The more Nicole thought about it, the more nervous she became.

Jarrod must have been crazy. Jamie was in the car next to them. How could he do this to him? He didn't even treat her like a human being.

Suddenly, Jarrod's phone on the seat vibrated.

Nicole breathed a sigh of relief at this distraction, especially when she saw that it was Jamie who was calling.

When Jarrod's grip loosened, Nicole took the opportunity.

He hit the wound hard with his elbow.

Jarrod hissed. His face contorted in pain.

Finally he let her go. Nicole quickly pushed him away and hid in a corner.

She gasped a little and looked at Jarrod with her beautiful eyes full of complaints.

"There are six days left," he said.

Jarrod frowned at her. Nicole continued: "Jarrod, there are only six days until your wedding. After that, you will no longer be able to humiliate me.

In six days, Jarrod and Jamie would be married.

They had an agreement that after Jarrod got married, all of their contracts would be void.

Jarrod said nonchalantly, “I have reasons to marry Jamie. But I definitely don't love her.

His words made Nicole shudder. He looked at him as if he were looking at a lunatic.

"What the devil? Jarrod, are you crazy?

Nicole was taken aback. Why was Jarrod saying such ambiguous words to him?

Nicole was no longer a teenager. Jarrod's advances made her uneasy.

His confession, far from being sweet, left her disconcerted.

As Jarrod was about to speak again, Jamie arrived.

Getting out of the car, Jarrod and Jamie exchanged a few words by the car.

Jamie's anger burst into tears. He glared through the car window.

Nicole caught snippets of their conversation, something about an apology.

Maybe Jamie was hoping she would apologize personally.
