Mommy,We Got a Husband -
Chapter 234 Public Display of Affection
"Mom's a real beauty. She looks even better on TV. Those actresses can't compare to her," Harry said. "Not even close. Don't compare them to Mom," Caspian added with disdain.
"Yeah, Caspian's right," Elisa quickly agreed.
"All you do is agree. No original thoughts," Harry teased Elisa.
"I'm just backing Caspian. None of your business," Elisa shot back.
Harry snorted, "Whatever. Let's keep watching Mom. She's about to speak and give an interview."
Elisa chimed in, "Wow, Mom's amazing!"
Stellan and Alaric were being interviewed, and Alaric's eyes were full of love for Stellan.
During the interview, no one seemed interested in the clinic's opening. They were all curious about their relationship.
"We heard Mr. Knight and Ms. Storm are married. Is that true?"
"Yes," Alaric said, holding Stellan close. "We are married."
Given Alaric's status, the woman he married and announced publicly was naturally the envy of everyone.
"When do you plan to hold the wedding?"
Alaric replied, "It's on the agenda. Once we have a date, I'll inform the media."
Alaric's response surprised the reporters. He was already inviting the media.
"Any rough date? Can we look forward to it?"
"Not yet," Stellan answered. "I'll leave it to my husband."
Stellan's response was a clear display of affection. Everyone, including the media and TV viewers, was caught off guard by their show of love.
The women were insanely jealous of Stellan, especially those caught on camera, who looked visibly envious.
Ambrose angrily closed his laptop. They were flaunting their love so openly?
Was this Stellan's and Alaric's style?
But they did it! Flaunting their love to the whole world!
"Mr. Vale, today is the opening of Ms. Storm's Reassuring Clinic. All of Alaric's business friends were invited, except you," Denny said.
Ambrose sneered, "He can't wait for me to finish this project and leave Arizona, never to see Stellan again. How could he create an opportunity for me to see Stellan?"
"So what are your plans?" Denny asked. "This project is almost complete. Will you leave Arizona after it's handed over?"
"Of course not," Ambrose said. "I haven't won Stellan back yet. How could I leave Arizona? Now Alaric is using the project to pressure me, I have to comply. Once the project is done, do you think I'll still be under his control? He expects me to leave just like that? No way!"
"Mr. Vale, you're wise," Denny said. "After Far East International completed this project, our reputation skyrocketed. I've already received invitations from several developers in Arizona. They said they could skip the bidding process and sign contracts with us directly."
Ambrose grinned, "The Nexus Innovations project got a lot of buzz. I owe Alaric for that."
"True," Denny added quickly. "But it's mainly because of your skills, Mr. Vale. You won the bid fair and square."
Ambrose, feeling proud, said, "This is just the start. It's only going to get better."
The interview continued, but Ambrose was too mad to keep watching. Meanwhile, Marigold was fuming after seeing the TV.
"Turn it off! I don't want to see Stellan!" Marigold ordered. "Seeing her makes me suffocated."
The servant quickly turned off the TV. Marigold was getting angrier by the minute. "What kind of spell did Stellan cast on Alaric? How did she make him so obsessed with her?"
"Alaric is talking nonsense to the media, even planning a wedding? I haven't even accepted Stellan as my daughter-in-law, and Alaric wants a wedding? Is he trying to drive me crazy?"
"Ms. Storm is really something. I didn't expect Mr. Knight to be so devoted to her. It's unbelievable," Joe said, equally shocked.
Marigold was too angry to speak, so Joe stayed by her side.
"Where are Caspian, Harry, and Elisa?" Marigold suddenly remembered. "Are they still at the Knight mansion?"
Joe replied, "I think so. With the clinic opening today, there must be a lot of people there. Mr. Knight wouldn't let the kids go."
Marigold ordered, "Joe, come with me to the Knight mansion immediately."
Meanwhile, Caspian, Harry, and Elisa were still glued to the TV. Witnessing Stellan and Alaric's public display of affection, Harry felt goosebumps.
"Good thing we didn't go. We can barely handle it on TV. If we were there, we'd be overwhelmed," Harry said.
"You don't get it. This is romance. Don't you think Daddy and Mommy are like the prince and princess in the fairy tale?" Elisa said and then looked down on Harry. "Forget it, you don't understand romance. Caspian, don't you think Daddy and Mommy are quite romantic?"
Caspian agreed, "Yeah, Elisa's right."
Harry, too speechless to argue, said, "You two shouldn't be siblings. You should be a couple. Look how well you get along. It's a pity you're just siblings."
"Get out!" Caspian immediately growled.
"This is my home too, so I won't!" Harry said stubbornly.
"Caspian, Harry, Elisa."
Marigold's voice came from outside the hall. Caspian instinctively shielded Elisa behind him.
But Harry wasn't scared. He went straight out and said, "Why are you here? Trying to take us away while Daddy and Mommy aren't around?"
