Return Of The Prodigy -
Return of the Prodigy Chapter 181
Adam looked at Kevin as if he were looking at a dead man. "Were the Banks involved in the massacre of the Drakes six years ago?"
"Are you thinking about prying information out of me to find your enemy?" Kevin said with a grin. "Haha, you can't be so stupid to think that you'll get to live to see another day, right? Anyway, the Banks were involved. What about that? The Drakes got what they deserved. Serves you right for being so arrogant!
"The Banks tried everything in their power to establish a good relationship with you. They did not even hesitate to send me to your family's martial arts academy so that I could befriend you or become your servant.
"However, you didn't even deign to look at me. Instead, you had me kicked out of the academy. My grandfather begged your family to reconsider the decision, but you didn't care at all and even drove my grandfather away. "I'm sure you would've never expected that the Drakes would fall one day while my family would rise.
"Haha, do you regret what you did back then?"
It was now that Adam recalled a few details. He remembered that a student was indeed kicked out of his family's academy, and the student's grandfather kneeled before the main gate of the Drakes, begging them to show mercy.
The reason that the student was kicked was that he robbed a female student and beat her boyfriend to a pulp. Then, he stripped the female student naked and tried to rape her. Luckily, the guards keeping watch at night noticed the commotion and intervened. Later, to protect the female student's reputation, the academy did not make the matter public and quietly kicked out that student.
Only now did Adam discover that the student from back then was Kevin Bank. This explained why he had that picture of Adam. They attended the same academy, after all.
Adam snorted, the disgust he felt for Kevin even stronger than before.
"Six years ago, the Banks were not even worth picking up the trash of the Drakes. There's no way you were qualified to participate in the battle. Who was there aside from your family?" asked Adam.
Kevin's expression changed a little. He did not continue with this topic and said instead, "You should worry about your safety rather than worrying about the past. Guys, take him down!"
With that, the burly men behind him took action. However, they were immediately blocked by the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade.
"Get out of the way!" shouted one of the burly men as he stretched out his hands toward a soldier.
The soldier looked at him coldly and said before throwing a punch, "You'll regret insulting Drake the Dragon!"
The burly man said with a sneer, "Tsk, do you want to see who can fight better?"
He likewise threw a punch, deciding to meet the attack of the soldier head-on.
Boom!
The two fists collided, kicking up a cloud of dust. The bodies of the two men shook, and they were both sent reeling backward.
The soldier of the Black Snake Brigade raised his eyebrows, slightly surprised.
The burly man narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "It seems I've underestimated you. You know how to throw a punch."
Kevin sneered. "It seems you did something meaningful these past few years. Did you open a training center to teach people how to fight in an attempt to rebuild the Drakes? Haha, David. You're still the naïve child from back then." Adam stared daggers at him. "You're also the same as back then. Doing stupid things heedless of the consequences. I could crush you like an insect back then, and I can do the same today!
"Also, don't think that I've forgotten about you guys." Adam turned to look at the Moodys and said, "I gave you an opportunity to make amends yesterday, but since you don't want it, there's no reason for your family to exist anymore."
Dray looked at him coldly and said, "Enough of your nonsense. What did you do to my son?"
Adam replied casually, "I killed him."
Dray was stunned. He looked at Adam with an expression of pure disbelief. Although he had guessed it yesterday, when he heard the truth from Adam's mouth, he still found it hard to accept it.
"You son of a bitch, I'm going to kill you!" roared Dray as he dashed toward Adam.
Black Dragon intercepted him and kicked him backward.
Dray landed on the ground heavily and spat out a mouthful of blood, his body coming to a stop only after rolling for a dozen or so feet.
While lying on the ground, he begged, "Mr. Bank, please give this guy to me after you're done with him! I want to chop him into pieces and bury him with my son!"
Kevin laughed. "I'm afraid that won't be possible. Mr. Drake is a prized possession, and many people would love to have a piece of him. However, I can leave the other people in the cemetery to you, including that girl. Perhaps you can bury her with your son so that he'll have some company in the other world."
Sandra, who was already frightened by what was happening, trembled at Kevin's words.
Kevin continued, "I don't have much time, Mr. Drake. I think it's time to put an end to this farce. Remember, don't kill David. There are many secrets about the Drakes that I want to pry out of him."
Along with Kevin's order, his subordinates rushed toward the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade.
Adam snorted and commanded, "Aside from that guy, don't leave anyone alive."
"Yessir!"
Black Dragon ran toward the crowd of burly men. All the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade stopped holding back and decided to give it their all.
An intense battle broke out in the cemetery.
Black Dragon was like an unstoppable spear as he clashed against the enemy forces.
All the burly men were skilled fighters that Kevin had recruited from the training centers that his family managed, but Black Dragon was a trained soldier who had fought countless battles. They were no match for him.
The battle raged, and the burly men were knocked down one after the other. The sound of bones breaking echoed throughout the cemetery as the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade attacked.
In a short three minutes, more than a dozen of Kevin's subordinates had been defeated. They lay on the ground in disarray. Their arms, legs, and in some cases even necks, had been broken.
The battle was over very soon.
All the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade were unscathed while their enemy had been annihilated. Those burly men had learned many flashy fighting styles, but when it came to killing people, the soldiers of the Black Snake Brigade were vastly superior. Black Dragon said coldly, "Search every nook and cranny of the cemetery, don't leave anyone alive!"
The soldiers did as instructed without hesitation.
The burly men that were still alive looked at the approaching soldiers with fear in their eyes. They were like helpless lambs waiting for the scythe of the Grim Reaper. They shivered nonstop, and some of them were so scared that they wet themselves. "Don't kill me! I don't want to die!"
"No, stop! My wife and children are waiting for me at home!"
The burly men begged for their lives, trying to crawl away despite their broken limbs. If none of their limbs was working, they used their chins. At this moment, they did not care about dignity; they just wanted to survive. Unfortunately, despite their pleas, the soldiers remained unmoved...
