Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 279
? ? ? ? ?
Exhausted and in pain, Nicole collapsed, her body shaking uncontrollably.
The constant tapping was the only thing I heard.
Clutching a knife, Nicole crouched in a corner, her vision blurred by tears, praying that the police would hurry.
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard.
The door gave way under the force of two bodyguards.
They quickly entered and helped Howe to his feet.
Howe screamed in pain. When the gag was removed, he pointed at Nicole and shouted, “Get that bitch! He had called the police. We have to clean up this mess and get out.
Hearing this, Nicole summoned her last energy and rushed towards the door, quickly descending the stairs.
The bodyguards chased her.
The front door was wide open.
As soon as the bodyguards unlocked the door in response to the alarm, they inadvertently left it open.
This sparked a ray of hope in Nicole, who quickly ran towards the door.
Suddenly, she bumped into a sturdy figure and felt arms wrap around her waist.
The glaring sun made her squint, and when her vision cleared, she screamed in fright at the sight of Jarrod.
In one swift movement, she stabbed him with the knife she was holding.
“Ugh…” Jarrod groaned in pain.
Nicole was overcome with fear. Her recent experiences had put her on edge, causing almost instinctive reactions.
He stabbed him again, the sunlight reflecting off the bloody blade.
Jarrod gripped Nicole's wrist so tightly she felt like it was about to break.
"You're crazy!" he screamed, blood oozing from his wound.
Howe, drenched in blood, ran after them, his eyes lighting up as he saw Jarrod.
«Jarrod, look at the mess he's made of me. Grab that bitch! "Don't let it slip away."
Nicole quickly realized that they were working together.
His eyes widened in shock and fear as he screamed, “Let go of me! Let me go!
