Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 333 Calm Down

Charles approached her and held her hands, "Are you hungry? What would you like to eat?"

"I can't eat anything, Charles. That car..." The car was broken, which was really bothering her.

"Calm down. I have told you that I'll buy another one for you later." A reassuring smile appeared on his face. It was just a car; he didn't want her to worry about it. "Have they been caught?" His smile disappeared with her question.

It took him a while to answer, but in the end he replied, "Those bad guys have been arrested, but the person behind..."

Nancy interrupted his words. "Charles, they know my name. It means they know me, right?"

He nodded in agreement. "I suppose so."

"Was it Fannie, Jill, or anyone else?" Looking directly in his eyes, Nancy sighed. "It must be Fannie. I can't think of anyone else but her."

To dismiss the topic, Charles took an apple and skillfully peeled it with a fruit knife. "Don't think about it. Just leave it to me."

The truth was, when Hiram mentioned his mother, he had a hunch that she had something to do with it.

But he couldn't tell this to Nancy. If he did, it would only worsen the relationship between the two.

At this time, Bobby and Nadia entered the room. Hiram was tailing after them.

"Mommy!" the kids called at the same time.

"Why are you here?" No matter how much Nancy wanted to be with them, she didn't want them to see her in this situation.

With questioning eyes, Charles looked at Hiram.

"It's their great grandfather who asked me to bring them here," Hiram said helplessly.

"How did grandpa know?" It had only been a few hours. How could he know about it?

"It seems that you haven't read the news yet. It was said that the Ning family is cruel and merciless, to the point where they can harm their own family for the sake of their personal interests." In fact, Hiram was also curious about the news. As soon as Nancy arrived at the hospital, the news came out.

And it was blaming the Ning family.

There was no doubt that someone was pointing a finger at them.

"It's them!" Since the news said it was the Ning family, she believed that everything was done by them.

Knowing who the person is behind this sudden news, Charles and Hiram glanced at each other.

The person behind it was... Both Hiram and Charles knew that.

Unwillingly, Hiram agree, "Miss Ning, yes, it's them."

What else could he do? Could he tell her the truth?

"This grandma is so annoying. I'll go find her!" Clenching his fists, Bobby stood up as if he would walk out of the room to find the Ning family.

"Bobby, stop it!" Nancy warned softly.

In her mind, she was asking why Frederic told the kids that she had been kidnapped.

She completely misunderstood Hiram's words. It was Frederic who asked the children to come, but it was not him who told the children about what happened.

When Charles didn't come back for a whole night, Angelina felt nervous, so she tried to call him but he didn't answer.

She got the news that Nancy had been abducted and Charles, together with Hiram and Jay was rescuing her.

But, she hadn't expected that Charles would find Nancy so soon.

Silently, she was cursing Jill. She repeatedly asked her to take Nancy somewhere far away. How could they find her so soon?

Well, Angelina could accept the fact that they found Nancy. What she couldn't accept was that Nancy was safe and sound.

Angelina thought three million was not worth it.

Therefore, she immediately betrayed Jill and ordered people to issue the news, pushing the Ning family to the top of the tornado.

In this way, she wouldn't be suspected.

As for Jill and Fannie, they would not dare to betray her.

When Angelina saw the news, she shouted, pretending to be surprised, "Father, Nancy was kidnapped by bad guys! I say, the Ning family is rubbish, and they would even go against their own family. Alas, poor people can do anything!"

Her expression was a little exaggerated, and Frederic saw through her scheme at a glance.

"Angelina, when will you stop?" Frederic sighed.

"What? It has nothing to do with me, really!" Angelina said confidently.

But of course, Frederic knew better. With a snort, he went upstairs on his crutch.

However, how did Bobby and Nadia find out?

It was Joseph who told them.

When he was happily chatting with a woman, he suddenly saw a message about the Nancy being kidnapped. Nancy was kidnapped?

It was a big deal for the two kids.

So, he said goodbye to the woman and called the two children to his side.

He said mysteriously, "I'll tell you a bad news. Your mommy was kidnapped by bad guys!"

With a bang, Nadia sat on the floor.

Frowning, Bobby shouted, "Uncle, don't lie to me!"

"I'm not lying. If you don't believe me, then see it for yourselves." Joseph handed the phone to Bobby and Nadia.

The moment Nadia saw the news, she burst into tears.

"I want mommy. Mommy..."

In a rush, Bobby went to Frederic's room. "Great Grandpa, what's wrong with my mommy?"

Although he was in a bad mood because of Angelina, he gently held Bobby in his arms and said, "Your mommy is fine. Maybe she is just frightened. You and Nadia go see your mommy and comfort her, okay?' Bobby answered anxiously, "Okay." He turned to his sister. "Nadia, let's come to Mommy."

Frederic asked Hiram to take the kids to the hospital.

Seeing how sad and anxious the children were, Frederic couldn't help but sigh.

He called Joseph over and gave him a hard lesson, which threw the latter in a bad mood.

Joseph felt wronged.

"I did nothing wrong! Grandpa, why are you teaching me a lesson?'1

"Don't you know that the kids are still young? They are still sensitive and naive. Look at you! You're not acting like an uncle. I can't imagine what will happen if you have a child in the future," Frederic shouted angrily.

By the mention of it, Joseph panicked a little. "No, no, Grandpa, I don't want to be married, and I won't have a child!"

"Joseph, you provoked me on purpose, didn't you?"

Once Frederic lost his temper, Joseph knew that he should run away. "Grandpa, I'm going to look for a girlfriend. I'm leaving."

Staring at the back of Joseph, Frederic let out another sigh. "Why doesn't he work hard at all?"

"Yes, I've known it since he was a child. He likes playing. How can he do business? He's really not as good as Charles," Angelina echoed. It was obvious in her tone how proud she was of Charles.

With furious eyes, Frederic turned to look at her. "So, have you made up your mind about the matter between Charles and Nancy?"

"I haven't thought about it yet. Do you think we should find Joseph a girlfriend first, and then think about this matter about Charles later?" Angelina said perfunctorily.

Angrily, he pointed at the door and shouted, "You, get out! I want to be alone for a while."

"I... I'm leaving." Angelina left in a hurry.
