Return of the Prodigy Chapter 165

Logan suddenly stepped forward and said, "Where's Drake the Dragon? We want to talk to him!"

"It's not your place to demand an audience with Drake the Dragon!" Black Dragon refused bluntly.

Logan looked at Black Dragon sternly and said, "This is important, so it's best if we can speak to him. I'm sure no one wants to see Alameda County go into chaos. If El Coco isn't around to hold the reins, the local underworld will go on a rampage for power. When the time comes, Alameda County will plunge into total chaos, and people will die. Do you want that to happen?"

Black Dragon narrowed his eyes and looked at Logan coolly, "Is that a threat?"

Logan stopped talking. After all, he had made himself abundantly clear.

"You might seem powerful on the outside, but let's not forget where your power comes from. If Drake the Dragon didn't close one eye, you'd have nothing! How could you have the audacity to pull threats on Drake the Dragon?" Black Dragon scoffed. Logan remained quiet.

The atmosphere felt tense as Black Dragon shouted, "Team A, go capture him. If anyone dares to stop you, just shoot!"

The men from Black Snake Brigade accepted the order and turned to enter the villa!

Logan tried to run after them. The moment he gave chase, guns were trained on his chest!

Enrico looked worried. He gritted his teeth and said, "I want to speak to Drake the Dragon! That is all I ask!"

Black Dragon went quiet for a couple of seconds before retrieving his phone and calling Adam.

Black Dragon put the phone on hands-free mode and said, "Drake the Dragon, Enrico would like to speak to you. Otherwise, he refuses to hand over the guy!"

Adam said coolly, "Since he doesn't mind giving up his power, then we will take everything!"

He hung up immediately.

Enrico stood stiffly, his lips slightly apart. He watched in shock, his face crimson. He felt so embarrassed that he wanted to hide!

Adam had unexpectedly refused to speak to him directly. After all, he was a powerful man in Alameda County. How could Adam embarrass him blatantly?

Enrico inhaled deeply. He wanted to explode but suppressed his fury. He gritted his teeth and said, "I won't retaliate if you want to take him, but I have one request. Can I spend one final day with him before I personally send him to Drake the Dragon?" Black Dragon frowned and refused. "No. What if you help him leave the country?"

Enrico sneered coldly and said, "Doesn't Black Snake Brigade have eyes everywhere?"

Black Dragon did not fall for his ploy and simply said coldly, "Mind your business."

Enrico narrowed his eyes as he stepped forward. He looked at Black Dragon as he said slowly, "That is all I ask! If you don't have the authority to make decisions, then call Drake the Dragon. Even if you're capable of ruining me, Alameda County will plunge into chaos. Black Snake Brigade might be good, but it's impossible for you to suppress everyone immediately. People are going to die because of this."

Enrico acted as though he was ready to die for his son! After pausing for a couple of seconds, he sighed miserably and looked exhausted. Despite all the power he possessed, right now, he looked like a lonely vulnerable old man.

"Once you take him, this could be the last time I see my son. I have been a bad father. All I ask is to let me spend one more day with him."

Black Dragon considered for a couple of seconds and said deeply, "Enrico, I hope you keep your word. I'm not doing it because you're powerful. I'm doing it out of pity for a father about to lose his son." Enrico nodded gratefully. "Thank you."

Black Dragon said nothing and simply waved his hand. "Ask the men to come back."

Black Dragon promptly left with the men from Black Snake Brigade the moment he finished his sentence.

Enrico's face swiftly turned cold. He said, "Make arrangements for the men to be sent to the hospital. Where is the stupid boy?"

He walked into the villa and before long was in front of Mario.

"Dad, I can explain..." said Mario softly, his head lowered, not daring to meet his father's eyes.

Before Mario could finish his sentence, Enrico kicked the wheelchair sending him tumbling onto the ground. Mario rolled over three times and gritted his teeth in agony as he broke out in cold sweat. "Dad..." Mario cried out anxiously.

"Stop calling me dad, I'm not your father," roared Enrico as he walked over and kicked Mario hard again.

Logan hurriedly stopped Enrico when the latter refused to stop hitting Mario.

"El Coco, Mario is still recovering."

Enrico roared furiously, "Injuries? I really want to kill him. He's my son. Why is he so stupid?

"I've already warned you not to seek revenge. You can't afford to offend Adam. I told you to stay home, and stay out of trouble, but you went behind my back and pulled this off. How could you hire mercenaries from abroad to enter the country illegally? How could you get ammunition? Do you have a death wish?" Enrico's eyes were bloodshot as he bellowed, "I had planned it all. I was going to use the Camdens and Hamiltons to get back at them without dirtying my hands. Thanks to you, I have to get personally involved now. Do you know who the guy is? He's a general with 100,000 troops. He is also the leader of the Black Snake Brigade, Drake the Dragon! I doubt I could ever surpass him. How dare you piss him off?" What?

Mario was in complete shock.

Him, a general? Is he Drake the Dragon?

Mario was in complete disbelief! This news was simply mind-blowing!

How is this possible? The man is just in his twenties!

Is he genuinely more influential than my father? Does he actually hold a higher status?

All this time he kept escaping unscathed and thwarting the Camdens' plans... He had done it using his own influence and not with the help of the Hamiltons!

Mario could not help trembling just thinking about this.

If Adam is what Dad said he is, I have offended someone untouchable! The entire family will get implicated along with me!

Fear instantly flooded Mario's heart. He forgot about the pain he was in and asked in horror, "Dad, what should I do now? I promise never to cause trouble from now on. You have to save me."

"So you are finally scared?" Enrico kicked Mario furiously.

Mario did not dare to retaliate as he sat on the ground!

Enrico suppressed his anger and said in fury, "If Drake the Dragon wants you, there is no stopping him. You can't stay in the country anymore. Pack your things and leave immediately!"

Mario trembled instantly with fear in his eyes.

Do I have to run away?

Enrico continued, "Logan, you will personally send him out of the country and take care of everything. I will make arrangements to wire a billion USD to a foreign account."

Logan nodded. "Don't worry. I will ensure he gets sent abroad safely."

Enrico shook his head and said solemnly, "It isn't as easy as you think. The people from Black Snake Brigade are very smart, so they probably have eyes on the usual means of travel. You have to find a way to smuggle him out of the country!" "I know what to do," Logan replied solemnly.

Enrico sighed powerlessly. He turned to look at Mario and gritted his teeth as he said, "I suggest you behave after you leave the country. If you continue making trouble again, I doubt I can save you then."

"When can I come home?" Mario asked miserably.

"Do you still think you can come home?" Enrico bellowed. "You can forget about coming back in this lifetime!"

Mario trembled the moment he heard his father. His eyes looked utterly hopeless!

Enrico bit his lip. Mario was his son, so he could not help softening up on him. "You idiot. You can't come back until Adam is dead. When he is dead, I'll send someone to get you."
