Mommy,We Got a Husband -
Chapter 170 Starting His Treatment
Knowing that Harry was Alaric's biological son, if he hadn't run away back then, he wouldn't have ended up with a fractured bone. Without the fracture, he wouldn't have to stay at home all day, being taken care of by Marigold around the clock.
At this moment, Harry was having his meal while Marigold sat across from him, watching him eat, which was suffocating. "Grandma, you should eat too. Don't keep staring at me. It's affecting my appetite." Harry felt like crying at that moment. "Just treat me as if I'm invisible. You eat your food, don't mind me."
Harry was speechless.
"Mrs. Marigold, Mrs. Marigold." At this moment, Joe shouted as he ran in. Seeing Joe come in, Marigold smiled at Harry and said, "Caspian, take your time eating. I will be back in a moment." Marigold finally left, and Harry continued to eat slowly. He had to finish quickly while Marigold was away.
"What's wrong?" Mrs. Marigold asked Joe.
"Mrs. Marigold, I had people check the immigration records for the past year, as well as records of various hotels, inns, house purchases, and rentals, but there's no one named Stellan Storm." "She's in Arizona. Why can't we find her?"
"We really couldn't find her." Joe speculated. "Could she have changed her name?"
"That's a possibility."
"If that's the case, it'll be difficult to find her."
"Even if it's difficult, you have to find her for me." Marigold ordered, "I must find my two grandchildren who are wandering outside."
"If that's the case, we might have to post a missing person notice."
"Joe, you're really confused! My current request is to find Stellan Storm, not for her to find me. Posting a missing person notice would just alert her." Marigold scolded immediately.
"How are we supposed to find her with no direction at all?" Joe was particularly worried.
"Then think of a way, figure it out for me! You can't find Dr. Robert, and now you can't find Stellan Storm. What use are you to me?" Marigold reprimanded. "Yes, I got it. I'll think of something right away." Joe said hastily.
After saying this, Joe added, "Mrs. Marigold, there's one more thing. I heard that Ravenna is critically ill and has been moved to the intensive care unit." "What? Ravenna is critically ill?" Marigold was also taken aback. "Isn't her condition under control?"
"I don't know, and she suddenly became critically ill yesterday."
Marigold thought for a moment and then instructed Joe, "Prepare some gifts immediately. I'll go to the hospital to see her."
Since Ravenna fell ill, Marigold hadn't had the chance to visit her. Now that she was in the ICU, she felt she must show her concern.
As Joe prepared the gifts and Marigold changed her clothes, Harry was particularly happy and asked eagerly, "Grandma, are you going out?"
"Yes, to visit a patient at the hospital."
"Really, that's a big deal. Hurry, I'll behave at home." Harry couldn't wait.
Once Marigold left, he called Caspian and they discussed their relationship. Seeing Harry so happy, Marigold became alert. "You're so happy that I'm going out." Harry immediately became serious upon hearing this, and he had been too obvious.
"No, it's important to visit a patient at the hospital." Harry tried to explain.
Marigold thought for a moment, then instructed Joe. "Joe, take the things to the hospital for a visit, I won't go."
Upon hearing this, Harry was shocked.
So Joe left with the items, and Harry went to kicking himself. Why had he been so excited? This was a disaster.
"Grandma, it's insincere of you not to visit the patient in person."
"It's the thought that counts." Marigold sat down on the sofa and said, "I won't go. I'm afraid you'll run away from home if I leave."
"Grandma, I was just kidding last time. How could I really run away from home?"
"You've run away twice before. It was lucky we found you those times. If you run away again, we might not be able to find you. I can't let that happen." Caspian had run away twice before. None of his business.
Well, he had no choice now.
The only way was to recover quickly, go to school, and get away from Marigold as soon as possible.
Galatea had been waiting for Alaric, and finally, he finished his work.
Seeing that the medical kit for treatment was ready, Alaric knew he couldn't escape.
"I've delegated my work, let's begin."
"At least you're cooperative." Galatea locked the door of the lounge to prevent any interruptions and said, "Lie down."
Alaric obediently lay down on the bed, and Galatea took out a syringe, inserted it into the vial, and administered the medication.
"This medication has some side effects, but everyone reacts differently. I'll give you a test shot first to see how you react before deciding on the dosage."
"I don't understand what you're saying, but I've entrusted everything to you. Treat me in your way." Alaric said.
"Thank you for trusting me, Mr. Alaric. I will ensure you have a healthy body in return for your trust."
Alaric smiled and then calmly said, "Go ahead."
Galatea injected the medication, feeling nervous afterward. If Alaric had a strong reaction to the medication, he would suffer.
The reaction to the medication was indeed significant for Alaric. Shortly after the injection, he felt muscle soreness all over his body, followed by a wave of nausea.
Seeing Alaric about to vomit, Galatea quickly helped him up, but after a while of retching, nothing came out.
"Are you okay, Alaric? How do you feel now?"
"I feel sore all over, weak, and nauseous."
Galatea quickly poured him a glass of water and said, "These are normal reactions to the medication. There's nothing we can do but endure. If you're really uncomfortable, let me know." "I'm fine, it's nothing." Alaric said.
Although Alaric said it was nothing, Galatea felt sorry for him. When the side effects of the medication kicked in, it was hard not to feel uncomfortable.
Just as she was about to say something, she heard Ambrose's voice outside the door.
"Is Mr. Alaric not here today?" Ambrose had come to see Alaric.
These days, he had been watching Galatea's shop from the floor-to-ceiling windows of his house, but Galatea had never shown up.
Ambrose guessed that Galatea had been with Alaric all this time, and Alaric must have had something going on.
"Mr. Alaric is out today and not at the company." Silas informed Ambrose.
"What a pity. Silas, please call me when Mr. Alaric returns." Ambrose requested.
"Mr. Alaric has been very busy these days. If CEO Ambrose needs to reach him, it's best to call first to avoid coming here in vain." Silas advised. "Alright." Ambrose forced a smile.
With that, his gaze fell on Alaric's lounge.
