Miss, My Father loves you -
Chapter 243 Having Dinner With Lyman
In the following days in Cannon's, Daryl pretended to obey Karla's teachings, but in fact, she only chose those important things to study carefully. She just looked through those knowledge that had nothing to do with her. Almost the day before they left, Karla took Daryl out. "Karla, where are we going?"
Sitting in the car, Daryl asked.
In fact, Daryl was really afraid that Karla would sell her to a human trafficker.
Karla smiled, "I want to take you out to meet someone." "Who is it?"
"Jazlyn."
Hearing this, Daryl was confused. "But why should we go to see her?"
"She heard that you have been in our house for so many days and is worried about you, so I want to take you out to see her, so that she can rest assured." Said Karla.
"I see."
Daryl nodded.
She always felt that this thing was not that simple, but she believed that only when she saw Jazlyn could she know the reason. After about half an hour's driving, the two of them finally stopped outside the Queen Hotel. "Let's go. They should be inside."
"Okay."
Daryl followed her into the hotel.
Karla led her to the hotel staff and soon went to Jazlyn's private room.
"Oh, Daryl, you are here!"
In the private room, Jazlyn greeted Daryl with a smile as soon as she saw her.
"Jazlyn."
Daryl walked to her with a smile.
"Good girl, how are you doing in the old house these days?" Jazlyn pulled her to sit down and asked with concern, "Did my brother make things difficult for you?"
"No, everything is fine."
Daryl said gently, feeling warm for her concerns.
"That's good."
Jazlyn nodded with relief. "Although Zack and Bennie are with you, my brother is stubborn. I'm afraid that he will bully you!"
"No, he didn't."
Daryl smiled. How could Cannon have the energy to make things difficult for her and Zack? He had been sent to the hospital because he was pissed off by them. Karla sat aside and listened to the two people's conversation. Not long after, she chinned in, "Jazlyn, where is Lymie? Didn't you say that he would come?"
"Oh, Lymie just went out to answer the phone. He will come in soon."
Jazlyn replied with a thin smile.
Knowing that Lyman was here, Daryl felt much more relaxed.
Before long, the door was pushed open from outside and Lyman came in.
"Karla."
When Lyman came in, he gave a hint to Daryl with his eyes, but he still politely greeted Karla.
He asked his nephew and knew why Daryl was in the Ji family. Benjamin wanted to make Daryl his mother, so the family wanted Daryl to stay there for a few days.
Maybe they wanted to make sure that she didn't have any bad hobbies and didn't know whether she could be the godmother of Benjamin. It was not surprising at all. After all, she would be the godmother of the young master of the Ji family. No one could be careless! After thinking it through, Lyman didn't feel curious anymore.
"Well, I haven't seen you for a long time, Lymie. You are more and more handsome."
Karla praised him with a smile.
Jazlyn pulled his son to sit down and said politely, "Thanks. But he has never been serious in his life or work."
In fact, it's rare to see such a straightforward young man like Lymie now. Last time when we went back, Melany said that she had a good impression on him."
Karla looked at Lyman with satisfaction.
"Really?"
Jazlyn picked up the tea cup in front of her and took a sip. Then she said with a faint smile, "Lymie said that there was no big change in the last blind date, but he seemed to be interested in the girl who was sent to the hospital later."
Hearing this, the smile at the corners of Karla's mouth froze slightly. "Really? Is Lymie going to be with that girl?"
Daryl was keenly aware that Karla tried her best to make a match between Lyman and Melany, but Jazlyn had already used Sofia as an excuse!
Thinking of this, she couldn't help but look at Lyman on the other side. She wondered what had happened with her eyes.
Lyman had promised that he could solve the problem by other means, but why did Sofia get involved?
Lyman gave her a gloomy look.
Daryl took back her gaze and kept this question in her heart silently.
"Of course not."
Jazlyn replied after what Daryl and Lyman did.
"At present, Lymie is in the process of pursuing her. I think that girl is a little hesitant because she cares about Lymie's past. You know that. He didn't have a serious relationship before and used to hang out with girls for fun." "Young people like to have fun." Karla said with the same smile, "But Lymie should be more careful when choosing a wife."
"Of course. But his father and I will respect his decision.
Jazlyn declined her and said, "He is an adult now. I can't make a decision for him."
"Yes."
Karla nodded. Then she looked at Lyman and asked with a smile, "What about the girl you are chasing now? Are you sure you can win her heart?" "What?"
Before Lyman could react, they had already talked about him.
He paused for a moment and then said, "Well, it seems that things are going pretty good at present, and she should have a good impression of me!"
Lyman said the last sentence shamelessly from the bottom of his heart.
After all, he thought he was such a handsome man. No woman would not fall in love with him.
Except for Daryl. No, Daryl was just like a tough man in Lyman's eyes!
"If that's the case, I have to congratulate you in advance."
Karla continued with a smile, "You can take her with you at our family's centennial banquet. We are a family."
'Whatever. I... Lyman was about to say that he didn't care, but before he could finish his words, his mother stepped on him. He stared at her with his eyes wide open.
Jazlyn gave him a serious expression, in case Lyman would muddle through.
Lyman became a coward in an instant. He said honestly and seriously, "I will bring her here then."
"That's good."
Karla nodded.
"All right, all right. Why are we only chatting here? The dishes can be served now."
Jazlyn said with a smile and pressed the bell on the table. Soon, a waiter came in with food.
