Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 216 Do you Really Not Understand, Harry

"Yes." Alaric exhaled deeply, trying to calm himself. "I dreamt that Cormac fell from a tall building."

"Isn't it said that dreams are the opposite of reality? Although the Nash family incident was a huge blow to Cormac, I believe he wouldn't do anything drastic. Judging from what Cormac has said in the media, although he was deeply affected, he is also very strong-willed. He shouldn't be on the path to suicide, right?"

Alaric sighed, "I'm still a bit worried."

After all, Cormac lost everything overnight, going from a wealthy heir to having nothing. It was just too hard to accept.

Maybe he would come to terms with it with time, but he might not be able to cope during this period.

But now Cormac didn't want to see him, and there were no family or friends around Cormac to talk to him. What should he do? Who else was there?

Suddenly, Alaric thought of someone, and that was Caspian, no, to be precise, Harry, who was playing the role of Caspian.

The real Caspian wasn't that close to Cormac; in fact, Caspian was quite resistant because Cormac was his therapist.

But Harry got along very well with Cormac, and Harry was particularly good at persuading people.

Just then, Galatea's phone rang. It was Elisa calling.

Galatea said, "Hello, Elisa."

"Mommy, where have you guys been these past few days? Didn't you say you would take us out to play? How come you were gone when we woke up?" Elisa asked.

Before Galatea could respond, Alaric quickly took the phone and said gently, "Elisa, something came up suddenly, and Daddy still needs to be busy. Your mommy will take you out to play. I will make it up to you later, okay?" Elisa said, "Alright. We are waiting at home for Mommy. Mia was old, and she couldn't take us far. We want to go to the amusement park."

Alaric said, "Okay, then let Mommy take you first, alright?"

Elisa agreed, "Okay!"

After Alaric hung up the phone, Galatea was puzzled. She quickly asked, "Why did you suddenly ask me to leave? What are you going to do?"

Alaric replied, "I'm still worried about Cormac, but he doesn't want to see me now, so I can't go to him. After thinking it over, only Caspian can go. A child is easier to talk to, and they have a good relationship." Galatea said, "I see. I'll take the kids out to play, and you take Caspian to find Cormac."

Alaric nodded. "Okay."

With everything being so chaotic, it wasn't the best time to explain the identity swap between Caspian and Harry to Galatea.

After that, Galatea took the two kids to the amusement park, and Alaric called Marigold. Marigold had just seen Harry and left Tranquil Valley mansion.

Seeing it was Alaric calling, Marigold was nervous. She didn't know whether to answer or not.

Joe gave her a look, signaling her to answer.

"Hello, Alaric." Marigold's tone was particularly good now.

Alaric questioned, "Where is Caspian?"

Marigold's heart skipped a beat, and she asked, "Why? Did you bring that woman back?"

Alaric continued, "No, there are a lot of things going on recently, so that has to be postponed. I'm asking where Caspian is now."

Marigold snapped, "What kind of tone is that? Are you interrogating me?"

Alaric said, "Mom, I'm not in the mood to argue with you right now. I'll ask one last time; where is Caspian?"

Marigold was about to say something when Joe gave her a look, carefully reminding her, "Don't anger Mr. Knight."

Since this matter couldn't be hidden anymore, Marigold said it even though she was very unwilling.

Marigold said, "At Tranquil Valley mansion. I'll have Joe send you the location. Since bringing that woman back is postponed, don't bother me during this time. I finally feel better, don't upset me again." After saying that, Marigold hung up the phone. If it weren't for finding Harry, Alaric wouldn't have bothered to make this call.

After Joe sent him the location of the Tranquil Valley mansion, he immediately drove there. Due to the exact location, Alaric was sure that Marigold had deliberately hidden Harry, not wanting Galatea to find him. Moreover, since Marigold and Galatea had already met and their conflict seemed to be escalating, their issues would be very tricky in the future.

But now, Alaric didn't have the mind to think about these things; he needed to solve the immediate problem first.

Alaric felt like he hadn't seen Harry in a long time. When he saw Harry, he was still the same as before, lying under a patio umbrella in the yard, with someone fanning him and someone offering snacks, thoroughly enjoying himself! "Daddy? Why are you here?" Harry was particularly surprised to see Alaric.

Alaric smiled. "I missed you, so I came. How's your bone fracture healing? Does it still hurt?"

Harry said, "With over twenty doctors around me every day, treating me, it hasn't hurt for a long time. Marigold just came to see me, and I said I wanted to leave here, but she insisted I stay here for two more days. This place is completely isolated, there's not even cell signal."

Alaric nodded. "Well, you must be feeling wronged. I will take you down the mountain now."

Harry agreed, "Great, I feel like I haven't seen Mommy in a long time. I miss her."

"I'll take you to see her." Alaric carried Harry into the car. After getting in, the driver started the car, and Alaric sat with him in the back seat.

Alaric asked, "How have you been living here?"

Harry answered, "Like a primitive person. It's been fine."

Alaric snorted coldly and asked, "So you feel bored?"

Harry was helpless. "Of course, the environment is good, but being in a completely closed place, how could I not feel bored?"

Alaric continued, "But you have always endured loneliness. No matter what environment you are in, you won't feel bored."

Right, Caspian indeed had a quiet personality. Caspian wouldn't feel bored, but Harry wasn't Caspian.

Harry explained, "I have grown up. I've changed. I didn't feel bored before, but I do now. Is that not okay?"

Alaric smiled. "Really? Then you've changed quite a bit. Your previous illness also healed on its own, and you didn't like to talk before, but now you do."

What did Alaric mean by this? Why was Alaric speaking so sarcastically? Did he reveal something?

Harry asked, "Daddy, why are you suddenly saying these things?"

Alaric smiled at Harry and then directly said, "You should know very well why I'm saying these things."

Harry shook his head. "I don't understand."

"Really?" Alaric then made it clear. "You're so smart. How could you not understand? Right, Harry?"
