James! He’s the top CEO in the country; no one wields his level of influence.

Sandra is incredibly fortunate to have his support, under any circumstances.

Elizabeth turned to face her, feeling a mix of emotions.

The notion seemed far-fetched.

Sandra was the one he truly cherished.

Elijah would never stand by Elizabeth’s side with the same devotion he showed to Sandra.

But Elizabeth dismissed the thought with a shake of her head.

“I don’t need to ride on anyone’s coattails.
