Chapter 361 The Press Conference

Nancy glanced at Charles nervously.

She couldn't figure out what could have happened.

How come so many unexpected things happened all of a sudden one after another?

The call was from Frederic. He was anxiously saying, "Charles, come back immediately!"

"Why? What's wrong, Grandpa?"

"Just come back immediately. Don't waste any more time!" Frederic hurriedly cut off the phone call after instructing Charles to head back.

Following his instructions, Charles ran out of the room in a hurry.

Nancy ran after him and followed him closely.

Together, Charles and Nancy drove to the old mansion of the Fu family

When they arrived, the old mansion was brightly lit.

The two ran into the living room, and they were shocked by the scene before them.

There were many reporters standing in the hall, and among them was Derrick.

"Have Nancy and Edward really registered their marriage abroad?" Frederic enunciated word by word with emphasis.

So the most important thing to do for the meantime was to find Edward.

Derrick strode over arrogantly, emitting a cold meanness around him.

"Charles, don't argue for Nancy's sake anymore. She has already registered her marriage with Edward abroad. I guess you weren't even aware of it, were you? You shouldn't trust anyone other than your family!" said Derrick.

A touch of sadness flashed through Frederic's eyes, but it was very brief and lasted for a few seconds only. He quickly came to his senses and sneered, "Derrick, if anything really happened, we can talk about it amicably in private. Can you let the reporters leave now?"

Frederic asked solemnly, but to no avail. Derrick stood his ground, shook his head and sneered, "Dad, my good old dad, even now, you still only care about Charles. Well, my dear dad, you've already lived for too long..."

"Derrick, if you keep on talking nonsense, I will ask the bodyguards to throw you out. Do you want to test me? Hardy also came over and scolded him harshly.

As he finished speaking, he pushed Joseph in front of Frederic. "Tell me honestly, is my child your real grandson? Don't you think you've gone too far by giving him less shares?"

"Grandpa, they are here just to cause trouble and sow discord among us!" Charles taunted them.

"Yes, they are here just to cause us trouble!" Frederic sighed, "When we split the properties, I did give Charles the right to inherit the group, but I didn't treat you shabbily either. I gave you enough funds to start up a new business. I heard that it's developing well now. You got everything you deserved. What else do you want now?"

"Who are you to say I have everything?" Derrick gritted his teeth and countered fiercely, "Everything we have now, I have earned through my own arduous efforts. It has nothing to do with you. How can you say I have everything?" "Then tell me. What exactly do you want now?" asked

Frederic in disgust.

"I want half of the total shares. Are you willing to give it to me or not?" Derrick coldly replied.

"No way! I don't agree!" Angelina roared furiously.

Her loud shrieking voice attracted everyone's attention.

Charles frowned. He had known everything beforehand and his intuition was right. Derrick came here today just to add fuel to the messed up situation. The photos of Nancy and Edward which were suddenly exposed might even have something to do with him.

That was why he held a press conference tonight and announced the matter of Nancy and Edward's so-called marriage to the world.
