Molly was all set to walk instead of taking his ride.

But Chad had other plans. He drove his car right in front of her, blocking her way. "Get in."

Molly hesitated for a couple of seconds before opening the car door and climbing in. "Relax, your aunt didn't really hurt my mom. I didn't lay a finger on her." "What were you up to?" Chad asked.

"I had to teach her a lesson. The video was for her and her son. I want them to see it," Molly said.

Chad was losing his cool. "Are you trying to broadcast to everyone that you broke the law last night?"

Seeing her brother yell at her again, Molly snapped, "Chad, I'm not riding with you anymore."

She got out of the car, crossed in front of Chad's vehicle, and started walking out of the gated community.

Chad followed her in his car.

He had to coax her! She was his little princess after all. "Molly, get in the car."

He let his car roll slowly, opened the passenger side window, and watched Molly outside, sulking. "Come on, I'll drive you to the hospital."

Molly continued sulking.

Chad softened his tone. "I'm sorry about my tone earlier. Can you forgive me?"

Molly turned her face away.

As a last resort, Chad said, "If you stall any longer, Vivian's going to the hospital to see your mom."

Sure enough, Molly stopped in her tracks.

Chad hit the brakes. "Get in."

Molly got back into the car. "Get her out of there, fast."

Chad chuckled, leaning over to fasten her seatbelt. "Molly, I didn't mean anything by it. I just didn't want them to know about the bad things you did. I was worried they'd call the cops and you'd get arrested." Molly had already thought of that. "No worries, I've warned them. If they call the cops, they'll get the same treatment as Juliana. We'll see who's scared then." Chad: "..."

On the drive to the hospital, he asked the girl next to him, "Those guys were found by Mia for you, right?"

Mia, Chad had seen her violent side. In fact, he wasn't even confident he could beat that seemingly innocent girl.

And only she could have the capacity to find so many skilled people through unconventional channels for her younger sister to command.

Molly didn't deny it. "I asked Mia for help."

"Does Andre know about you guys?"

This time, it was Molly's turn to be silent.

Chad glanced at Molly, who was afraid of Andre, and he knew.

Alright, another secret operation conducted behind Andre's back by the three sisters.

"Chad, if you dare to snitch on me to Andre, you can forget about having me as your sister," threatened Molly.

Chad chuckled. "Call me 'Chad' once, and I promise you."

Molly was reluctant. "... Men are all despicable!"

Chad smirked. "Since all men are despicable, I wouldn't be a man if I wasn't. Call me 'Chad,' say 'I love you,' and I won't tell Andre about what you did." Molly regretted her words, wishing she could bite her tongue. She didn't check her horoscope before stepping out, and she had dug her own grave.

Chad laughed wickedly. "If you don't say it, I'll call him now."

"Chad, I love you. Happy now, huh?" Molly confessed reluctantly. Chad laughed.

In the evening, at Maplewood Estates.

Andre got home from work. Today, he brought a Cartier bracelet along.

Ever since his wife Mia had begun her confinement period after giving birth, she would whine in his ear every night, "Honey, I'm sick. I'm terribly ill. I got scolded by mom today. I'm definitely going to have postpartum depression. Honey, when are you coming home? I miss you every second you're not here. Honey, I..."

Knowing his wife too well, Andre knew exactly how to cure her "illness"!

So, on the first day after work, he bought a six-figure diamond ring. His nights became peaceful, with no one complaining about being sick.

The second day, he brought home a classic Tiffany necklace. Mia's "postpartum depression" was cured, and she even gave him a sweet kiss.

The third day, it was a Hermès bag. Her lovesickness also got cured, and she clung to him like a koala while sleeping, which led him to take a cold shower at night.

...

Until today, when he brought a four-diamond Cartier bracelet.

But Andre didn't feel like giving this gift today, as his darling wife was asking for trouble!

Mia looked forward to her husband's return from work every day. Her greatest joy was guessing, "What gift is my husband going to give me today?"

Her mother Madison found her daughter's behavior repulsive. "You're being so dramatic."

Mia retorted, "Just admit it if you're jealous."

Madison: "..." Eventually, Mia managed to irritate her mother enough to make her leave.

Not long after, Andre returned home with a gift bag in his hand.

As soon as he entered, he was greeted by his wife, dressed in her loungewear. Her gaze was not on him, but on the gift in his hand.

She reached out to take it, but Andre lifted it out of her reach.

"Honey- let me see my gift for today." Mia tiptoed, stretching her slender arm, looking up at the gift that was still out of her reach. "What are you doing?" Mia couldn't reach it and pouted in complaint.

Andre gazed at his wife who was still restless even during her confinement period. He swallowed, "Come to the study room with me." Mia had no idea she was in trouble. She thought she'd receive the gift in the study room, and so, she cheerfully followed her husband.

Once in the study room, Andre put the gift on his desk. "Answer my question first, then I'll give you the gift."

"What question?" Mia hopped onto the desk in front of her husband.

Andre sat in his office chair, dressed in a black suit, leaning casually on the back of the chair. His every movement exuded an air of dominance. His unintentional gestures made Mia's heart flutter with pink bubbles. She was completely smitten with her husband in a suit. "Honey, you're so handsome." Andre, who was madly loved by his little wife: "..."

No matter how handsome he was, Andre was a man of few words. "Explain to me, why did someone post a call for skilled fighters on The Silent Ring? What's going on?"

The smile on Mia's face gradually froze, then slowly disappeared.

She swallowed. "What, what's going on? I have no idea."

Andre eyed his wife's evasive gaze. "The IP address from which the order was issued, coincidentally, originated from my bedroom."

Mia bit her lower lip. "Your bedroom, and your son, it's not just me who has access."

Andre: ""

Andre was so frustrated that he took a deep breath. "Are you trying to make me pull up the security tapes?"

"Oh, honey, tell me the truth, are you a Black Pass holder? Otherwise, how would you have the authority to check the surveillance?" Mia speculated, her husband must be her ultimate adversary.

"If you don't start being honest, first, no present for you today. Second, you're on your own for your dissertation!"

Mia answered in a second. "It was Molly."

No matter how deep the sisterly affection, it was nothing compared to having her husband help with her dissertation.
