My Coldhearted Ex demands a Remarriage -
Chapter 92
Episode 92
Elijah’s composure crumbled under the weight of her taunts.
Sliding his hand beneath her blouse, he traced her slender waist before firmly grasping her soft chest.
“Mm—” Her lips parted slightly, releasing an unintentional moan.
He leaned in, cupping her face as his lips hovered inches from hers, ready to capture them.
But suddenly, Sandra’s head spun, her stomach rebelling with ferocity.
A burning sensation rose to her throat, and with an abrupt “ugh,” she couldn’t hold back.
Elijah turned his head just in time, but still bore the brunt of the spray.
The car was quickly consumed by the pungent odor.
Using her sleeve, Sandra wiped her mouth before curling up in the nearest clean corner, slipping into unconsciousness.
Elijah glanced at her serene, yet disheveled face, his expression shadowed with uncertainty.
Was she merely drunk, or did her body instinctively reject him, perhaps confusing him with someone else in her inebriated state?
This wasn’t the first, but the second time she had vomited at such a critical juncture.
The next morning, Sandra awoke to a pounding headache, only to find herself entwined around Elijah like a vine.
The memory of the previous night came flooding back, and she squeezed her eyes shut, wishing the earth would swallow her whole.
A cold voice shattered the silence.
“Stop pretending.
If you’re awake, move.”
Without waiting, Elijah pushed her away, breaking their tangled embrace.
Sandra reluctantly opened her eyes, only to be greeted by the sight of Elijah’s bare, chiseled torso.
While she could question his character, his physique was undeniably flawless.
A sardonic smirk played on Elijah’s lips as he remarked, “Enjoying the view?”
Caught off guard, Sandra replied with a mix of discomfort and defiance.
“Well, you’re right here.
What else should I look at?”
Elijah turned away, rising to get dressed.
His tone was a mix of humor and challenge as he quipped, “I’m starting to wonder if you really want a divorce, or if this is just your way of trying to catch my attention.”
“You’re overthinking,” Sandra replied flatly, averting her gaze.
“I have no interest in you.”
Elijah’s face remained unreadable as he countered, “Who was it that seduced me in the car yesterday and clung to me all night? Wasn’t that you?”
“I was drunk,” Sandra began, stopping abruptly as she realized she was admitting guilt.
Quickly correcting herself, she sat upright and retorted coolly, “If I were seducing you, why would I end up throwing up?
