My Father's Friend -
My Father’s Friend – Chapter 11
-I can’t believe this is happening, how is it possible that my daughter was kidnapped,” Rafael said to himself over and over again, sitting behind his desk while holding his head with both hands.
-Mr. Monroe, we will do everything we can to find your daughter, our men are already looking for clues to find her,” the detective was telling Rafael to try to calm him down.
-I need you to find her, I don’t care what you have to do, but I want you to bring my daughter back alive.
-We’re already working on it.
-Don’t stop working for a single day,” the old man orders, looking up from his misery.
-We will, don’t worry.
But he was already more than worried about his daughter’s welfare, he had no idea where she might be, or who had her in their clutches. Desperation was eating away at him, and at that moment, he remembered when he was at Genaro’s house, he received a call from a police officer informing him that Casey’s car had been found in the middle of the road and that it appeared to have been involved in an accident.
He almost lost his mind when he heard those words, and immediately left the party to go to the address the officer had given him. By the time he got there, he found his daughter’s car with a terrible bump in the back, some b***d splattered on the steering wheel. And if that wasn’t enough, one of her shoes was lying on the ground. It definitely had all the signs of a kidnapping.
He immediately ordered the officers to start searching for his daughter. He felt so bad, thinking about the last conversation he’d had with Casey. That discussion couldn’t be the last thing he and his daughter said to each other, he refused to believe it was. He needed them to find her, to apologise, to let her know that…
-Rafael! -Genaro’s voice caught his attention, the man with no grey hair was entering his home office. I came as soon as I could, it was difficult for me to finish the party earlier.
-Who are you? -asks the officer, stopping the man.
-Easy, he’s my friend. He’s like my daughter’s uncle.
The men give each other a brotherly hug, Genaro pats Rafael’s back wanting to appease a little concern in his friend.
-I’m sure we’ll find her, my friend.
-She’s just a child,” he argues.
-She’s strong, I’m sure she’ll defend herself to the end. We’ll find her, I’ll move my contacts to widen her search.
-Sir, you’d better not get involved in this. Her family could be affected, let us handle this case.
-I watched that child grow up, she’s as much my daughter as she is Raphael’s. Don’t ask me to keep my hands in my pockets, officer.
-Sir…
-Leave it, officer. Genaro West, you have very good contacts, it’s not wrong for you to try to find my daughter by your means. In that case, I was thinking of doing the same thing.
-I only ask you not to interfere with our work, we will install the necessary equipment in your house in case the captors communicate with you.
Rafael nods, the officer walks away leaving the friends alone. Rafael collapses his body on the couch knowing that Genaro is watching him, it was normal that his friend didn’t know what to say to him, he was sure he was going through the same thing. Casey was important to him, he would be just as worried.
-Don’t lose faith, she’ll be fine.
-I need my daughter back, I want her back.
-She’ll be back, my friend, she’ll be back…” Genaro looked at the time on his watch. It’s very late, I think you should get some rest, in the morning I’m sure we’ll hear from her.
-I don’t want to sleep, the truth is that I couldn’t sleep a wink knowing that my daughter is out there having a bad time.
-If you don’t rest, you’ll get sick, it’s not convenient that when Casey comes back she’ll get you in bad shape. You’d better get some sleep, it’s early morning, she’s been missing for a couple of hours. I don’t think we’ll have any news at this hour.
-I’ll stay here,” he proclaims seriously.
-Very well, in that case I’ll stay with you.
[…]The question took Casey by surprise, because apart from not remembering anything about her past, she didn’t know about her own life either. How could she know if she was a virgin or not?
-I don’t know.
-I guessed, come on, let’s go….
That was what I suspected, that girl was one hundred percent pure, that was the only reason Otto didn’t take her out in public. He was protecting her from some inferior purchase, it was very rare for them to bring a virgin girl and even less so when she was of age. At least the wretched Otto was not harbouring underage girls.
His interest in the new girl was in her state of purity, that virginity was sure to bring him a lot of money. But then, that meant that Otto thought… no, it wasn’t possible, he shouldn’t think of that option. That girl had to survive until she was rescued. Serena took her to the kitchen area where there was only the cook who was a chubby old man with a long beard and a disgusting expression.
-You will stay here, you will help the old man.
-What will you do?
-I have to work, child. That’s why I was brought to this place,” he answers sadly.
-Will I see you again?
-In a few hours, you’ll be better off here than out there.
Serena put a hand on Casey’s shoulder, gave her a warm smile, and then walked away, leaving her alone with the old man in the kitchen. The redhead didn’t know what to do next, but one thing she was sure of was that she was grateful she didn’t have to be out there with that bunch of men. Just imagining it made her hair stand up on her body.
[…]The brunette danced on the metal pole seductively, tangling her legs in that metal tube as she subtly slid down it. Eventually, she learned how to use the pole, and ended up dancing better than she expected, even if it wasn’t in the best place in the world.
Nevertheless, she could be dancing looking very focused, but the reality was that she was thinking about this new girl. It was strange, she had never felt that way with any of the other girls. But she was so sweet to him, she was like the little sister he never had. He needed to protect her, and he didn’t know why?
At that she looked up realizing that a f*****g old man wasn’t taking his eyes off her, she mumbled to herself, he would surely ask for her that night and to her bad taste she hated that son of a bitch more than the rest of them. He liked to bite her leaving fierce marks, he was an a*****e.
She looked away as she continued to dance, out of the corner of her eye she watched as the man spoke to Otto and there she knew that this was her death sentence. The bastard was buying her, and judging by the smile on the idiot boss’s face it was more than clear that he was accepting the man’s offer.
Her stomach began to churn as soon as Otto signalled to let her know she had a job after that dance, and all she had to do was smile like she was a cheap f*****g whore. But that was it, or the bastard would hurt her beyond recognition.
Serena nodded and continued to dance as if nothing was wrong, occasionally glancing at the filthy creature who had paid so much for her. Deep in her heart she wanted to get out of there, and it was no longer important to her whether she did it dead or alive.
As soon as she finished her dance, the brunette got down from the stage, rearranging her underwear. She went to the bar to get a drink before going to the f*****g customer who was waiting for her with a f*****g smile on his lips. At the bar, one of the girls pours her a drink and she drinks it immediately.
-Serena,” Erika’s disdainful voice sounded behind her back, the blonde was the oldest in the bar, by the time the brunette arrived Erika already had much more time than her companions, “You got that a*****e, good luck with your nibbles.
-Shut up Erika, you’re nothing but a nuisance.” She ordered another drink and drank it, preferring to be drunk.
-I see the new girl has certain privileges, she hasn’t been out tonight, is she Otto’s favourite? -she asks with an obvious jealousy in her tone of voice.
-Why don’t you ask her yourself? -The brunette turns to face the blonde.
The two of them didn’t get along, ever since she had arrived at that place Erika had let her know that she was the one who gave orders to all of them. And that none of them did anything without her overseeing it first, unless Otto gave the order directly, that way she couldn’t do anything. But they all knew she got pissed off when that happened.
