Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 1406
Chapter 1406:
? ? ? ? ?
Alec was speechless. Once free, he swore revenge on Jemma for this setup. How infuriating!
Meanwhile, by the car, the moonlight illuminated Nicole, casting Jarrod's melancholy face in an eerie light.
This caused a visceral reaction in Nicole. She began to resist vehemently, pushing against Jarrod. “Get away from me. Get away…Leave me alone. Idiot.”
Nicole fought fiercely, trying to free herself. “Let me go. Idiot..”
Jarrod's grip on her chin was firm, silencing her. “Do you want me to leave?” His voice was icy and menacing. “Then what?”
«So… Her head pounding, Nicole muttered, “I just… don't want you to… go… get lost!”
“Who do you want to miss?” Jarrod's eyes were cold and piercing.
Despite her disoriented state, Nicole seemed surprisingly lucid.
«You, Jarrod Schultz.. Bastard.. Go away!»
If it weren't for Nicole's slurred speech, Jarrod might have believed she was completely sovereign. She said his name with surprising clarity.
“Only you…” Jarrod grabbed his chin, his voice cold and firm. “Only you dare to speak to me like that.”
Every woman who approached Jarrod usually did so with flattery or fear. Nicole, however, always seemed to challenge him.
Despite her moments of lucidity, it was clear that Nicole was not entirely sovereign. She stammered, “Go away… Go away… Go away…”
Jarrod’s expression darkened with irritation. “You want me to leave? So, are you going to find one of those male escorts to sort out your condition?”
Nicole and shook her head erratically, her words and actions beyond her control.
"Just not you...Devil...Bad man!"
Jarrod's tone turned icy. "If he really was the bad man you say he is, do you think you'd still be here?"
Those who crossed paths with Jarrod tended to disappear, yet here was Nicole, boldly provoking him. He had no patience for a pointless argument with an incoherent woman outside the club.
“Get in the car!” Jarrod ordered.
Nicole resisted, struggling against his hold.
Losing patience, Jarrod threw her over his shoulder.
“Oh. Let me go… Bastard.” Nicole's attempts to break free from her grip were weak, barely perceptible.
Silently, Jarrod placed her in the backseat of the car, following her and securing her hands behind her back with his tie.
“Mmm..” Nicole’s protests were resisted.
