Noble Husband At the Door -
Chapter 874
Chapter 874
"Damn it, my heart is itching. Even though I know that I'll be hurt, I still want to ask what's going on.
Quick, give me some advice and let me calm down." Manfred said to Johann with an impatient look on
his face.
Johann couldn't help laughing bitterly. Manfred was also a strange person. Sometimes, the emotions
he displayed were completely inconsistent with his actual age. He was extremely childish and did not
have the style of a boss at all.
"Forget it, don't try to persuade me. No one can stop m e today." Before Johann could say anything,
Manfred had already stood up and walked towards Samuel.
Samuel sat on the couch while Manfred sat on the armrest. He placed his hand on Samuel's shoulder
and asked, "What's the good news? Why don't you share it with your brother?"
Samuel glanced at Manfred from the corners of his eyes and said, "What does that have to do with
you?"
"You can't say that. Aren't I just concerned about you?" Manfred said as he took out a pack of
cigarettes and passed one over to Samuel.
Samuel looked at Manfred in surprise. This fellow's life was in danger. He could only enter and not
leave. After being acquainted with him for so many years, the number of times he took the initiative to
give him
a cigarette could be counted on one's fingers. Yet, he was actually willing to give up today.
"You are really willing to spend some capital in order t o gather information." Samuel teased.
Manfred didn't feel awkward at all. He had long since gotten used to this way of getting along with her.
To him, there was no longer anything embarrassing about it.
"Quickly say it, this cigarette of mine is very expensive." Manfred urged.
Samuel put the cigarette in his mouth. Manfred took the initiative to take out a lighter and lit it for him.
After spitting out a mouthful of smoke, Samuel spat out a faint smoke ring and said, "I'm here to wait for
Yvonne to meet with me in the afternoon."
Manfred's face was filled with pain as he rubbed his chest. Although he had long known that there
might b e some dog food in the bag, he still found it hard to accept the fact that it was right in front of
him.
"Did my sister-in-law take the initiative?" Manfred asked.
"Yes, she sent me a message early in the morning. Maybe she misses me too much," Samuel said
happily.
Manfred sat down on the ground and laid down in a large form. In a hopelessly helpless tone, he said,"
Motherfucker, even though I know that I would eat dog food, why should I ask more?"
All of a sudden, Manfred stood up and snatched away the cigarette in Samuel's hand. He didn't mind
that he had already taken the cigarette. He put it in his mouth and cursed, "The cigarette is for me to
relieve my worries. Why are you smoking? Bastard, why don't you take care of my feelings?"
Samuel could not help but roll his eyes. Manfred was already middle-aged and had not behaved
properly throughout the day. In front of his subordinates, he did not even bother to care about the
image of his boss.
"That's what you took the initiative to ask. What does i t have to do with me?" Samuel said.
Manfred took a deep drag on the cigarette and seemed to be using nicotine to stimulate himself. He
turned to Johann and asked, "You don't have a girlfriend, do you?"
Johann shivered all over and hurriedly said, "No, no, I didn't."
Manfred calmed down a little and said to Samuel," This is a bachelor club. If you have nothing to do in
the future, don't come here. Don't pollute the air here.”
Samuel stood up and tidied up his clothes. He said solemnly, "Manfred, since you want to draw a clear
line between us, shouldn't we put the matter of returning the money onto the agenda? After all, you still
owe me 200 million. If you don't pay me back the money, it won't be easy for us to have a good
relationship."
The muscles on Manfred's face trembled. He had never thought of returning the money. With a
shameless expression, he said, "When did I borrow your money? Do you have any proof? Do you have
a loan receipt?"
After saying that, Manfred turned to Johann and asked, "Johann, do you know when I borrowed his
money?"
