Chapter 72

Gabi’s POV

I knew today was going to be rough, but this is too much. Most of my class was great and respectful, but Alan was training the group to my right, and he was next to me. Heather and Jack are on my end of the first and second row, respectively, and continued to glare at me the whole time.

Alan had gotten onto them several times, but they focus on him for a little while and go back to it, glaring at me again. They need to stop. It is ridiculous them being mad at me at all because I have never done anything to them.

They are acting childish and stupid. Jameson is on my left side training his group and he has Piper and Derek in his group.

Piper is in the middle of the front row and trying, but not getting it very well. Derek was on the end nearest me and makes sure that he gets my attention any time I look at the people on that end of my group.

Tanner is forty feet directly behind me, between Hudson, and Easton. I wish today was already over with, but we are just coming to the end of the first three-hour training. It is clear to all of us that they have not been trained well and are no match for the rogues.

I watched Heath and Alpha Black on the sidelines, and they are also surprised at the lack of training that they have, no one knew it was this bad. They have been walking back and forth around the training to watch everyone, and they are not impressed. and I am amazed at how Heather seemed like she knew what she was doing when in reality, my wolf was so weak she couldn’t protect me because she kept having to heal me.

Heather just got lucky, I was weak and untrained, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to get hurt, and it looked like she was strong, but she isn’t, and she isn’t doing what Alan told her to do now either.

Alan tells his group to stop and then mindlinks us to tell our groups to stop as well. He wants to speak, and he needs quiet to do it for everyone to hear him.

“I want you to all hear this. I have never seen a group be MORE in need of training in my life and I have been on about 20 of these missions already. You are not listening to instructions or directions. You are watching other groups, and you need to be focused on what I am teaching you in mine.

I need to know what the problem is so we can fix it and move on. Because right now you are totally wasting our time with this, and that is a slap in the face to us. Either you want to learn, or you don’t there is no other answer.

If you have an issue, please say it now so we can get it taken care of and addressed so we can move on” Alan tells the groups and he turned in a circle to make sure they all knew that it was an open invitation for them to say something now, or forever hold their peace.

“I have a problem. How can a girl with no wolf be a trainer? Why is Gabi even here? She barely even knows what she is doing. I know she is allegedly on the “team” but I cannot see her being good enough to train the Omegas, let alone me.I can’t be the only one who thinks it either” Heather yells out so everyone can hear her. Jack nods in agreement and calls out “Yes, Heather is right” and a few others, mostly their friends call out in agreement and support.

“OK, how do you propose to get us past this? Because whether you all like it on not, Gabi is a valued part of our team, and she is a full trainer. You would be wise to listen to her and follow her directions” Alar calls back out and some of the group nods in acceptance of what Alan said, but not Heather and Jack.

“I heard what you say to us Alan, but I used to kick Gabi’s a*s* every single day at school, and I know ! could do it again. If you give me a chance to that is, and you men don’t just in to save her from me.

Can I be excused from this stupid training if I can beat her as*s?” Heather calls out and seems to be even cockier as she speaks. I have to reign Tala in as she is really angry at being disrespected and maligned like that.

Alan looks over at me and I nod to him because that was him asking me if I was Ok with that. I glanced over at Heath, and he was fighting back a smile as I believe that he wanted this to happen and maybe everyone will pay more attention to the training that could, in all seriousness, save their lives.

Heath nods at me to go ahead as well and I looked over to get permission from Derek who smiled and

mouthes, “kick her as*s”, as I know he remembers me getting him down on the floor in my room. I walked over to Tanner, and I take my thigh holster off and my vest with my magazines in it, as you never know when we could be getting attacked.

I fully intended on cutting the number of rogues in half. Some moron at the back of Alan’s group does a loud whistle at me because I am now down to my sports bra and my leggings.

I heard a loud growl erupt from Tanner who was looking in that direction to try to see who had whistled, but it was unclear who had made the noise. As I come back to the head of my group, they can all see my mark showing proudly on my shoulder.

Heather smirks at me and takes her shirt off to get down to her leggings and sports bra too and a couple of catcalls rang out for her as I wound my ponytail up and around to make a bun for my hair.

Heather is the type to resort to anything to win and I am not going to give her any opportunities. Tala is out for b***d after what Heather said and being back here in this pack isn’t bringing up great memories.

Alan calls us both over to a sparring circle in the training area and tells us that this fight is not to the death, and Heather looked surprised. I nodded, and Alan said that the fight will go on until someone tapped out, and the fight would be over at that point.

Heather nodded and said, “Well it won’t be me to tap out Alan” before Alan started the fight. I just stood there straight and watched Heather as she tried to figure out why I didn’t immediately attack her. I wasn’t going to do that to her, I am going to play with my food first.

Tala took over control for a minute and gave a really scary growl to Heather, showing herself for a moment for Heather to know, I did, in fact, have a wolf.

Heather frowns and looks over at Jack, as she is now nervous, as she thought that I would be easy work, and he nods his head at her, telling her to go ahead and attack. Heather comes rushing at me and I wait and sidestep at the last moment.

Heather ends up falling to the ground and gets up growling at me, she was embarrassed as she had called all the attention to me getting my as*s kicked, and she is the one who is the one looking like a moron. I decided to start calling out instructions to my group of women who are right there watching us.

“You see how I waited until she was on top of me to move? She is expending energy and I am saving mine.

You don’t always have to fight to win the battle, getting them tired from attacking and then attacking them is also a good route to take if you can” I tell them. Heather growls in fury and tries again, this time allowing her claws to come out and she almost got a hold of me with the extra length she had with letting them come out.

“She is desperate and trying to hurt me now. We did not call on using our wolves, this was just a sparring match, so I think Heather thinks she can’t beat me unless she cheats” I told them. Heather allows her claws to retract, and she seems calmer now before she tries again.

I allow her to come in close and when she leaned forward towards me coming in to attack me again, I do a roundhouse kick against the side of her head, and she is out like a light laying on the ground.

“So, I saved my energy and when she was angry and unfocused, I took her out. You always have to be focused during a fight. I heard someone running towards me and I hit the ground right before Jack sailed over the top of me. I was hoping that he would get mad enough to stop clowning and sending others to do his dirty work.

Jack turns quickly and yells out in rage as he comes back towards me, and he is slower this time so he can adjust to be able to get me. I won’t be hitting the ground to avoid him this time.

“You f*****g, little b!tch, I am going to be so glad to take your smug as*s down. You think you are so great; you are nothing here, a stupid little Omega that doesn’t matter to anyone.

The only people who ever loved you are dead now” Jack tells me, and I am reminded of how vile he truly is. Tala is growling out and she is mad and wants b***d for that comment.

Alan steps forward, but I raise my hand and told him, “No, I have got this. He is more pathetic than he looks” and Jack roars and comes at me quickly, I let him pass me and when he turns around to come back, I hit him square in the chest as he came at me with a front elbow strike and then twisted around to hit him in the back with a rear elbow strike.

Jack stumbled forward and then turned back around to look at me in surprise. He came back towards me, and I swept his leg out from under him and took him down to the ground. Jack swept my legs out from under me and then gets on top of me and goes to try to choke me. grab his hands at the wrists, and I pull my knee up as hard as I could and hit him in the d!ck. Jack goes to crumple down onto me, and I edge him over to lay next to me. Jack looks shocked that I would have done that.

Jack is laying on the ground holding his d**k with both hands and then ground out to me, “That was cheating, you can’t do that”.

“You attacked me while my back was turned to you. The fight was between me and Heather. Not me, Heather, and you, and the point of a fight is to have a winner, I believe we have one now. Do not attack me again while I am here Jack, it will not end well for you.

Tala wanted b***d, so do it again, and I guarantee that it won’t be just your balls hurting because I will end you” I told him as I got up from the ground and walked over to Tanner. I put my thigh holster on and secured my gun to my leg again and then I put my vest back on.

I got up on my tip-toes to k!ss Tanner and thank him for holding my stuff. I go back to the head of my group with Jack still laying there and Heather still knocked out. I looked over at Alan and said, “This might be a good time for a break.

We can get them for 3 hours tomorrow morning. I believe the River Bed Pack is coming in this afternoon and we can do this all over again”.

Heath called out over the groups and said, “You all saw what happened. I won’t allow my trainers to be hurt by a pack member with an agenda. That said, Jack Walker, if you chose to attack Gabi while we are here on Red River packlands, I WILL treat it as an act of war between this pack and my own.

I will not hesitate to take this pack out. This applies to anyone from this pack, no matter who they are”.

Alpha Black speaks out as well, “I will also be participating in it if someone attacks ANY of the trainers.

I consider Gabi to be my granddaughter. Hurting her, or any of the trainers WILL get my pack involved in a war. You cannot win against Ever Green or my pack and trust me when I say that I will sift you out and separate you from the pack and you will pay in the very worst way”.

They are not playing with one of us getting attacked, and hopefully, we can get them trained and get the hell out of here, never to return again.
