, glancing over at Damion as he looked at me curiously with the cutest look on his face.

“I was wondering if I could change who my personal helper is. Piper and I just don’t have much in common and I was thinking maybe Dani could take her place instead..if I still need someone that is.” I looked over at him and he nodded his head, kissing my cheek as he pulled me tighter against his solid body.

“Honestly I was surprised Jane chose Piper to be the one to assist you, they don’t necessarily get along. You are my future queen and I want you to choose who you feel most comfortable with, Darling. Whoever you think fits the job better, I will support your decision” He stated, making me feel so much more relieved. I just get such a bad vibe from Piper..I don’t know what it is.

‘Maybe because she is stuck up and nosey..’

Kari grumbled, she really disliked Piper even more than I did.

“Thank you, I will let her know tomorrow then.” I smiled while dishing out our food. Dani is going to be thrilled! I quickly sprinkled some cheese on top and grabbed the two bowls with Damion still holding onto my waist.

“Ready to eat?” I asked with humor lacing my voice.

“Always.” He quipped, nibbling on my neck, causing me to giggle.

“That’s not what I meant.” I chastised him as he walked us back to the table.

During dinner, I sat in Damion’s lap once again, per his request and he even fed me most of my meal. I never imagined being this close with someone let alone Damion and seeing this side of him, he is actually a lot more affectionate than I thought. Which is a very pleasant surprise.

After we ate dinner we decided to watch a movie on the couch, which didn’t last long because Damion suddenly remembered that we hadn’t christened the couch yet which he made sure to do promptly..twice. I was wiped out and soon realized we had missed the entire movie and I could barely keep my eyes open so he carried me to bed.

Snuggling into my mate’s chest, he wrapped his strong arms around me, protecting and warming me. This was my favorite place to be…wrapped in his arms.

Lately, I have been thinking about what nickname to give Damion..he always calls me Darling, which I love immensely, it literally makes my stomach flip every time he says it..so I have been weighing my options..

‘What about honey?’

I asked Kari and she shook her head no.

‘He doesn’t seem like a honey to me..’

She retorted, sitting casually in my mind as we talked back and forth.

‘Oh I’ve got a good one, Daddy Damion.’

She teased, making me almost choke from her idea as she laughed her a*s off.

‘Oh dear goddess please never say that out loud..I have a feeling he would love it.’

She managed to say between her laughter, finally calming down after a few minutes.

‘What about the classic babe? We could try it out..see how he reacts.’

I tossed the idea out there and I was almost certain she would shoot it down, so I was surprised when she agreed.

‘Okay, let’s see how he reacts. But if you mention one thing about daddy I will never talk to you again.’

She threatened and I almost burst with laughter.

Damion was stroking my hair gently as we lay together in comfortable silence. Okay..here goes nothing..

“What are you thinking about babe?” I whispered, causing him to do a double take as he glanced down at me. His mouth opened and closed a few times as my nerves began to rise.

“Uh, I um was just thinking about tomorrow. I have to meet with the Elders again for breakfast.” He cleared his throat, trying to compose himself as I studied his face intently. Was my mate blushing?! Did I actually make him embarrassed!?

“What happened BABE, why are your cheeks red?” I enunciated the word babe as I struggled to hide the smirk that was threatening to reveal itself.

“No-nothing, just a little warm.” He tried to control himself, looking away quickly as I couldn’t help but tease him.

“Here babe, let me cool down.” I quickly sat up, fanning my hands toward his face as he tried to hide from me.

“Stop it! I know what you are doing!” He quickly tackled me onto the bed, his hands squeezing my sides as laughter exploded from my mouth.

“Did..that..make..you..shy..babe..” I gasped through tickles, hearing a low growl vibrating from his chest as he bent down and took my lower l*p between his teeth.

“Let’s just say it was unexpected Darling.” He growled and then bit down on my l*p, causing me to yelp.

“Do you like when I call you that?” I breathed, his hands now gripping my wrists and holding them above my head.

“Very much so.” He admitted, grinding his hard c**k against me as I let out a sharp gasp.

“Good, then that’s what I will call you babe. Kari was pushing for Daddy Damion, but I told her that was too much.” His eyes snapped open and Kari growled at me, shocked that I told him the name she jokingly came up with. I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically as Damion began choking on air.

“Oh goddess..what the hell am I going to do with you?” He gritted through his teeth, taking full advantage of the situation as he showed me exactly what he would do with me..over and over again. Let’s just say I learned my lesson and will never call him Daddy Damion again..well..not unless he begs me to. Which I have a feeling he just might..
