Revenge Of The Billionaire Girl -
Chapter 55 Shall We Have a Try?
"I won't let go of you if you don't thank me."
Sophia was wordless.
"Shall we have a try?"
She realized Drake wanted to take advantage of her.
"Drake Riley..."
He suddenly pressed a kiss on her lips.
Sophia could feel it was a gentle kiss, reminding her how he used to treat her in the past.
While immersed in his kiss, Sophia reminded herself that she was no longer the young, naive girl as before.
She stretch out her hands to push him away, but Drake pressed her against the wall.
He also restrained her hands above her head, and they formed a weird gesture.
However, he seemed to kiss her earnestly.
Sophia lifted her foot to struggle, but Drake forcibly pressed it down.
In his presence, she couldn't do anything.
For how long this kiss lasted, Sophia didn't know. Finally, Drake let go of her with a triumphant smile.
"Sophia, I saved you from trouble earlier. I should get a reward from you, right?" he asked.
Sophia snorted. "Sure. I'll just take it as a dog biting me. I've been bitten before."
Instead of being annoyed, Drake laughed, "You are right. I'm a dog. I love biting you."
Sophia looked away to avoid being seduced by his charm.
"Why are you here?" he suddenly scowled at her, his face turning stern.
"None of your business."
"We shared a kiss just now. It's my business, of course."
Sophia flew into a rage. "You are so shameless, so rude!"
"Good manners bring me no good. I don't care."
Sophia decided to keep silent as she couldn't win against him verbally.
Drake didn't stop studying her expression. For three years, she had changed a lot. However, he loved each side of her.
"Let go of Sophia, Drake Riley!" Bard rushed over and gripped Drake.
He waited for Sophia to return to the private box for a long time and felt worried. Sophia was so charming. He was afraid she might be harassed. Sure enough, when he turned the corner, he saw Drake doing something to Sophia.
Bard threw a punch at Drake, wishing to skin him alive.
Drake let go of Sophia but didn't realize what Bard had done. Bard's punch fell on his face, which annoyed Drake immediately.
He didn't think Bard had the right to hit him. Before he fought back, Sophia stopped them.
The men's fists paused mid-air.
"Let's go, Bard," she said.
"We cannot let go of him so easily."
Bard finally had a chance to hit Drake, unwilling to give it up.
"Just go. Hurry!"
Sophia forcibly dragged him away.
Bard yelled, "Wait and see, Drake Riley. I'm going to teach you a lesson sooner or later."
Drake touched his punched cheek. It hurt a lot, and blood oozed from his mouth. He wondered if Bard had beaten him with all his strength.
Somehow, Bard's hostility toward him was unlike the one between two rivals in love. Instead, Bard was more like Sophia's older brother.
They were both surnamed Lawson. So far, Drake had never met or heard of Sophia's parents. He wondered if she was a member of the Lawson family. He pulled out a phone and called Paul.
"Check if the Lawson family in Pinkerton has a daughter."
Paul was baffled. 'A daughter? How come? All people know the Lawson family only has four sons?'
However, he must execute his boss' order.
"OK, Mr. Riley. I'll check it now."
Thinking of the possibility that Sophia was the Lawson family's daughter, Drake smiled.
On the way back to the box, Bard complained, "Sophia, why did you stop me? I'm powerful. Think I cannot win against him?"
"Yep," Sophia answered without hesitation.
Bard gaped at her.
"Sophia, how can you take his side? I wanted to defend you."
Sophia replied thoughtfully, "Drake Riley had won the freestyle fighting championship for five years. He stopped joining the competition later. Or he would keep winning." Bard parted his lips but couldn't utter a word.
A while later, he said, "So what? I'm also adept at fighting. I didn't join the competition. If I had, he wouldn't have won the championship."
Sophia glanced at him. "Anyway, don't provoke him."
Her words made Bard feel unhappy.
However, he could tell Sophia was serious, realizing Sophia was unwilling to see him in danger.
Therefore, Bard decided to let go of Drake for the time being.
When they left, it was almost midnight. All people in the box had drunk, so none could drive. Fortunately, the bar sent some employees to drive them home.
Bard went to the men's room before leaving the bar. By then, almost all the company employees had gone. Chloe and Helena were waiting with Sophia. Sophia suggested, "Why don't you guys go home? I'll wait for Bard."
"All right. Good night, Sophia." They drunk so much, wishing to hurry home for a good sleep.
"Sure. Good night."
They sat in a car and left.
Sophia waited in the lobby for a long time, but Bard still didn't show up. She wondered if he was vomiting.
Sophia informed the driver to wait outside the bar and was about to check on Bard.
However, a man rushed toward her from behind. Before Sophia realized it, he inserted the syringe into her arm.
Soon, Sophia fainted.
When Bard left the men's room, he didn't see Sophia.
"Sophia? Sophia?"
He looked around but failed to find her. When he saw a familiar thing on the ground, he trotted over and recognized it was Sophia's phone. He realized something had happened to his younger sister.
'Damn it!'
Bard asked the bar for the surveillance video to look for the clues.
When Sophia woke up, she felt pain all over her body. When she struggled, she found she was tied up too tightly to move.
'It hurts! Where am I?'
Sophia could hear the sound of the water, wondering if she was in a boat.
'Someone wants to send me away?'
When she heard the voices at the door, Sophia closed her eyes, pretending to be still in a coma.
A person walked in, seeing she still fainted.
"Good. It saves our energy. Let's do as we're told."
"OK."
Two men walked over, lifting Sophia.
One said hesitantly, "She's so beautiful. It's a pity to dump her into the sea. Boss, shall we have fun with her before doing it?"
