The Darling Of The Alpha -
Chapter 7
Xander Cohen
When I go through the doors of the house with my moon in my arm, the first one who sees me arrive is my nanny, who lets out a gasp when she sees the little girl I’m carrying.
—Whose girl is that? —She asks, looking at me and then looking at the little girl who is still asleep. “She’s- she’s human,” she adds, sniffing and looking at me confused, she smiled happily.
—She is my little moon, nana. —I respond with a smile to which her eyes widen in surprise at my words.
—By the goddess! “She,” she exclaims while a smile forms from ear to ear on her face. “She is beautiful my child, I hope the goddess always protects her,” she adds.
—What is the scandal Nana? “I’m trying to study,” Mimy asks, walking down the stairs and opening her eyes wide when she sees the girl in my arms. “Don’t f**k around, Xander!” Don’t tell me I’m an aunt?! —He screams to which I grimace because of the pain it causes me.
I let out a growl as my moon stirs.
“Shut up because you’ll wake her up,” I scold as she looks at me waiting for an answer. “And you’re not an aunt, this little girl is my moon,” I add, rolling my eyes at her drama.
—Now you’re a pedophile! She is a girl! —Scream, I growl again and look at my little girl who is still asleep.
“I think she’s a heavy sleeper,” Bruno murmurs.
“If she doesn’t tell me, I won’t notice,” I reply sarcastically to which he grunts and closes the link.
“F**k Mimy, stop yelling so much,” I say exasperated. “Surely the entire mansion has just found out that this girl is my mate with your gri…” I am interrupted by the gasp they let out behind me, I turn around and see my mother covering her mouth with one hand and He quickly approaches to look at the little girl in my arms, I almost stepped aside to avoid him, but I had to restrain myself.
“My God, she’s beautiful,” she whispers, brushing some blonde locks from my little girl’s face. I sigh, trying not to growl at her for touching my moon.
“Yes mother… the goddess has blessed me with a beautiful mate,” I murmur, gawking at the face of my moon.
“It’s better that you take her to your room and heal those wounds so they don’t get infected,” he comments to which I nod and turn to go to my room under the watchful eyes of my mother, Mimy and my nanny who tells me:
“I’ll prepare something for you to eat,” I respond with a yes and go up to my room.
When I’m in my room I leave my moon on the bed to go straight to my closet where she grabs a pair of boxers and sweatpants. Then I go into the bathroom but not before taking a look at my moon which is still sleeping.
I took a quick shower and put on my clothes in the bathroom, I grab the first aid kit to heal my moon’s wounds and when I come out I stop when I hear my mate sobbing, I quickly approach the bed leaving the first aid medical equipment behind. side and look at my little girl who stirs between the quilts and tears run down her pretty face.
“Wake up little one,” I say, taking her shoulders and moving her slowly so she wakes up from that nightmare. In a matter of a second he opens her eyes and being so close to her hugs me by her neck.
I gasp in surprise as I remain petrified, I come out of my astonishment and left small caresses on her back, I feel how her small body tenses up on her and she removes her face from my neck to look into my eyes confused.
“They’re beautiful,” Bruno purrs, letting out a sigh like a teenager in love.
– Where is my mother? “She,” she asks with her voice a little sleepy and looking at me with her beautiful brown eyes that have me completely enthralled, her voice is so soft that it causes me to sigh, “Who are you?” —She questions, tilting her face, making my heart want to jump out of my chest and making me feel tender when I see that she has difficulty pronouncing the letter “R.” —My name is
Xander, —I murmur—And what’s your name, beautiful? ? —I question to distract her and thus gain time for her response to where her mother is. “Goddess what am I doing?” I think.
“My name is Camila,” she whispers with her red cheeks that give me a shock of tenderness. “Shit, I’m losing my alpha male sides, with these cute nicknames,” I think. “Are you my mom’s friend?” —She asks me curiously.
“Yes, honey, I’m your mommy’s friend,” I murmur.
Goddess, I’m going to hell for being a liar, but I don’t want to break my little girl’s heart. Such a young person is not ready to know that his parents have abandoned him. They have always said that we children are ready to see our mothers die, but I do not agree with those words.
—Do I leave myself the same as dad? —He asks with his crystallized eyes causing a pang of pain in my chest “Shit, don’t cry”
—No princess, she had to go on a very far trip and I left you with me to take care of you, —another lie “Goddess is for “It’s good,” I think, she nods. “Do you want to watch a movie?” —I question to which she nods excitedly, it’s a good strategy that she always uses with Mimy so that she doesn’t ask me questions or cry about Mom’s absence when she was out with Dad.
—A plincesa? — She asks me to which I nod — Yeeeee! —He squeals, causing him to grunt and make her laugh. “You’re a little sad,” she adds, causing him to open his eyes in surprise.
—Didn’t you just call dog? —Bruno asks in amazement.
“I think so,” I murmur, closing the link before Bruno says anything else.
“I look more like a wolf,” he commented, touching her nose to which she wrinkled it and denied.
“Wolves are bad,” she says to which I look at her in amazement again, but who instills these ideas in this girl?
– Who told you that? —She asked with a frown and swallowing saliva to avoid letting out a growl.
“My mom… also the wolf ate Little Red Riding Hood,” she informs me like a professional on the subject.
“That’s not true,” I mutter with a pout and she crosses her arms.
I imitate her.
“If that’s true,” she contradicts me, frowning.
“No,” I say to see how far she’s able to go.
“What a blast!” —Scream.
“No,” she murmured with a smile.
“Yes,” he says, pouting and touching my nose with his index finger.
“No,” I whisper and bite her finger slowly to which she opens her mouth in surprise.
“I’m hungry,” he comments and I hear her stomach growl, I let out a laugh when she looks at her surprised belly.
“Wow, you have a wolf inside her,” I say, poking her stomach and causing her to laugh, leaving me stunned with her beautiful smile.
—My beautiful moon.
