Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 509
? ? ? ? ?
She wanted to deny it, but her body betrayed her, confirming her longing. Shame washed over her like a wave. How could I react to him?
Before Raegan could reflect further, Mitchel pressed his lips against hers, silencing any protests.
«Raegan, trust me. I can make you feel good…” As he spoke, he gently grabbed her wrists, lifting them above her head, and ran his cold lips down to the bottom of her earlobe.
Raegan surrendered, her resistance crumbling under his touch. Just as Mitchel had promised, he granted her an experience like no other.
At that moment, satisfaction washed over Raegan. Surprisingly, this experience brought him genuine joy, momentarily overshadowing all other concerns. For the first time, he had forgotten to think about the complex dynamic that existed between them.
Afterwards, Raegan lay exhausted, unable to muster the strength to move.
It was not her effort, but Mitchel's tender care, that left her exhausted, yet strangely satisfied.
She felt like she had been hit by a truck. His body ached, his strength was exhausted and the discomfort persisted.
Mitchel and Raegan were drenched in sweat and the air was thick with the lingering scent of passion.
Mitchel wrapped her in a tight hug and kissed her softly. He longed to merge her into his being, to never be separated from her again.
Raegan was so close to him he could barely breathe.
Feeling the heat radiating from him, she also felt a subtle tremor running through her body.
"I'm very happy, Raegan," Mitchel said with a trembling voice, his excitement palpable.
Raegan was speechless. Then, he remembered her words and decided to believe them. Mitchel had waited faithfully for her for five years, never straying with another woman.
But what could that prove? When the passion faded, reality would appear again, even more complicated than before. She wasn't sure she was ready to forgive him. I was simply delighted with his tactics. And he enjoyed every moment.
Regaining some strength, Raegan patted his firm arm and said, "I'm going to go take a shower."
Regret tormented her. Why had she gotten involved with him again? All he wanted to do was stand under the cascading water and contemplate his next move.
Mitchel didn't give Raegan a chance to shower alone. With a tender touch, he stroked her nose and said, "Okay."
Then, he lifted her off her feet and headed to the bathroom.
“Ah!” Raegan protested, "Put me down."
There they were, both of them without clothes, and Raegan felt uncomfortable not knowing where to place her hands.
"Let me help you." Mitchel placed Raegan on a towel-covered counter, quickly filled the tub with water, and lowered her into it.
Raegan realized that she had fallen into Mitchel's feigned fragility.
He didn't look fragile at all. Especially in private, his stamina was amazing.
Raegan lay in the tub, watching Mitchel move. He decided to close his eyes. Eyes that do not see, heart that does not feel, he thought.
After the bath, Mitchel led Raegan to a bed with freshly changed sheets. The soft, crisp sheets felt comfortable as he settled in.
Mitchel kindly suggested, “You can rest. "I'll go take a shower."
He never left his clothes on at night. Clean clothes were brought last night.
The sound of running water filled the bathroom and Raegan felt a headache developing. Mitchel must have misunderstood. He thought she had welcomed him into her life.
When Mitchel emerged from the bathroom, dressed, Raegan was primed and ready to clear the air. "Mitchel, I need to be clear."
Mitchel saw Raegan's unfriendly face and felt like something bad was about to happen to spoil her mood. He lowered his gaze. "What's happening?"
«That doesn't mean anything. We are adults. Please don't get the wrong idea."
Mitchel looked up, his eyes filled with sadness. "A wrong idea?"
Raegan knew she looked like trash on that stage. But she wasn't sure if it was just a fleeting impulse. Unable to decipher his heart, he decided to distance himself from the relationship until his feelings were clear.
«It was just about satisfying needs. Please don't make too much of it,” Raegan added calmly.
Mitchel felt like his heart was in a vice. It was agonizing.
His expression tightened and his eyes filled with anguish. Is that how you see us, Raegan?
Raegan noted the genuine pain in his demeanor. However, the remnants of previous wounds lingered in his heart. Although Lauren was no longer a problem, another woman, Katie, had set her sights on Mitchel, despite her clear disinterest. There were too many women chasing Mitchel.
The possibility of meeting another crazy woman like Lauren tormented Raegan. How could she be sure that history would not repeat itself?
Call her fragile or indecisive, but her fears were real. She had become very cautious. She had become insecure.
With her thoughts organized, Raegan's voice was firmer and she said, "My stance hasn't changed. "It is you who is wrong."
The room fell into a heavy silence.
Raegan felt an icy tension engulf the room.
The next second, Mitchel kissed her unexpectedly. He hugged her firmly and caressed her head with his hand as he began a deep and fervent kiss.
Raegan's eyes widened and her thoughts scattered. He was kissing her again!
Raegan tried to push him away, breathing hard. "Mmm... Mitchel..."
This kiss was passionate and full of longing.
It lasted five long minutes before Mitchel finally let go of Raegan.
Raegan's face turned white and without a second thought, she raised her hand and slapped him.
Then Mitchel's face bore the mark of his hand, with five red fingerprints standing out starkly. He didn't dodge or stop her, allowing her to release her frustration.
