Chapter 167 This is How it Ended after Galatea Treated Your Mom

"Mom." Seeing Ravenna sitting on the ground, Orion hurried upstairs to help her up. "Why aren't you lying in bed properly? What are you doing out here?"

After Galatea left, Ravenna still felt some strength in her body and wanted to go downstairs for a walk. Unexpectedly, she overheard the conversation between Griffon and Orion. "Is everything you just said true?" Ravenna's voice was trembling as she spoke.

Orion and Griffon remained silent.

"Tell me!" Ravenna knew she couldn't get anything out of Griffon, so she asked Orion sternly, "Orion, tell me, is what I heard true?"

"Mom, I know I was wrong." Orion regretted it now, especially regretting. "When I heard that Marigold had found a woman to have a child with Alaric, my mind exploded. And when the doctor said Alaric showed signs of waking up at that time, I was confused for a moment. I had no choice. If Alaric woke up and found out he already had a son and the child's mother wasn't me, he would definitely go to the child's biological mother and not want me anymore. I really had no choice, so I asked Dad for help."

"So you bribed the doctor and tampered with the DNA results at that time?"

"Griffon, how could you be confused like her? The Nash family and the Knight family are like one family. How could you do such a thing?"

"Mom, I know I was wrong, but the one who started it all was Marigold Rogers from the Knight family." Orion kept pushing the blame away. "The Nash family and the Knight family are already connected. Marigold Rogers went behind our backs to find a woman to have a child with Alaric. She was the one who made the mistake first, so we can't be blamed."

Initially angry and already feeling guilty, Ravenna became even more furious upon hearing Orion's words.

"How can you say that, Orion?"

"What else should I say? It's true. The Nash family and the Knight family being like one family is nonsense. Marigold Rogers never treated me as her daughter-in-law, so I don't need to show her any mercy." Orion said emotionally. "Forget about the Knight family's matters, what about Galatea? "Enough, Ravenna, your health is not good. Don't worry about these things." Griffon said impatiently. "Forget what happened today."

"I already know. How can I pretend I didn't hear it? How could you do such a thing, causing such harm!"

Griffon turned away without saying a word, letting Ravenna cry, while Orion wanted to comfort her but didn't know how.

"You've scolded and cried, let this matter pass. I've also told Galatea, she doesn't need to come anymore, I'll find you a new doctor." Griffon said.

"Do you think this matter can just pass like that?" Ravenna was already feeling guilty and remorseful. "We can't do this. Griffon, you have a good relationship with Mr. Knight Senior. If we die and can't explain to him what we did, it will be a problem."

After saying this, Ravenna picked up her phone to call Alaric and said, "I'll call Alaric. We'll apologize to him properly, and he will forgive us."

"Mom!" Seeing Ravenna about to call Alaric, Orion quickly took her phone away.  "You can't call Alaric, you can't!"

"Orion, if we've made a mistake, we shouldn't continue down that path." Ravenna pleaded tearfully, trying to take her phone back. Griffon, in anger, snatched the phone from Ravenna and threw it on the ground. "No! Just focus on getting better. You're not allowed to worry about anything else!" Griffon scolded.

Griffon then walked out, leaving Ravenna truly angry. She pointed at Griffon and shouted as he walked away. "Griffon, you're ruining Orion, not helping her."

"Mom!" Ravenna suddenly felt short of breath, as if she couldn't catch her breath, the words she wanted to say stuck in her throat.

"Dad, come quickly, Dad!" Seeing Ravenna like this, Orion was truly scared and quickly called Griffon back.

Griffon, seeing Ravenna in such a state, was also frightened and immediately called for an ambulance.
