Chapter 1521 His Future Path

As the dean's words faded, he instinctively glanced into the car and spotted Byron seated inside.

The dean wasn't usually one to indulge in gossip.

But given the magnitude of Byron's event and the fact that Mia was a student at his school, he had gained a general understanding without making an active effort.

"Mr. Crawford?" The dean's surprise was evident as he spoke, his gaze sizing Byron up.

Byron offered a polite yet reserved smile.

Then he involuntarily looked toward Athena.

"Just as the dean said, would you like to take a look?" Athena asked with a gentle smile.

Byron contemplated for a moment before nodding in agreement.

The dean also quickly regained his composure, clapping in excitement. "That's great!"

Then Byron and Athena's car entered the campus through another garage entrance.

Athena helped Byron out of the car.

Observing Byron leaning on his crutches, the dean couldn't help but feel a pang of bitterness.

His exuberant mood was dampened slightly by the realization that, given the scale of the accident, it was unlikely there were no residual effects.

But he quickly adjusted his mood.

"It's right there. Look! It's quite similar to Mia's drawing, isn't it?" The dean pointed to the completed building.

Byron didn't recall such a drawing.

Athena, however, smoothly retrieved a photo from her phone and presented it to Byron.

Byron tightened his grip on their joined hands as he gazed at the picture drawn by Mia and then back at the completed building.

"The resemblance is striking," Byron commented, breaking the silence. "Well done."

"Wasn't much of my effort. Mr. Crawford, with your thoughtful arrangements from the design team to the construction team, everything fell into place smoothly," the dean cheerfully replied.

He was right. Without Byron's meticulous planning, there was no way such a beautiful building could have been completed in such a short span of time.

Subsequently, the dean led Byron and Athena into the building for a tour.

The main structure was in place while the interior was still being set up.

"Here, we'll hang various paintings by the children on this wall!

"This area will be equipped with art supplies and tools!

"And here, we have a multimedia audio-visual room where we plan to screen documentaries about great artists from different eras and countries!"

The dean was enthusiastic, explaining the purpose of each space to Athena and Byron in detail.

"Mr. Crawford, according to your suggestion, the room at the end will be an art studio for Mia." The dean concluded, pointing to a small room with a garden view.

Byron nodded. "That's good."

Byron was less talkative.

So the dean didn't sense anything amiss.

"With your kindness here, I believe that in the near future, our school will not only produce exceptional students but also budding artists!" The dean said emotionally.

"In any case, if there's anything that requires assistance in the future, don't hesitate to ask," Athena added with a gentle smile.

"Sure thing! For the sake of the children's development, I won't hesitate to ask for help," the dean replied with a slightly flushed face. "Oh, by the way, do you remember that competition Paul participated in Yetaly? The results are out, and he won first place! He received a prize of twenty thousand dollars!"

"He already told me," Athena replied with a smile. "As I've mentioned before, you don't need to worry too much about Paul. He knows exactly where his future path lies and is resolutely headed in that direction."
