Hearing Charles mention Charlie, Evelyn's body instantly stiffened.

"Evelyn, stop acting crazy." Charles noted Evelyn's silence and warned her with a heavy voice.

Evelyn knew that Charles was warning her not to say Charlie was dead every time he mentioned her.

The color in Evelyn's eyes darkened slightly. She had never intended to bring it up in front of Charles. She was just worried about Rosa.

Rosa adored Charlie so much before she fell into a coma, and now that she had finally woken up, could she take it knowing that Charlie was dead? Evelyn didn't dare take that risk.

Her lips moved, about to say something, but at that moment, an elderly voice came from the staircase

It was Rosa.
