Revenge Of The Billionaire Girl
Chapter 64 Do I have to stay and take care of him

"You forced me to leave him. You disdained me for being poor. I did as you wished. Then I found a man who didn't care about my family background. Now you want to stop me again? As long as Drake isn't well, I must suffer with him. Is that what

you mean?"

None spoke.

Drake wasn't the only one who had been hurt in their relationship.

Earlier, they all had thought Sophia broke up with him for money. However, Sophia wasn't that kind of woman.

The only thing wrong was the gap between their family backgrounds.

Olivia walked over. Before she spoke, Sophia added, "I've been here. If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."

Aria yelled, "You are so ungrateful. Drake is in the emergency room under rescue. Why are you leaving so soon?"

Sophia looked at her helplessly, "Shall I stay to take care of him? Do I have the obligation?"

"Let her go," the Old Riley suddenly said.

Before Aria spoke again, he stopped her with his gaze. Aria could only button her lip.

Sophia left the hospital.

Drake woke up two hours later.

The doctor reminded his family and friends that Drake must stop drinking. If this went on, he would need surgery. If he didn't stop, anything could happen to him.

Aria growled, "Drake, can't you stop being so stupid for that woman? What's so good about her? Is it worth it? She came here just now. You don't know how arrogant she was..." Drake ignored all her words except the last line. "Did you say she had been here earlier?"

"Right. That woman was so rude..."

Drake interrupted her, "Did she really come here?"

The Old Riley darted a glance at him. "Drake, you almost killed yourself three years ago for that woman. Now you're like this. How can I stop worrying about you?" "Did she really come here?" Drake asked again.

Others exchanged glances.

Drake's status reminded them of the days when Sophia first left him. They all had thought he would be ruined. However, he suddenly let go of it and became normal. Evidently, Sophia gave him another heavy blow. They wondered what would happen next.

Olivia walked up to the bed, pretended to care about him, and reminded him, "Drake, you have just woken up from a coma. Please stop overthinking. Take a good rest."

Flynn suggested, "It's too late now. Why don't you go home? Mr. Riley, Mrs. Riley, and Aria? I'll stay to take care of Drake."

Others didn't refuse. The Old Riley was too old. Olivia and Aria were both women, so they couldn't stay. Flynn and Bailey could stay to take care of Drake.

Flynn would stay overnight, so Bailey decided to return the following day.

Soon, they were all gone.

"Flynn, did she come here for real?" Drake repeated. Seemingly that was the only thing he cared about.

"Drake!" Flynn felt sorry for him. "You are always calm among us three. Once you fall in love with a woman, you love her for a lifetime. I'm sorry, but I don't think Sophia and you can get back together." Drake seemed not to hear his words. "What did she say after arriving?"

Flynn heaved a sigh and had to tell him what had happened earlier in detail.

"Look. She doesn't love you now. Why do you have to be like this?"

Flynn shook his head helplessly.

"No! She loves me."

Flynn was rendered speechless.

"If she hadn't loved me, she wouldn't have come here right after receiving your call." Drake had never been so sure before. Flynn wondered if he was out of his mind.

After a while, he was enlightened. "Drake, my younger sister will return soon."

Drake, however, was still immersed in his world. "Sophia is so stubborn and proud. I know she still loves me, not Travis Lawson." Flynn sighed again. "All right. All right. Take a good rest."

Drake was sleepless, though. Staring at the ceiling, he couldn't help imaging how concerned Sophia looked after arriving at the hospital.

He did miss her greatly.

...

The following day, once Bard entered Sophia's bedroom, he smelt alcohol.

He looked around, only to find empty liquor bottles. Sophia was sleeping on the floor.

Shaking his head, Bard gingerly put away the bottles and mumbled, "Silly girl, why did you drink so much liquor again?"

Probably she had heard his voice, she woke up, looking blank.

"Is that you, Bard?"

"Of course. Who else could it be? What the heck did you do last night? Why did you drink so much liquor?"

Sophia slowly got up, almost falling to the ground. Bard hurriedly help her up.

"I hope it's not because of Drake Riley."

"Nope," Sophia answered.

However, Bard didn't believe her. "No? I've never seen you like this for another man."

"It's been three years. Can't you forget him?"

"Bullshit! I've forgotten him already."

Bard gaped at her wordlessly.

However, he couldn't do anything.

Sophia had a migraine from the hangover. Looking at Bard pitifully, "Bard, I'm not going to work today. Can you help me take care of my job?" "No problem."

What else could Bard do?

After putting the empty bottles away, he added, "Sophia, stay home for a rest. Don't ever drink again."

"I got it."

She wouldn't do it again as she had utterly bid her first love farewell. Bard put down the breakfast and left.

Sophia adjusted her mood and went to work the next brand new day.

She headed for Skylane Group for the new project, so she arrived early.

Chloe didn't ask Sophia the previous night, though she sensed something must have happened to Sophia.

Since Sophia didn't tell her, she didn't ask.

However, she was worried.

"Can you do it? I can go there, Sophia."

"No problem. I will go."

The project was too significant, so Sophia decided to watch it personally.

After arriving, Harris saw Flynn and Sophia. Surprised, he asked, "Where are Mr. Riley and Mr. Duncan?"

Flynn darted a glance at Sophia. "They are still in the hospital."

"What happened?"

"Drake got sick. Bailey stayed to take care of him."

Harris furrowed his brows. "Is it severe?"

"He was fine. So I represented them to come here today."

"It's alright. You and Ms. Lawson are here. By the way, Ms. Lawson, let's go to see Mr. Riley in the hospital later, shall we?" Sophia refused indifferently, "Mr. Sutton, I'm sorry, but I won't go."
