“Their worlds were different. One was made for the skies, and the other for the cage. But they fell in love. Even after many efforts, the sky bird couldn’t live in the cage, nor could the other one soar in the skies. But their love never diminished.” Tiara said and wiped her tears in pain because, unlike the story, Theodore never loved her, nor did he put any effort into their bond with her, even though their world was different.

“What nonsense!!” With that Colton disconnected the call and sent her the number of Wylder.

Tiara saved his number and after battling for a while, she sent a text.

[Tiara: Free on weekend?]

She waited for his response but it didn’t come in the next half hour. Feeling dejected, she returned back to her shoot to resume it.

“Until when are you going to keep that long face?” Zahir asked his new Alpha, who had taken over the pack a year back. He was hoping to become the Alpha of the pack, but then he lost to Wylder in the match in order to appoint the right Alpha of the pack.

In the beginning, not everyone was happy with Wylder’s becoming the Alpha, as no one knew a thing about him. Also, he was a half-wizard. But Wylder won everyone’s hearts with his sweet and kind behavior. Unlike other Alpha, he was cheerful and easily approachable. He was someone who didn’t use to scare everyone with his aura even though he was powerful.

“It’s a girl, isn’t it?” Zahir asked again.

“It’s my personal life, Zahir,” Wylder said, making rules for the Omegas of the pack. He never liked the omegas were treated just because they were weak. “Go through the rules with Eliam that I’ve made for Omegas and let me know if I need to change any point,” he added.

“I thought we were friends.” Zahir emotionally blackmailed him and mind-linked Eliam to the office. “Ah. I see; you’re thinking of making them mentally strong if not physically.” He said, going through the plan. Unlike other packs, omegas wouldn’t be only serving Alpha or higher-ranked wolves. In fact, he had planned a foolproof plan to educate Omegas, and it was a mandatory rule.

And whatever pay those Omegas used to receive by working as a helper or low profile job. Wylder was planning to pay the double amount if they would study hard.

“Aren’t you investing a lot more in them than required?” Zahir asked.

“They are my people, and if I won’t think about their better future, then who will? Those who love cooking can take the professional crash course of culinary, and there are many courses out there which can help them in the future.”

“The planning is good, Alpha, but there are some Omegas who love to work as a helper, you know,” Eliam said, walking inside the office after taking a shower. They both knew he was busy f*****g someone. Since Zahir had already mind linked with all the updates so that he wouldn’t miss anything.

Wylder narrowed his eyes at him, “I used socks while f*****g them. So, don’t worry, my illegitimate pup won’t be seen running in the next couple of years.” Eliam joked, raising his hand.

“And no, I didn’t force anyone. There are horny she wolves like me who can’t control until they find their mate.” He grinned.

“What do you mean ‘anyone’?” Zahir asked him suspiciously.

“Three!! It was so much….”

“Remind me, why are you my Gamma, Eliam?” Wylder said, cutting him in between. Wylder knew that Eliam was great in his work even though he wasn’t fond of his lifestyle.

“I thought you liked my jokes, Alpha. But for the last two weeks, you have started getting irritated with the fact that I’m getting laid every night, and you’re not. What and who got into your skin, Alpha?” Eliam teased Wylder, on which he grabbed his phone from the table and threw it at him in anger.

Eliam caught the phone and laughed. Accidentally he ended up clicking the side button of Wylder’s phone.

[Ara: Free on the weekend?] Eliam read the message.

Not that he was planning to, but it just caught his eyes. Wylder always had her number, but he never dared to call her or send her a text.

“Oho!! Some Ara is asking ‘Free on the weekend.’” Eliam said, widening both Wylder’s and Zahir’s eyes. Wylder didn’t know how to react, but the very first thing that he did was that he pounces at Eliam to snatch his phone from him.

“Oh, my Moon Goddess!!”

Wylder didn’t care who spoke that and saw the message. It was real. She had really texted him. He had received that message four hours ago. Damn, he wasn’t fond of using the phone and missed this message.

F**k!!

He opened his phone and started to think about what to message her. Zahir looked at him and then at his phone. To Wylder’s left, Zahir was standing, and Eliam was on his right.

“Yes.” Wylder typed and quickly deleted it. “Excuse me? Who is this?” he again deleted it.

Both his important hands watched their Alpha acting like a f*****g teenager, smiling from ear to ear.

“You’re not free. Remember, it’s my birthday?” Eliam spoke on which Wylder glared at him before typing the message.

[Wylder: From where you got my number?”] With that, he clicked on the sent button. He waited for a while to receive a message from her, but it didn’t come. The fact that she made an effort to get his number made him smile.

“Maybe she is busy,” Zahir said when Wylder kept looking at his phone for five straight minutes.

“Who is she?” Eliam asked with a glint of amusement in his eyes.

“If she ends up saying YES to me, then your future Luna,” Wylder admitted with a smile on his face. The person who had been gloomy for the past two weeks was now glowing like a star after receiving just one message from her.

“We want the detail,” Eliam said.

“No way!!”

“Come on, Wylder. We will keep our mouths closed. Hell, I will not share this with my mate. This will be our thing.” Zahir suggested.

“No!!”

“Come on, Alpha. Until you receive her message, you can share with us about her to kill time.” Eliam said, hitting Wylder’s arm. When he glared at him, Eliam pouted like a girl.

“Stop doing that, for Moon Goddess’s sake,” Wylder exclaimed and waited for a couple of minutes more in the hope of Tiara’s message, but it looked like she was busy. “Fine!! I will tell you both; it started when her grandpa…
