Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 164 Caspian, Your Mom is a Bad Woman

"Mrs. Marigold, there's a twist!" Joe rushed back to the Knight family mansion to report to Marigold after questioning Aminta. Seeing Joe in such a frantic state, Marigold's heart skipped a beat.

"What's happened now? Don't beat around the bush. Just spit it out." Marigold impatiently asked.

"Mrs. Marigold, I went to ask Aminta Thorn, who assisted in Stellan Storm's birth back then. Can you guess what she said?" "Don't waste time guessing at a critical moment. Speak!" Marigold reprimanded.

"Aminta Thorn said Stellan Storm didn't die. Not only did he not die, but she also visited her to inquire about the child."

After Joe finished speaking, Marigold felt like she was having a hallucination.

"You're saying Stellan Storm didn't die!" Marigold couldn't believe her ears. "Aminta claimed that Stellan and the two children were all dead."

"Yes, everyone thought they were dead at the time. Since you showed no intention of saving them, the hospital gave up as well. But then someone claiming to be a relative of Stellan came, begging desperately. Aminta had no choice but to try. Miraculously, Stellan's life was saved."

"Stellan Storm didn't die!" Marigold felt like her entire understanding had been overturned, her body went weak, and Joe quickly helped her sit down.

"What about the children? Are my two grandchildren still alive?" Marigold anxiously asked.

"They were all saved at that time."

Upon hearing this, Marigold was overjoyed, laughing excitedly and murmuring to herself. "My grandchildren are still alive! That's wonderful, absolutely wonderful." Given that her past mistakes had led to the deaths of the children, Marigold had been deeply distressed. Learning that they were alive was a tremendous relief. "Mrs. Marigold, what should we do next?"

"We need to find them quickly!" Marigold couldn't wait for even a minute. "My poor grandchildren have been wandering for so many years. Once we find them, we must compensate them well. They've suffered a lot during these years." Thinking about the hardships her grandchildren endured, Marigold felt their pain as if it were her own. "I'll send someone to find them." Joe quickly said.

As Joe was about to leave the hall, Marigold suddenly remembered something and called out, "Wait a moment."

"What's the matter, Mrs. Marigold?"

"You mentioned that Stellan Storm went to inquire about Caspian with Aminta?"

"Yes, Aminta couldn't keep it to herself and told Stellan that you had taken Caspian away from the hospital."

"So, Stellan is now in Arizona, searching for Caspian."

"Probably."

"No, something's wrong." Marigold's expression turned fearful as she looked at Joe. "If Stellan didn't die, why did it take six years for her to come back and look for Caspian? Could she have been plotting revenge all this time, trying to take Caspian away and then find ways to retaliate against me?"

Joe didn't dare to make any assumptions.

"I wrongly accused Stellan back then. She must hold a grudge against me after saving from death, right?"

At this point, Marigold's mind was filled with nightmares, imagining the terrifying look of hatred on Stellan's face.

"That's true." Joe could only speak the truth. "After all, Stellan was innocent. Mrs. Marigold, you wronged her and almost caused her death. Anyone would hold a grudge against you."

Upon hearing Joe's words, Marigold became even more anxious and convinced. "Over these six years, she must have been biding her time, meticulously planning to come back and seek revenge. Not only to retaliate against me but also to take Caspian away. It must be like this."

"Mrs. Marigold, don't scare yourself. It might not be as you think."

"I nearly killed Stellan. She must hate me deeply." Marigold forced herself to calm down, pondered for a moment, and then instructed Joe, "Send someone to find Stellan Storm. Once you locate her, don't alert her immediately. Follow her to find out where my grandchildren are, then bring the children back to me. Once all three children are with me, she won't be able to do anything."

"I got it, Mrs. Marigold. I'll go right away."

After Joe left, Marigold couldn't shake off her unease and regret.

"It's all because of that DNA test. I must have lost my mind to go and check that DNA!"

Marigold deeply regretted her actions, but she could not turn back. It was too late for regrets.

If blame had to be placed, it could only be on Stellan's unfortunate fate!

Marigold took a deep breath. She realized it was time for Caspian's class to end after checking the time.

Due to his injury, Harry couldn't attend school, but his studies couldn't be neglected. They had hired a private tutor to keep up with the school curriculum.

After the teacher left, Harry stretched and relaxed. Having one-on-one lessons with undivided attention was more exhausting than attending school.

"Class is over." Marigold said as she helped Harry lie down on the sofa, expressing concern. "Caspian, with your fractured bones, does it hurt to sit through the lesson? If it does, next time, we'll learn lying down." "I'm fine, my butt can handle it."

"But I am worried. Studying is important, but your health is more crucial. When you're growing, you can't take a risk with your body."

Harry was speechless. He feels suffocated about Marigold's indulgence.

"Alright, Grandma, you can leave. I need to study now." Harry picked up his book and began reading.

When Marigold thought Caspian wasn't her biological grandson, she couldn't stand him. But now that she knew he was her real grandson, the more she looked at him, the more she liked him.

Her increasing fondness for him made Marigold fearful of her current state.

"Caspian." Marigold approached Harry with a particularly pleasing smile. "How do I treat you now?"

"Good, almost like you want to swallow me, always keeping me close."

"Caspian, I truly regret how I treated you before. Now, you are my everything, and I can't lose you."

As she spoke, Marigold moved closer. "Even though Grandma made mistakes before, I have changed now. I am better than your mother, who ran away right after you were born. She's a bad woman. If she ever comes back and tries to take you away, you mustn't go with her. Bad women will corrupt you."

Marigold's doting on Harry was evident, but speaking bad words of Galatea made Harry lose his patience.
