Chapter 908

Galilea clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her flesh. She was filled with anger and frustration, boiling inside her.

Why?

Why was she banned from continuing her acting career and had to resort to pleasing a wretched old man just to get a chance to appear on a variety show? Sabrina, however, seemed to have a magical hold over Tyrone, effortlessly winning his affection even when she was unfaithful.

It wasn’t fair. Galilea couldn’t accept it.

On their way back home, Sabrina remained distant from Tyrone.

When the car pulled up at the apartment, Sabrina stepped out with Jennie.

She gave Tyrone a cold, indifferent glance and said, “We’re home. You can leave now.”

Tyrone quickly caught her hand. He gazed at her with a pained expression.

“Sabrina, I didn’t lie to you. I had my reasons why I…”

“What reasons?” Sabrina asked, turning her head to face him.

Tyrone’s lips tightened, and he averted his gaze. “I can’t tell you right now.”

“Tell me what’s going on, and then I’ll believe you.”

Sabrina’s words hung in the air, a final chance for Tyrone to come clean.

However, Tyrone remained silent. He couldn’t tell her. It would devastate her. Sabrina’s voice was patient but firm as she asked again, “I’m willing to give you a chance to explain. But if you don’t say

anything, I’ll have no choice but to assume that you’re still lying to me and that your heart still belongs to Galilea.”

His silence confirmed Sabrina’s lingering suspicion—-that Tyrone was still in love with Galilea.

If that were true, she might never be with Tyrone again.

With an aching heart filled with regret, Tyrone closed his eyes and clenched his fists, trying to hold back the flood of emotions that threatened to overwhelm him.

Tyrone’s silence only added to Sabrina’s frustration. After waiting for a while, she finally lost her patience. She looked at Jennie and said, “Let’s go, Jennie.”

Jennie looked back at Tyrone as Sabrina briskly led her to the apartment.

Tyrone's eyes were deep pools of emotion as he slowly opened them and gazed at Sabrina's retreating figure. All he wanted was to protect her and shield her from the pain and heartache he knew would come with the truth.

He raised his hand slowly and waved bye to Jennie.

The little girl then turned her head and walked away with Sabrina.

While they rode the elevator up to the apartment, Sabrina stared blankly at the number on the small screen.

She couldn't understand why Tyrone was keeping something from her.

Was it because of his love for Galilea?

Perhaps he was trying to fool her again, and there were no reasons except that he loved Galilea.

She didn't want to dwell on Tyrone's mysterious behavior any longer.

"Auntie, we're here." Jennie's sweet voice brought her back to reality.

Sabrina took a deep breath and came to her senses. It was time to focus on the present.

After returning to the apartment, Sabrina contacted a previous client, someone she had collaborated with. However, she decided not to bring up the topic of her father. Instead, she informed them that an escaped prisoner was on the loose in Mallowsnow.

The individual was currently out of the country and couldn't provide much assistance, but he did suggest a person to Sabrina. He was a gangster member and had connections in the underworld. His name was Murray Scott.
