Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love
Chapter 279 Embarrass Herself

"I don't want anyone else but you. I couldn't care less about them! Even if you infect me, I wouldn't care. I want to die with you!" His demeanor was firm and serious. He then leaned in close and kissed her. "Jay! Get a grip! Do you want to die?" Doris shouted.

She then stepped on his foot hard.

"Ouch!" Jay groaned in pain.

Doris then took a step back and wiped her lips. She glared at him. Her eyes widened in belief.

"Come with me," Jay grabbed her arm.

"Where are we going?" Doris speculated that he was about to take her to the hospital.

And she was right. He certainly was taking her to the hospital.

Because Jay didn't believe that she was sick!

"I want you to go with me!" He held her arm, as he gestured to the hospital.

"Hell no! Stop it, Jay!" Doris said, as she removed his grip from her arm.

"No?" Jay then lifted her up and carried her in his arms.

He then proceeded to walk out the villa.

"Where are you taking me, Jay? You know that I'm afraid of people seeing me like this. They might run away out of fear. So please, Jay. Don't take me outside.

"I just want to see how scared they are of you!" After he got off the elevator, he headed to the car and threw her inside.

Once she was inside, she was surprised to see the route they were taking on the GPS.

He was taking her to the hospital.

"You're trying to irritate me on purpose, aren't you? You do realize that my disease looks awful? Why do you still insist on taking me to the hospital? You're just trying to hurt me again, aren't you? I can't believe you'd be this heartless. How many times will I have to tell you? I don't want to go to the hospital!" The truth would soon be revealed once they got to the hospital.

Doris knew that Charles was the boss of the hospital. Jay and Charles were very close. They treated each other like brothers. If Charles were to find out about her little trick. He would surely tell Jay and she'd be exposed...

Wouldn't that be so embarrassing?

"What makes you think you have a choice?" He smirked.

"Even if we do get to the hospital. The doctors might be off duty!"

"Don't you know that there are doctors on duty 24/7?"

"Well, what if... What if the doctor gives me a false diagnosis?" Doris fidgeted, as she tried to make up an excuse.

Jay exhaled a sigh of relief. Her indecisiveness confirmed that she was not sick at all. And that it was a trick to escape his control.

"Oh, but don't you want a false diagnosis, Doris?" He smiled mischievously, while he gritted his teeth.

Doris winced. She tried to think of something up quickly. "I think you misunderstood me, Jay. I'm definitely ill. And if he gives me a false diagnosis, I can't receive the treatment I need. It could possibly worsen my illness!"

"You don't need to worry about that. I'll get top-notch doctors for your consultation. They'll administer the best examination. Anything to guarantee that you won't be given a false diagnosis." Jay whistled slyly. "Don't you think it's a bit late to go to the hospital? We could always go tomorrow?" Doris said, as she forced a smile.

"Aren't you a doctor? Then you should know by now that doctors are on duty all the time," he asked sarcastically.

"I knew that..."

Jay then took out his phone and called Charles.

Charles was playing with his children in the garden. When suddenly his phone rang, it was Jay.

"Hey, Jay. What's wrong?" Charles asked.

"Charles, I think Doris might be sick. I was wondering if you could arrange a few experts in the Department of Hematology for her," Jay exclaimed.

"Oh no. Doris is sick?" Charles gasped. "Does Nancy know?"

"I'm not sure if she knows. But that doesn't matter right now. I have to take Doris to the hospital!"

"Okay, I'll arrange the best doctors for her right away. You should take her to the hospital as soon as possible! " Charles ended the call. He immediately dialed up Hobart. He then asked him to arrange a few doctors and await the arrival of Jay and Doris.

Once they had arrived at the hospital, they were greeted by the doctors from the Department of Dermatology and Hematology.

Doris was astonished. She saw the influence of Jay's connections.

Jay's face grew dimmer as they walked along the corridor. Doris followed behind him feeling a bit nervous. What could she do to delay this?

It didn't help that Owen stared. It was as if he knew what she was up to. At that moment, she just wanted to disappear.

"Have all the experts, doctors and nurses from the Department of Dermatology and Hematology arrived?" Jay spoke with authority. His eyes peered the uneasy faces of the people around them.

"Mr. Fang, all the doctors from the Department of Hematology and Dermatology are here now," Hobart said, as he approached Jay.

"Excellent!" Jay turned around to look at Doris.

She looked down sheepishly. As she felt a chill run down her spine.

"Doris, I want you to cooperate with the doctors. Okay?" "Okay,"

she grinned, as she scratched her head

It was at this time, Nancy unexpectedly dropped by.

"Hey, Doris. It's a bit late, isn't it? Why are you still here?" Nancy had just gotten back from seeing a patient. She thought that Doris had gone home. So she didn't expect her to still be there.

She had just finished an operation and was headed home, but happened to pass by a group of people and spotted Doris.

"I... I... Well... Jay is accompanying me for my check-up! " Doris just wanted to scare Jay.

She didn't plan for it to go this far. Now she was afraid that she might embarrass herself in front of everyone!

"Director Nancy, you arrived just in time. Can you check the rashes on her face? She might be gravely ill." Jay exaggerated, as he showed Nancy the rashes on Doris 's face.

"You shouldn't have made a big deal out of it! Doris, I thought I told you earlier that the rashes you have are just the symptoms of your allergy. Just take two pills of the prescription I gave you. They'll fade away soon!" Nancy scolded.

Doris's face grew red. She just wanted to leave.

"But Dr. Nancy, it's not just an allergy. It's some kind of disease." Jay handed her the test sheet.

"What's this?" Nancy smiled, as she read the test sheet.

"Yes, I wanted to ask a doctor if that test sheet is accurate. President Hobart, please be careful and tell me the truth. You do realize that if anything goes wrong, you'll have to face the consequences, right?" His tone was stone cold.

"Do you understand?" Hobart gazed at them firmly.

"Understood!" those doctors answered. It was evident that they were anxious of what was to come.

However, it was apparent that Owen was the most pressured out of all of them. After all, he was the one who gave Doris the fake test sheet.

Doris was indeed a very sly woman!
