Mommy,We Got a Husband
Chapter 137 Harmony, Love, and Warmth

Harry clearly sensed that Alaric's emotions were different from usual. After asking a question and receiving no response, Harry worriedly asked, "Dad, are you feeling unwell? If your health isn't good, you should stay in the hospital until you recover. I'll be worried if you don't take care of yourself."

Even though he was Harry and not the real Caspian, he had been quite angry with Alaric before. But seeing Alaric sick, Harry was genuinely concerned.

Seeing Harry's anxious expression, Alaric affectionately patted Harry's head and smiled, saying, "Dad is fine now; I just misses you so much."

"Really?"

"Of course, if I weren't well, why would the doctor allow me to leave the hospital?" Alaric's tone towards Harry now was infinitely gentle. At this moment, looking at Harry, Alaric felt he owed him too much.

"It's good that Dad is fine." Harry breathed a sigh of relief. "You startled me before."

Alaric smiled faintly, then looked at Harry and apologized sincerely, "Caspian, Dad has been busy with work all this time, spending little time with you. Mrs. Marigold and Orion haven't treated you well, making you suffer. I was wrong to force you to treat Orion as your mother. I didn't consider things from your perspective. I apologize to you."

Upon hearing Alaric's words, Harry was stunned, or rather, he was shocked.

His body instinctively took a step back, and then he asked anxiously, "Dad, why are you suddenly telling me this? Do you have a terminal illness, or do I?"

Scenes like this usually play out on TV. Alaric couldn't help but laugh at Harry's question and said, "I swear neither of us has a terminal illness. It's just that during my time in the hospital, I reflect on myself and feel I had done wrong." Harry didn't know how Caspian had been treated at home before, but during the time he had been impersonating Caspian, it was true that only Alaric had been kind to him.

"It's good if you can change. Since you've already apologized to me, I can only accept it." Harry wasn't a petty person, even though he wasn't the one being apologized to.

"I knew my Caspian was the best." Alaric then asked eagerly, "It's been a while since you had Dad's cooking. What does Caspian want to eat?"

"Dad, you just recovered from the hospital. How can I bear to let you cook for me? Dad is the patient, and I'm a responsible man. I have to consider Dad. I'll do it!" Harry said excitedly. Alaric had already witnessed Harry's cooking skills before, so there was no problem with Harry's cooking.

"Great, you're the head chef, and I'll assist you. Shall we do it together?"

"Sure! Father and son working together, nothing could be tiring!"

Harry busied himself in the kitchen with a sense of purpose while Alaric assisted him, creating an atmosphere of unprecedented harmony and affection.

They prepared a simple meal, but because it was made by father and son together, it tasted especially delicious. After cooking, Harry and Alaric sat down to eat together.

"Dad, have you seen Mom recently?" Harry felt like he hadn't seen Galatea in a long time.

"She stayed with me at the hospital last night." Alaric said, "She's rented a shop recently and plans to open a clinic, so she's busy with renovations."

"Mom is opening a clinic?" Harry was excited to hear this news but also a bit angry that Caspian didn't tell him in advance!

"Yes, Galatea is starting a business."

"If Mom starts a business, will she still focus on love?" After so long without news, Harry couldn't figure it out. "Dad, are you and Galatea going to get married?" "If I marry Galatea, will you be very happy?"

"Of course!" Harry's eyes lit up at the thought. Elisa would be the happiest, finally fulfilling her dream of being a princess.

"If I marry Galatea, then Harry and Elisa will naturally be my children. Can you get along well with them?"

"Of course!" Harry quickly added, "I'm too lonely by myself. I love having siblings. With Harry and Elisa, I won't be lonely anymore."

The previous Caspian was particularly reclusive and didn't like making friends, but now he seemed more cheerful and readily accepted Harry and Elisa.

"Great, since you like Harry and Elisa so much, next time I'll take you to meet them." Alaric smiled.

When Caspian and Elisa meet, Harry and Caspian will be face to face.

"We don't need to rush to meet Harry and Elisa. Dad, marry Galatea first. I can't wait any longer."

"Alright." Alaric agreed readily.

After dinner, Alaric took Harry out to play some ball, then read with him, helped him bathe, and tucked him in bed.

"Time to sleep, Caspian. I'll take you to school in the morning."

"Okay, Dad. Goodnight." Harry had been showered with care by Alaric that day, and he expressed his satisfaction.

After Harry fell asleep, Alaric carefully collected a strand of hair with the hair follicle as Cormac had instructed. He then covered Harry with a blanket, gently closed the door, and left his room. Back in his room, Alaric called Galatea, who was about to go back home.

"Why are you calling me when you're so busy? I thought you had no time today." Galatea hadn't wanted to disturb him since Alaric had mentioned being busy.

"I'm going to the office tomorrow. Today, I was just dealing with some household matters."

Although Alaric's tone sounded natural, Galatea immediately sensed something was off and asked, "What's wrong? Did you have a fight with Mrs. Marigold?" "Galatea, you're amazing. How did you guess that?"

"You said you were going home to talk to Mrs. Marigold. Your tone just now didn't sound right. Did you have a serious argument?"

"It's just that Mrs. Marigold is too controlling, always wanting to dictate my life. I don't want to be controlled by her. It's a contradiction I've long been accustomed to her control. What about you? Are you still at the shop?" Alaric inquired. "Yes, I'm just about to finish and head home."

"Why are you still out so late?" Alaric reproached her. "I've told you before, that street is full of troublemakers. It's not safe for you to come home so late. Wait there, I'll come pick you up."

"No need, you have work tomorrow. Go to bed early tonight. Didn't you arrange for a car for me? I already called James Smith, and he's on his way." Galatea advised.

"Alright, keep your phone's location on. I want to make sure you get home safely."

"Got it." After saying goodbye, Galatea got into the car that had arrived. "The car's here, I'm getting in. You go to bed early."

"I'll only sleep once you're at home."

"As you wish." Galatea smiled sweetly with a hint of helplessness, then hung up and got into the car.

It wasn't until the taillights had completely disappeared from view that Ambrose lowered his binoculars. He had observed every expression on Galatea's face just now. Her smile was happy and sweet. And that car was specially arranged by Alaric.
