"Hey, go ahead. Don't forget to have fun!" Rocky gleefully said as he signaled Robin to start.

As a response, Robin growled. Shortly, it passed through the iron fence and set its foot on the arena.

Robin's presence immediately attracted all the people present on the battlefield. Perhaps the people were so drawn to Robin because it had a powerful stature, and was able to do something that not every spirit-manipulated beast could do—walk with its hind legs, just like a human being.

But because Robin's strength was only at the third-grade of the three-star level, it was not at all outstanding to the entire audience.

"What do you mean by “not really'?" Woods asked as he became more suspicious of Rocky's reply. Meanwhile, in the arena, the bell rang, signaling the beginning of the competition.

All of a sudden, Robin's opponent, the spirit-manipulated beast at the third-grade of the three-star level, dashed towards it at lightning speed. It bore its teeth and brandished its sharp claws as it went straight for Robin.

On the other hand, Robin remained stationary. With its eyes as calm as flowing water, Robin looked like a hunter waiting for its prey to arrive.

At the same time, the people saw that Robin was not moving at all. In fact, the audience thought that it might be too weak to attack or even defend itself from its opponent. Seeing this, the people started to mock Robin and pointed at it.

"How dare they let this good-for-nothing spirit-manipulated beast compete! I bet you that even the watchdog of my house is stronger than it..."

Simultaneously, Robin could be seen standing just a few meters away from its opponent, as if it had never moved a muscle.

The next competition will be between spirit-manipulated beasts at least at the third grade of the four-star level or above. With that being said, do you still want to participate in it?" the person in charge asked Rocky.

"Go ahead!" Rocky nodded as he answered.

"Are you sure about it? Your spirit-manipulated beast is only at the third grade of the three-star level... Are you really sure you want to do this?" the person in charge asked again after seeing that Rocky might not be aware of the potential mismatch of Robin's opponent. Although Robin had shown remarkable strength in the previous round, it was still at the third grade of the three-star level and not of the same level as the spirit-manipulated beasts of the third grade of the four-star. "We are sure. Just go and arrange it," said Woods and nodded with resolution.

Seeing that Rocky and Woods were quite confident of Robin, the steward bowed and left the area. On the other hand, as Rocky told the steward to continue the fight, the winner, Robin, didn't quit the competition. Instead of resting, it patiently waited for its next opponent.

With long and flat mouth, this spirit- manipulated beast resembled a crocodile. In addition, its whole body was covered in hard scales. It was about a meter in height, and its three of its tails resembling a crocodile’s wagged and hit the ground up and down continuously.
