After I bought the medicine, I arranged the medicine accordingly and handed a cup of warm water I got from the pharmacy to the cold-hearted man. Then, I told him, "Take the meds." He fell silent and was as cold as ice. Seeing me shivering from the cold, the driver turned on the heater and handed me a coat. "Madam Roberts, please put on your coat first."

The driver then handed me Hendrix's black tuxedo that he had been wearing. I didn't know when he had taken it off.

I was speechless. This man was really more annoying than a woman.

Seeing that his eyes were still closed while he pinched between his eyebrows, I told him again, "Hendrix, take them. If you don't want to take the medicine, you'll die of pain. I'm exhausted, so I don't have the energy to do this with you right now."

I placed the medicine and warm water on the car seat. Then, I threw his coat on him. I opened the car door to get out of his car.

He grabbed my wrist and asked, "Where are you going?"

"It's none of your business!" I yelled angrily.

"Let's go home!" He said indifferently. Then, the car roared to life.

I wasn't in a rush to say anything. I stared at Hendrix and tried to get him to take the medicine again.

He opened his eyes and his obsidian pupils were bloodshot. I bet he hadn't been able to rest well these days.

He took the medicine without saying a word. Then, he continued closing his eyes and pretended to sleep. The driver was a little confused and asked, "Madam, shall we go to the hospital or...?" "Let's go home!" Hendrix ordered indubitably.

I curled my lips. There was a buzzing sound in my head. "Hendrix..."

"Josiah will be there in a moment," he added in a fatigued voice.

I didn't say anything in response.

It didn't take too long for us to arrive at the villa. It was particularly inconvenient for me to lift the hem of my skirt anytime I had to move. When I got out of the car, I saw that Hendrix still had his eyes shut. The driver stared at me bashfully, as if he didn't dare to lay a hand on Hendrix.

I sighed silently and walked towards Hendrix. "Hendrix, we're home. Get out of the car," I told him.

He opened his eyes and did not move. He just gazed at me motionlessly, and his eyes looked horribly deep.

After staring at each other for a long time, I was finally defeated. I stretched out my hand to him and told him, 'TH help you get out of the car."

He pursed his lips and didn't say anything, but soon, almost half of his tall and slender body was on top of me.

I was holding the hem of my skirt while in heels as I struggled to support him. Since I didn't have the habit of wearing these killer lady footwear, it was quite difficult to walk in them. Having his entire body weight pressing down on me made it even more difficult to walk.

But by the time I spoke to get help, the driver had already left. I had no choice but to help him get into the villa on my own where we had to go around the garden before reaching the bedroom.

For the first time, I felt that having a large house may not be the best of ideas. I stopped for a while and pouted, "Hendrix, can you walk on your own?"

He furrowed his brows and stared at me with his eyes as dark as night. He answered coldly, "What do you think?"

I was at a loss for words.

I reaped what I sowed!

When I finally helped him into the bedroom, I was all out of strength. After I laid him in bed, the first thing I did was to take off my gown.

However, because I moved too fast, I accidentally stepped on the hem of my skirt. A tragedy then ensued.

What was terrifying about the tube top gown was that it was strapless. Once it fell off, all of me was to be seen.

The heavy dress slipped down my legs. I only had some underclothes on me.

This didn't feel any different from being naked. Hendrix set his eyes on me with a mocking sneer on his handsome face. "Can't you wait any longer?"

I was rendered speechless by his remark.

I curled my lips and ignored his dumb words as I went into the closet to get changed. When I came out, Hendrix was no longer in the bedroom. The sound of running water came from the bathroom.
