Raegan was a little upset. Mitchel was already sweating profusely from the pain. How could he still care about her answer?

He didn't say he wanted to reconcile with her. Instead, he said he wanted to meet her.

In fact, they could only be together without estrangements if they both left those bad memories behind.

Raegan got up, took a quilt out of the closet, and put it on the bed.
