Rocky's eyebrows shot up in surprise when Sam displayed his Beast Evaluation Skill, and he sat straighter amid the Cao Clan's evaluators that were sitting around him. The Beast Encyclopedia he possessed recorded all the mysterious Beast Evaluation Skills, including the ones that were prominent in Wild Spirit Land, and this Spiritual Thread Evaluation Skill was one of them.

According to the records on the Beast Encyclopedia, the cultivator needed to have superb medical skills, extensive familiarity with the law of acupoint, and mastery of the method of energy flowing before he could master this Spiritual Thread Evaluation Skill. In other words, he must have a solid medical skill foundation and a profound understanding of the body structure of the beast. In the following battles, Sam defeated two more beast evaluators from the Huang Clan single- handedly, and he won the competition of beast evaluation for the Cao Clan in the first round.

Since the Huang Clan saw beast evaluation as their strength, their loss negatively affected their morale, as they also knew that they were much weaker on the two other parts. They couldn't boost their morale and completely lost the competition of beast curing, and in this way, as they had lost two rounds, their opponent was declared as the winner.

The Cao Clan was promoted to the next round.

The interesting part was that the best beast curer of the Cao Clan didn't step on the stage, and instead, it was Travis and Mary from the Xiao Clan who competed for them. Together, the brother and sister defeated the three beast curers from the Huang Clan in an overwhelming manner. Because of this, the brother and sister from the Xiao Clan drew loads of attention, and in just a single round of the Beast Master Contest, their fame sky-rocketed.

Juey was also on the list of beast masters in the contest, but she was only a substitute. If everything went as well as they expected, she would not be able to step onto that stage until the end.

Her participation was part of Rocky's plan, and if she didn't get a chance to show her skills on the stage, it would affect his plan as well. But there was no trace of worry in his mind. He had more than one method to let Juey take part in the contest, and the moment that he deemed it necessary, he was confident that he could get her up there. He didn't want to show what Juey was good at prematurely though, as he wanted to amaze the world with a single brilliant feat at a precise time. He had decided early on that he would keep her until the last round, and then she would make her appearance when they were confronting the Qi Clan.

On the second day of the Beast Master Contest, the Qi Clan also defeated their opponents like how a hot knife could cut through butter. They were promoted to the next round, just as Rocky had expected.

Altogether there were eight clans taking part in the Beast Master Contest, the Qi Clan and the Cao Clan only needed to defeat their opponents in the second round, and they could both enter the third round. And that third round would be the final round, where they would confront each other, much to the excitement of the audience.

This final round was the focus of the entire contest, and all people had gathered together just to witness it.

After Rocky saw how well the Cao Clan did on the first day, he was assured that they were going into the final. So he put his heart at rest and didn't show up to watch the contest in the next two days, and instead, he took this time to tour around Timber Deity Empire to collect the blood essence of spirit-manipulated beasts, which he would use to raise the egg.

In just two days, the egg absorbed a lot of the blood essence and developed healthy and strong. It was only as long as half an arm at first, but now it almost reached the height of half an adult man. Rocky was more than excited, and as the egg grew bigger day by day, his heart swelled until he felt like it would burst. He couldn't wait any longer for Uriah to be born once again, and his eyes grew bright with the thought that he would see it again.

There was another reason that Rocky was beaming. After he fed Robin the magic pill last time, Robin experienced a gene mutation, and as the days had passed, it was able to adjust and had gotten used to its new body. More than that, it also showed a vast potential that Rocky couldn't wait to fully see.

He gave it a thorough checkup, and although he couldn't tell exactly what stage it was at that moment, he was sure that it had reached the level of a three-star spirit-manipulated beast. He was surprised to find that Robin's power was increasing day by day, and by the time it could completely control its mutated body, he believed that it should have the power of a four-star beast. It could be on par with Uriah when that time came, and he was excited just thinking about it.

He missed the days when Uriah and Rubygon were around. When they were gone, he felt weak, even if the Rainbow Glow Unicorn was there to help him. The Rainbow Glow Unicorn's power was not powerful enough, and thus he hoped that Robin would be a great help to him in the future, after its mutation.

He held this hope dearly in his heart. He planned to connect with Robin when it was ready, through the use of his spiritual power and the Mysterious Beast Transformation Skill, and then it would be able to fight alongside him.

On the other hand, Rocky was still puzzled by the change that the Rainbow Glow Unicorn had undergone last time, and he was still at a loss why that mysterious soul shadow showed up. The incident caused him to pay more attention to the Rainbow Glow Unicorn after, and he found that it had changed, and the fact that he couldn't figure it out was killing him. He told himself to be patient, even though it barely helped.

In other words, the Rainbow Glow Unicorn was undergoing imperceptible changes at present, and it amazed him to see it. But what these changes were, Rocky couldn't put his finger on them, and he had no way of knowing what had changed exactly.
