Determined to be happy for even a brief moment, Deisy made her way to the house where the human was staying. After saying goodbye to Ria and asking her not to follow her, she set out to follow her heart.

It was wrong, it was right, she didn’t know… but she wanted so badly to be with this man, wolf or no wolf. If everyone could make their own lives, why couldn’t she?

The albino reached the entrance of the half-built house and before she could set foot on the first step of the stairs, he came out of the residence with that look that told her everything.

-You’ve come at last, I’ve been waiting for you, Deisy.

-Why did you think I would come?

-Because of what I’ve told you, I know you feel the same way I feel about you.

-What if you’re wrong?

He walks towards her and takes her by the hand to pull her into the house.

-I’m not! -she says with conviction. You came here, didn’t you, because you feel the need to be with me, you’re attracted to me, and right now you want me to make love to you like I did last night.

Deisy swallows, but tries to resist even though she’s gone to this place to see him.

-Your arrogance will one day be the death of you.

-I won’t complain if you’re the one who takes my life.

And those words were the trigger for both of them to bring their lips together at the same time and end up kissing.

He wasted no time in tearing the dressing gown she was wearing to expose her nakedness, immediately grabbing one breast with one hand while the other took her by the waist to bring her up.

Deisy let herself be kissed, caressed and enjoyed it. And her desire was growing as she felt her heat was about to explode, the only thing she was afraid of was hurting this human with her wild momentum.

Ethan and Eren ran all night to catch up with Lucian, his scent growing more and more present on the road, indicating that he was close. They picked up their pace until they finally reached a fairly steep hill.

They climbed it without a second thought, and when they reached the top they found a small hut hidden in the undergrowth and snow. It was a combination of roots and snow.

-Is this your house?

“Yes.”

Ethan’s heart pounded frantically. He knew his wife lay in that shack waiting for him. But he still had no way to pay the price for her health.

-Lucian must be hiding,” Eren mumbled, looking around.

-Just like the witch,” his friend added, looking around the hut.

But he didn’t hide for long, because out of nowhere a huge albino wolf jumped on Eren. Both wolves rolled down the hill, and as they went down in the worst way they were biting every part of their bodies.

Ethan started to go down seeing that Lucian was going all out this time, Eren was getting hurt more than he already was. At one point, Lucian bit the wolf’s side causing the alpha king to cry out in pain.

However, he fought back.

The blue-mooned alpha leapt off a ridge and landed on top of Lucian’s body. There was no denying it, but that wolf was bigger than any other, you could tell his bloodline was ancient.

Ethan bit the back of the wolf’s neck to get it to release Eren, who was underneath it. And it worked; when he released him, Eren looked for a way to attack Lucian… but Lucian managed to get Ethan off his back.

Both alphas stood together growling at Lucian.

-It seems my wolves have not done their job well.

-Those puny wolves weren’t going to take us out.

-But they were going to seriously hurt them,” he says, savouring his muzzle. Right you were, alpha king.

Eren’s side was bleeding profusely, the bite he received making his situation worse.

-A wound like this won’t stop me, it ends tonight.

-It doesn’t end,” both wolves hear him laughing in their minds.

-What’s your interest in getting to this witch?

-Oh, Ethan is curious, why is that? Is it because your wife is in there?

The alpha doesn’t answer.

-When I’m done with both of them, I’ll take care of that pesky human myself.

Ethan growls, his back bristles and out of nowhere the wolf begins to grow in power. Eren does the same, it was the moment of truth, they wouldn’t let him escape like the other times.

-Two alphas of powerful dynasties, how curious, what do you think witch? I know you’re there, watching everything. But believe me, I’ve come for you, you traitorous bitch; I’ll rip out your heart and eat it all.

Nothing could be heard, only the wind and the sound of the trees moving. The falling snow was getting thicker and thicker, the fur of the three wolves was already almost covered by it.

In that moment of silence Ethan started to walk straight towards Lucian, Eren followed him and both wolves met the huge albino. They attacked at the same time, one biting his neck and the other his back.

But Lucian had more for them, he grabbed Ethan’s hind leg to drag him away. Eren let go of his back, and focused on the back of his neck, biting so hard that Lucian protested, but still managed to shake him off.

He attacked the alphas himself without fear, he was a tough wolf. First he grabbed Ethan by the neck and threw him against a rock, grabbed Eren by the muzzle and went into a tree.

The albino wolf, all bloody, walked determinedly to the hut, his fur dripping with b***d. But before he could get any closer to the entrance, Ethan climbed on him again and this time bit his head and part of his eye.

The growls and tantrums echoing off the mountain, the wolves were fighting fiercely almost at the entrance to the hut.

-I will not allow you to enter.

-I will murder you as I did my wretched son.

Lucian began to spin around until he crashed his body against the wall of the hut, the alpha fell to the other side and immediately got to his feet. Next, it was Eren who leapt at Lucian, hooking himself in the crook of his neck.

-The two of them are a nuisance.

Those wolves were taking too much time away from Lucian, who needed to find the witch. With her power, she would slay the nuisance in seconds.

Ethan attacked again and they both managed to take down the albino wolf.

-Do you still want to know why I have made such a long journey and also why I have disappeared for so many moons?

-Speak up, your time is running out.

-His name,” he whispers in both their minds, keeping the conversation secret. You have to know his real name.

-His name?! -Both wolves mutter. Whose name?

-The witch’s, I bet she hasn’t mentioned her name to you.

It was true, since he saw her for the first time he never knew her name. And he didn’t mind her calling her a witch either.

-It is her most powerful secret, knowing her name gives the advantage in battle.

Ethan squeezed his throat tightly, while Eren stood over him.

-Say it at once,” the wolf snarls.

-Until you’ve finally done it Ethan, now finish your work and your wife will be freed and free of disease.

The wolf looks up slightly, but without letting go of Lucian. It was the witch who was in front of them smiling maliciously, the wretch was watching everything.

-Kill him at once,” she insists impatiently.

If she was anxious for him to kill Lucian it meant she was hiding something.

-If you call her name you will have the power to kill her, if you let me go, I will kill her for you, and your moon will be free.

-Ethan, don’t be fooled. It could all be a trap of this wretch. Finish him,” Eren orders.

The wolf was thinking about it, he was between a rock and a hard place. And if the witch didn’t keep her part of the bargain and if they were lying… he would lose anyway.

But in the midst of his thoughts Ethan let his guard down for just a moment and Lucian managed to free himself from her grip.

-That’s what I was looking for, for you to come out of hiding, you damned witch,” the woman saw those sharp fangs approaching her and immediately caused a gust of air to blow at Lucian.

-Insolent,” she mutters, only for him to start rolling around in the snow in pain. No one messes with me, you bloody wolf.

-He stutters, and she causes the pain to grow more intense.

Ethan notes that she was killing him, and if she kept it up, she wouldn’t give him his wife back. Driven by desperation and in the midst of the witch’s carelessness, Ethan attacks her, throwing his body over hers, he manages to knock her down and with that the magic she was exerting on Lucian is smashed.

-Damn witch,” the albino mumbles, getting to his feet.

-How dare you touch me,” she shouts at Ethan, pushing him into the wind against a tree. How dare you touch me? -she rages as her eyes darken even more.

At that, Lucian lunges at her, but the witch had her cards up her sleeve. She was strong, and could tolerate the wolf’s weight on her, including his massive jaw near her face.

-I’ll rip your damn heart out,” I realized belatedly, “I realized that’s what I needed to become the wolf I desire. I got tired of eating the hearts of my descendants, the only thing I get out of it is to keep myself alone and leave no one in my bloodline alive. Damn you, you have deceived me for so many years.

-You’re an idiot, how come you never realised that,” she smirks, showing her black teeth. It gave me so much satisfaction to see your son murder that poor albino wolf you got pregnant, what was her name? Ah, yes, Sofia!
