Stefan was good with men, but he had a hard time with women. He clumsily avoided the lady, moving like a shy schoolboy trying to avoid her grasps.

As the chaos escalated, Raegan quickly rolled down her car window and yelled, "Stefan, leave her alone!"

Seeing Raegan's intervention, the lady, full of fury at having been mocked, charged at Raegan with ferocious anger.

Stefan remained calm as long as he could, but finally lost his patience as he watched the lady charge at Raegan. With lightning speed, he grabbed the woman and threw her roughly against the asphalt.

The woman fell to the sidewalk, flailing and screaming, “Murderer!

"They are murdering me."

Stefan frowned. That level of hysteria was new to him.

Suddenly, the air was split by the loud sound of sirens.

The woman on the ground let out a high-pitched scream, jumped to her feet, and glared at Raegan. "You called the police," he accused.

Raegan nodded, unfazed. “Yes, using your phone.”

The lady flew into a rage, realizing that Raegan had been secretly flagging down the police this entire time!

The lady's cheeks turned red and her blood pressure skyrocketed. This scam he had been running with his son, which targeted luxury cars due to the distraction of their owners, had never gone wrong until now.

He had even taken care to educate himself about the different brands of luxury cars to choose his targets well. The owners of these luxury cars were often too worried to worry about anything less than a few thousand dollars.

"Good! I will tell the police that you and your friend attacked me and my son. “I will make sure you regret it,” the woman snapped.

His son, who was still on the ground holding his head, groaned. "He hit me... He hit me..."

Raegan leaned forward, a smile on her lips. "Do you really think you can fool everyone when there's a dash cam recording everything?"

The lady's face paled. “A dashcam?” How could he have forgotten? Nobody had ever questioned her.

They had always paid without question, so it had never occurred to him. Now everything fit. That explained Raegan's calm. Raegan had counted on this from the beginning.

The police had jumped out of their cars and were handcuffing the woman's son faster than she could react.

The man, completely oblivious to the situation, smiled as he was taken away.

The lady shouted: «Oh, my son! "They take you."

Hearing this, the man began to struggle wildly. Foam formed at his mouth as if he were having a seizure.

The police were surprised and radioed for an ambulance.

When everything calmed down, the woman had disappeared without a trace.

Raegan couldn't believe her eyes. The woman had abandoned her son and fled the scene.

After police put the man into the ambulance, they asked Raegan for a brief statement.

"We are investigating, ma'am," said one of them. «We've already gotten some leads on these guys. The problem is that people hesitate to report them to the police and by the time they do, they are nowhere to be found. But you have done very well.

Raegan was proud of her contribution. He hoped his actions could prevent others from being scammed.

«Also, that lady had fled, but I recorded her with my dashcam. The video is quite clear. "It might help you," Raegan added.

"Thank you," the agent responded.

When the police had left, Stefan gave Raegan a thumbs up. “You handled it very well,” he said.

Raegan smiled. "What brings you here?" he asked.

«I just finished a seminar. I head back downtown Stefan looked at the flat tire on Raegan's car, barely attached. «Where are you going? "I can give you a ride."
