Jay looked at Nancy helplessly.

"Doris, don't be silly. Look, people are watching us. If the first baby is aborted, it will do a lot of harm to your body. You probably will never be pregnant in the future. Just think about it. How terrible it is for a woman to not be a mother?" Nancy tried to persuade her earnestly.

"Director Jessie, what are you doing? There isn't any difference whether you call me either Dr. Nancy or Director Nancy. You can call me whatever you like. Don't make yourself so embarrassed!" Nancy said and wanted to leave.

But Jessie was in no mood to let her go. She followed her like a shadow.

"No, you can't say that, Director Nancy. That's just unfair. You are a well-known genius in our hospital. To put it bluntly, you are superior to others. I admire you a lot. Now the patients in the Second Pediatric Department are much more than that in my department, right?"

Disturbed by her pester, Nancy stopped and said, "Director Jessie, can we stop doing this? As doctors, we should put the patients at the first place, and nothing else is important. Don't you think so?" "Yes, of course. Dr. Nancy is always right!" Jessie said with a mocking smile.

"Bye, Director Jessie!" Nancy let out a long sigh as she turned away. Alas, she really didn't know where this Jessie had so much to say!

There should be many patients. She must be very busy. How could she have time to talk so much with her?

Nancy walked quickly to her office.

"Don't be so proud of yourself, Nancy. Even if I can't deal with you, I will find someone to do it. You just wait and see!" Jessie said ferociously.

At this time, a nurse ran over. "Director Jessie, Miss Anna Wang is here!" "Great! I was missing her! Haha!" Jessie said with a sinister smile and walked away.

When she trotted to her office, she put on a big smile and greeted, "Hello, Miss Wang? I've heard a lot about you. To be honest, you are even more beautiful than I imagined!" Jessie said, trying to flatter her. "Thank you for your praise, Director Jessie. I'm not as good as you think," said Anna Wang as she shook her head and smiled.

She just came back from abroad. Unlike Nancy, she was an exchange student sent by the school to study abroad. She was very capable of work. Because of her good family background, she was self- conceited, arrogant and bossy.

And she never admired anyone.

Since Nancy's arrival at the municipal hospital, she had won general recognition of her medical skills and had been taken as an example by the pediatric department of all major hospitals. She was admired both as a doctor as well as a good person by everyone.

As a pediatrician, Anna Wang knew that Nancy was in the same hospital.

She didn't believe Nancy could do better than her, so she choose to work in Jessie's department.

"Look, we both have the same family name and we also work in the same department. Anna, this is what is called as fate!" Jessie praised in an extremely polite way.

She seldom flatter someone with sincerity. For example, when she talked with Nancy, even though it sounded like a compliment, it was just a false affection with a tone of sarcasm and sentiment.

But her attitude to Anna Wang was totally different. She constantly tried to blandish her and be good to her.

"Nice to meet you, Dr. Anna," she greeted politely. Nancy was at a loss for words. Apart from greetings, she couldn't think of any other words.
