Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 394 True Love

Doris imagined Samuel's face appearing in front of her with a ferocious expression on his face. In a panic, she clawed at the air and accidentally scratched Jay.

"Bastards! All of you bad men are scums! You're rubbish! You're all being cruel to me on purpose!" Whenever Doris was angry, she never knew what she was talking about. She never made any sense. One could say that she was venting out her anger. Doris was never one to swear, but after meeting Jay, her cursing had become more colorful.

It seemed as though the more she cursed, the more she felt the pain inside her heart.

Jay dodged away in fear of hurting Doris.

Occasionally, his arm would get scratched by her. The two of them struggled against one another in the living room for a long time. When Doris finally exhausted herself, she collapsed on the sofa, gasping for breath.

After she had finished letting out her anger, she felt much better.

"Oh, you're finally exhausted, huh?" Jay questioned her as he gasped for air. He unbuttoned the first two buttons on his shirt, revealing his solid and attractive chest.

Doris quickly turned away to wipe the sweat on her forehead, and then took out her phone. Her face fell when she saw all the messages on her phone.

The messages were from Nancy, who had like been ants on a hot pot the whole afternoon.

What happened to Doris?

She had tried to contact her several times, but never got an answer.

What could this mean?

Nancy also tried to call Jay, but no one had answered either.

Nancy hoped that nothing bad had happened to her friend.

Doris was a careless woman. She didn't know how to take care of herself, let alone the child she was carrying.

In her frustration, Nancy almost threw her phone away. "Doris, what's wrong with you? Why did you disappear out of nowhere?" Nancy was not aware that Doris had lost her memory and had been "fighting" with Jay. She wouldn't have heard her phone vibrate. Doris quickly called Nancy back. "Nancy... Ha ha..."

She didn't know what to say and could only laugh dryly as she greeted Nancy.

Nancy gritted her teeth in reply, saying, "You bad girl, where have you been? What happened to you? I was so worried about you!"

Through the phone, Nancy's voice sounded sincerely worried. Nancy had always been a good friend to her.

"I'm sorry, Nancy. It's my fault. I forgot to let you know that I was fine. Please don't worry about me. Go get some rest. Good night." After replying to her, Doris quickly hung up the phone. Jay looked at her with a faint smile.

"Did you hear that, Jay?" Doris asked as she waved her phone at him.

"Yes, I did," Jay said curtly.

"Can I tell the servants that they can go to bed now?"

"Are you pleading for them?" Jay asked.

"Even if I was, they still didn't make any big mistakes. You can't fire them for this."

"Okay, but..." Jay began to protest.

Doris began to feel nervous again. She knew that this bad man wasn't easy to reason with.

Jay hesitated for a moment before he approached her and gently touched her fair skin. "How do you repay me?" he asked.

His fingertips felt cold against her skin. Every time he would touch her, Doris always felt like she was hit by an electric current. Her body would go limp and numb at his touch. Her heart clenched and she stuttered again, "Jay, I'm carrying your child. Isn't that enough of a reward?"

Jay shook his index finger at her and said, "Of course not, that's between my child and me. I want a different reward... Tell me what happened between you and Felix. Il

Doris' face went stiff at the mention of Felix.

How would she explain this to Jay?

"Jay, can we talk about something else?"

"Think it over. When you're ready, come to me," he instructed. He turned to leave for the guest room.

Doris was going crazy at the thought of telling Jay about Felix. 'Why is Jay being so unreasonable? It's so unfair that this bastard gets to live in this world!1

She scratched her head, feeling restless. Doris still had no idea how she would go about this situation.

She went downstairs and asked the servants to return to their rooms. After taking a shower, she entered the bedroom, made sure to lock the door, and went to bed.

Jay had already showered by this time and was sitting on the sofa in the guest room reading a book about economics. As he read, he listened in on Doris' movements from the other room.

Would she come to him?

Jay wanted to figure out what the complicated expression on her face meant. He assumed that Doris wouldn't be too stubborn and would come to him eventually.

He heard her go into the bathroom. Listening to the sound of water running, he put down his book and lay down on the bed, squinting to hear what she was doing.

He knew when Doris had walked out of the bathroom. He waited for her to come for a long time, but Doris never showed up.

What?

Where was Doris? Why didn't she show up?

Jay stood up in irritation and stomped out of the guest room in his night robe.

The light in the bathroom had been turned off. So he guessed she was in her room.

Moving to open the door, he quickly realized that she had locked him out.

He frowned and clenched his fists in frustration. He raised his fist high and tightened his sexy jaw to push the door open, but nothing happened. Jay had no choice but to turn back and return to the guest room. As Jay began to feel more irritated, his phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Hanson.

"What's up?" Jay sat on the sofa and asked seriously.

"Sir, I've found out what happened to Mrs. Fang. She had been locked up in prison for a year for intentional injury. The person she injured was Samuel. As for her relationship with Felix, it seems that the two have been on good terms. There is one other thing..." Hanson hesitated.

"Tell me!" Jay commanded.

"Mrs. Fang often stayed with Felix before because she had a troubled relationship with her family..."

Jay gradually tightened his grip on his phone, his knuckles turning white. His eyes looked as if he were ready to kill. Well, well, it turned out that Doris had already "lived together" with Felix, hadn't she? "Is this true?" Jay asked again, not willing to give up.

"It should be true," Hanson replied gingerly.

Jay narrowed his eyes and remained silent for a long time.

Hanson finally broke the silence after he realized Jay would not speak. "Mr. Fang, what should we do next?"

Jay snorted, "Don't let anyone find out about this. I want to see what Felix will do next!"

"What about Samuel?"

"Let him be for now," Jay replied coldly.

"Yes, sir." Hanson ended the call.

Jay worriedly rubbed between his eyebrows.

'Doris, how dare you keep this from me?' he thought.

All of a sudden, he tightened his hold on the goblet. With a bang, the goblet shattered into pieces, and the dark liquid spilled out. Scarlet blood flowed from the side of his hand.
