Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 293

Jamie was livid about this.
Bang! The sounds were thunderous as Jamie tore apart his room, smashing furniture and electronics in a fit of rage.
Exhausted, Jamie collapsed to the floor, her heart racing with anxiety.
Jamie had noticed Jarrod's growing indifference towards her. Jarrod's visit to Nicole the night before her wedding only intensified her fears. It seemed like he was going to continue having an affair with Nicole even after they got married.
Deep down, Jamie knew that Jarrod's feelings for her were more obligation than love. But what if Jarrod ended up discovering that she wasn't the one who had really saved him then? How would you treat her then?
Jamie vividly remembered Jarrod's cold and ruthless behavior toward Nicole.
Unlike Nicole, who shared a past with Jarrod, Jamie had deceived Jarrod from the beginning.
The sense of duty that bound Jarrod to her seemed to weaken.
His compensations and his avoidance of discussing having children with her were indicative of his desire to reduce her to a mere figurehead in the Schultz family.
Jamie could accept it. After all, Jarrod's wealth was more than she could ever spend.
However, the possibility of Jarrod finding out that Nicole was the one who saved him back then terrified Jamie.
Consumed by fear, Jamie retrieved her phone from the floor, dialed a number, and gave a chilling order: "During the wedding tomorrow, send the information."
At that moment, Jamie's eyes flashed malevolently, like a scorpion sitting in a pool of poison.
She was determined to finish Nicole off.
At the Oasis apartment, Nicole had finished packing, ready to leave tomorrow morning.
He had kept his promise, staying at the Oasis Apartment until the last night before Jarrod's wedding.
After taking a shower, Nicole checked her father's health indicators for the day.
Everything seemed stable.
The renowned surgeon Jarrod had hired was scheduled to consult with his father tomorrow, with plans to schedule the operation.
This doctor's success rate was remarkably high, so Nicole felt hopeful about her father's upcoming operation.
The operation was scheduled for the day after tomorrow at two in the afternoon. His father would attend the farewell of the Lawrence Group tomorrow morning.
As the Lawrence Group was closing, Nicole's father, concerned for his long-time employees, wanted to say goodbye to them personally.
With such a busy day ahead, Nicole decided to go to bed early after taking a shower.
The door rang open.
Jarrod walked in and saw a suitcase in the living room. He felt frustrated seeing her.
Nicole was really ready to go.
He opened the bedroom door and saw Nicole's silhouette on the bed.
This only increased his irritation.
Ironically, whether he got married or not, Nicole didn't seem to care.
She seemed happy, oblivious to the events around her.
Jarrod silently undressed and climbed into bed next to her.
Nicole, half asleep, thought she was still dreaming when she felt Jarrod's presence. He had taken a sleeping pill to ensure a peaceful night for the busy day ahead.
His mind was still confused.
Turning around, he saw Jarrod's face close to his. He thought he had seen him in his dreams. His expression was one of clear displeasure as he muttered, "Ugh!"
How could he see that demon even in his dreams? It was really bad luck.
Jarrod's expression darkened at her reaction.
In a punishing gesture, he gave her a hard pinch that made her shudder.
Nicole's eyes snapped open, and when she realized it was Jarrod pinching her, her confusion turned to anger.
“Jarrod?” Realizing it was him, he became enraged.
How could he be in her bed on the eve of her wedding?
Frowning, he asked, “Why are you here? Our agreement is over, right?
Their agreement had been clear. It would end when he got married.
He regretted his habit of not locking the bedroom door, a necessity due to Jarrod's previous behavior. Closing it only led to theft and punishment.
Reluctantly, she had stopped closing the door so he could enter easily.
I had no choice. After all, this was his home.
If it weren't for the fact that I needed medical assistance from him, I would have kicked him out a long time ago.
Nicole's eyes flashed with revulsion, which only fueled Jarrod's anger.
Jarrod turned around, gripping her chin firmly, his voice filled with suppressed fury: Am I married yet?
Nicole was speechless.
Then he began to take off her pajamas.
Nicole was horrified by his audacity.
"Stop!" he cried, struggling. "Do not touch me!"
But Jarrod, tense and determined, held her, preventing any movement.
Desperate, Nicole headbutted him.
Bang! Nicole used all her strength, her head throbbing with pain.
Jarrod stopped, a sinister smile on his lips.
"You're quite a fighter, right?" Jarrod commented coldly.
He stood up and lit a lighter, the blue flame of which cast shadows across his chiseled face.
With a cigarette between his lips, the collar unbuttoned exposing his collarbone, he exhaled smoke. Are you trying to cancel our agreement?
“What the hell are you talking about?” Nicole, perplexed and in suspense, fixed her gaze on him.
