Mated To Big Brother-in-law Chapter 30
Chapter

"Sophia Berge," I replied, shaking my hand with him.
"Nice to meet you," he said to me with a grin.
He looked like a happy guy to me. He was not as serious as his Alpha was. It was good. At least a
few officials were not that moody like their Alpha, including my brother.
You
I must I have seen me in the club that night."
His words reminded me of where I had seen him. He was the one who told me that someone was waiting for me, and I ended up meeting Bryan on Sara's birthday night. "Oh, yes," I
Imumbled. Imumbled.
But why did he do that did he do that? I wanted to ask him. But before that, the door of the CEO's office pulled open, and Lily came out of the room.
She looked at me, and then her eyes shifted to Edgar. She slightly bowed to him and turned her attention back to me.
"Return to your work," she said, and she started to proceed to her cabin.
I nodded at her and began to follow her since my cabin was on the way.
"Can I have some time of yours?" Delta Edgar asked me, which halted Lily's steps.
Lily turned around as she thought Edgar was talking to her.
"I was talking about her." Edgar cleared up her confusion.
Lily
was surprised, as she could not understand why the delta of this pack wanted to talk to me.
But she gave him a nod.
"Sure."
sure.
Then she continued to walk to her office like a professional woman.
"Can we walk?" Delta Edgar asked me.
I agreed and started to walk with him. I did not know where we were going. As usual, others were looking at me.
"Why did you do that?" I asked him.
"I did what?"
ו"י
I to bear meeting your Alpha. He misunderstood me that night."

looked away from him when I heard about Bruce. I believed Edgar also thought that I was a liar since he was Bryan's friend.
"I was drunk that night. It was my first time drinking," I explained as I started to stroll again.
"By the way, I wanted to tell you about your brother."
It halted my steps, and I asked, "Do you know about him? How is he?"
He frowned at t me. "Does he not call you?"
"He does. But I know him. He will never tell me about his problems. Is he okay there?"
"It looks like you are a good sister," he said, smiling at me. Then he continued,
"He is a very hard-working man. He is our gamma for a reason. He is the main warrior, and Bryan
is trying to train him in the best way possible."
I was surprised to hear him. What I thought was that he was punishing me and making my brother stay away from
me.
"So that means it was for his own good?"
"Of
f course. What did you think? You are not the reason behind it."
Suddenly, the heaviness in my heart that I had been holding for the past six months left my heart.
All this time, I was thinking that it was a kind of punishment, and because of me, my brother was away from me and my mother.
"As officials, we always have to prepare for war at any time. So, if our gamma is not well
prepared, how can we move forward to take any action in battleground?" Delta Edgar remarked. I realized why Bryan told me six months ago to wait for repayment. It was because he had not asked for anything yet. He only helped my brother all the time.
"He is not a bad guy
"I mumbled to myself about Bryan.

Delta Edgar laughed when I felt embarrassed. I did not mean to say that out loud. "He is not a bad guy, but he is a dangerous man. No one can move a bit without his permission here. So I hope you
will do I do your best to o be in his good books."
As I heard him, I felt like it was an alert for me. I paid no attention to his warning and replied,
"I don't know about good books, but I will work hard in his company, that's for sure. By the way, thanks for letting me know about my brother."
After taking my leave from him, I headed to my cabin.
The moment I entered, I was stunned as I saw so many files loaded on my desk.
But when I left, there were only a few files there.
Lily came to my cabin and said,
"You have to work on these files."
"But there are too many. I only joi-"
"Do you I want to stay here or not? Is there any rule to give you less work just because it's your
first day?"
Her harsh tone made me upset. Why was she being rude to me? Did I somehow offend her? "Sorry," 'I murmured, then sat on my chair.
I started to walk when she left my cabin. I was not a lazy person. But it looked like she gave me all of her work.
It was late afternoon when my mother called me. I told her that I would come late today.
I focused on my work. I was shocked that Lily even gave me some work that employees of the accounting department should do.
It did not take me more time to understand who made Lily do that.
I remembered that Lily was in Bryan's cabin. He might be the one who told her to give me as much work as she could.
'It's just my first day, and he is doing this to me. How will I survive in the future?'
