Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 125
? ? ? ? ?
The tall, thin hooligan pulled Raegan by the hair and slammed her head against the wall again and again.
For a moment, Raegan felt like the world was spinning around her and her soul was detaching from her body.
Blood oozed from his head. Raegan didn't know if it was just blood. He feared that his skull had split open and that his brain was splattering everywhere.
Finally, the other thug stopped the tall, thin thug, letting Raegan fall to the ground almost unconsciously.
«Are you crazy? We're only here to fuck her, not kill her! Murder is a crime. "Don't do anything stupid."
The tall, thin man finally came to his senses. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and exclaimed, “Damn it! "This woman has gotten under my skin."
«Enough already. "Let's get to the point."
The other thug glanced at Raegan, who was lying bloodied on the ground, and murmured, “Look, ma'am. Don't hate us for being brutal.
We're only here for money. The real villain here is your good-for-nothing husband who left you stranded. If he had been there for you, we wouldn't even have this chance. It isn't true?"
Raegan was speechless, unable to refute his twisted justification.
But they were right. The person she loved most had left her alone. Who else could I blame?
She only wished she hadn't fallen so blindly in love with Mitchel when she was still young and ignorant about love.
She had loved him so much that she even sacrificed her dignity.
One sweet gesture from him, and she would forgive him every time.
Maybe he deserved it. In a way, she asked for it. It wasn't anyone else's fault. It was only his.
In this world there are no second chances to fix things.
At that moment, the two men clapped their hands together, eager to tear Raegan's clothes apart.
"Fuck off!" Raegan shook her hands in apparent disgust.
However, he was so weak that his action only bothered the hooligans.
The tall and thin hooligan slapped her across the face and pinned her to the ground.
«How dare you defend yourself? "I'm going to fucking kill you."
As soon as he said these words, he kicked him hard in the chest.
Raegan writhed as excruciating pain emanated from the spot of the kick. For a moment, he felt as if his body was no longer his. The pain was so unbearable that I couldn't even move my fingers.
The tall, thin hooligan raised his foot to kick him again, but the other stopped him.
"Idiot! If you keep kicking him, how are we going to have fun?
Raegan lay curled up on the floor and watched as the two approached and squatted in front of her.
Desperation enveloped her like seaweed spreading from the dark, boundless sea as it enveloped her tightly, preventing her from breathing.
His eyes, once bright, now seemed empty.
Was she prepared to end like this?
Suddenly, he felt something move in his belly. Could it be your imagination?
No, I was sure. The baby had just moved. It was as if her unborn child was sending her a message, urging her not to give up.
Raegan snapped back to reality and bit her tongue hard. The taste of her own blood, rich and metallic, along with the sharp pain, brought her back to her senses.
He felt his fingers again. He picked up a piece of broken glass from the floor and slashed the tall, thin thug's hand.
Instantly, blood gushed out of her.
"Damn! You will pay for this, witch,” he roared and lunged at her like a wild animal.
But Raegan, with fierce determination in her eyes, pressed the glass to her own neck and warned, “Stay away. "I'm serious."
The tall, thin thug stood motionless for a second.
Raegan seized the moment and shouted in a voice rough with desperation, “If you come any closer, I swear I will. "I'll kill myself right here."
«Oh, do you want to die? Forward".
Raegan had made up her mind. Without hesitation, he stabbed the fragment into his neck, and suddenly, blood was everywhere.
The sight was so shocking that even the hooligans stood still, suddenly questioning their sanity.
Raegan could feel the life force leaking out of her as the blood drained from her body. Struggling to regain his breath and strength, he spoke with great effort.
"I am pregnant. If I die, you will have taken two lives from me, not just one. When they catch you, and they will, they will sentence you to death!
"Damn! “That woman never mentioned this!”
The thought that Raegan might lose her baby and her life along with it flooded the minds of the hooligans.
They hadn't signed up for this level of brutality, all for a mere fifty thousand dollars, orchestrated by Tessa.
They realized the seriousness of the situation. If they were caught, they would pay with their lives.
The gravity of Raegan's words hung in the air, making the two men hesitate. Suddenly, money lost its appeal when compared to the weight of their lives.
Seeing his doubts, Raegan seized the moment and added, "If you want to make up for your sins, this is your chance. Give me your phone number.
"Why should we give you the phone number?"
Without a word, Raegan pressed the crystal deeper into her flesh, causing more blood to flow.
Seeing this, the tall, thin hooligan relented and handed over his phone.
With one hand gripping the glass and the other trembling, Raegan dialed a number.
«Hello, I have been kidnapped, but I don't know where I am. Can you trace this call? Please... You have to hurry. I'm pregnant and my baby..." Raegan choked on sobs, tears streaming down her face.
After a long pause, he continued: «Something is wrong with my baby.
Please, you have to save my son.
His vision began to blur and a white fog clouded his vision. The figures of the two hooligans distorted and blurred in front of her.
However, he struggled to remain calm and even pressed the crystal shard tightly against his neck. Only then could he ensure that he was conscious. My hand was so numb that I couldn't feel the pain, no matter how deep the cut was.
He was painfully aware that if he fainted, it would be the end of him.
She had to stay awake at all costs.
Soon, a voice on the other end of the line responded, “Miss, we have located your position. Please make sure your phone stays on.
Help will arrive shortly..."
Raegan breathed a sigh of relief and continued, “Please hurry. "I need to make another call."
Then he summoned all the energy he had left to dial another number.
But, to his disappointment, the call was not answered.
"Sorry, the subscriber you dialed is not available at this time. Please leave a message after the signal,” the automated response said.
A bitter smile crossed Raegan's face. By now, Mitchel had probably saved Lauren. He was probably comforting his frightened lover, leaving no time to respond to her call.
With all the strength she had left, Raegan spoke a message in a hoarse, trembling voice: “Mitchel, if my baby and I don't make it out of this, please bury us next to my grandmother's grave. And don't worry about us crossing paths in the afterlife. "I will pray to God that our paths do not cross again."
Tears ran down her face, mixing with her blood in a shocking spectacle.
Suddenly, Raegan's body convulsed. He doubled over and vomited a large mouthful of blood.
Terrified by the spectacle, the two hooligans lost all interest in raping her.
The tall, thin hooligan turned to the other and stammered, “Is he going to die? Is he going to die?
"I think so. What a stroke of bad luck! Let's get out of here."
They rushed to the door, pushed past Tessa, who was about to enter, and began a desperate flight.
Tessa tripped and fell. She was perplexed by the hooligans' behavior and tried to make sense of what had just happened.
«Why do you run away? "Have you finished the job?" he shouted after them.
«Take care of it yourself. We don't need your dirty money. “That woman is dying,” one of the hooligans shouted.
Tessa frowned. As he ran in, his heart sank as he saw Raegan, still clutching the glass, her eyelids barely open.
Tessa's eyes then landed on the phone on the floor, and everything fell into place.
Those two idiots must have smuggled the phone in.
Furious, Tessa grabbed a chair and raised it above her head.
"Bitch! Do you think you can be smarter than me?
Bang! A loud crash filled the room.
The stool made brutal contact with Raegan's head.
Raegan saw it coming, but was too weak to dodge it.
In an instant, half of his face was stained with blood.
Tessa screamed curses furiously, but Raegan couldn't make out a word. His head was filled with an incessant ringing.
And, little by little, he felt his soul slipping away.
He watched, as if from afar, his body collapsing to the ground, lifeless and soaked in his own blood.
Was this the end?
«My poor baby, don't be afraid. Mom is going with you…” he whispered weakly.
