“Sorry. I’m busy.” After a brief command, he hung up. Michelle held the phone weakly.

He just ate lunch and then went back to his office to keep busy. But all the while, that strange number kept calling her.

She didn’t answer.

“Michelle, the CEO has asked you to prepare the documents for the meeting later.” The door was opened. He was the well-mannered assistant.

Head bowed, Michelle held a document in her arms and said in a very serious tone, “I see.”

The assistant, as if sensing her bad mood, didn’t want to leave, but asked worriedly, “Michelle, you don’t look well. Are you all right?

“Don’t worry. Maybe I didn’t sleep well last night. “Michelle shook her head with a smile, indicating that she was fine.

The assistant had no choice but to leave with a hollow smile. She still remembered that the last time she’d rejected him, she’d felt very upset. But now they worked in the same company and they were together all the time. What’s more, they had the same boss.

Being a friend was also a good option as they couldn’t be a couple.

He opened the door to the CEO’s office with the ordered documents. He saw Scott’s handsome face frown, his dark eyes fixed on him like a fierce eagle seeking its prey in the dark night, focused and serious.

“Don’t worry, maybe I didn’t sleep well last night. “Michelle shook her head with a smile, indicating that she was doing well.

The dentist had no choice but to smile back. She still remembered that the last time she had rejected him, she had felt very upset. Months later, they were in the same company and they were together all the time. What’s more, they had the same boss.

Being an boyfriend was obviously a good option, but they couldn’t be a couple.

He opened the door to the CEO’s office with the relevant documents. He saw Scott’s face frowning, her dark eyes fixed on him like a ferocious eagle searching for its prey in the dark night, focused and serious.

But she was so terrified.

He held up the document and picked it up carefully, like a child who has been wronged.

Scott closed the file tightly and couldn’t help laughing. “Well, am I scared?”

After a while, Michelle came to her senses. She shakes her head and leaves the files on Scott’s desk.

She looks back at the man and is about to turn and walk away.

“Wait!” When he heard Scott’s voice coming from behind, he immediately stopped and stood there like a wooden man.

“President, go ahead.” Michelle turned and said respectfully.

This made Scott laugh again. He casually picked up a document and seemed to read it carefully. The air was becoming uncomfortable. She didn’t know why she was doing this.

“You haven’t finished lifting my suit for so long, have you? As he beaded, Michelle looked at him and realised that he was regretting the document. It looked like she was saying it casually, which chilled him.

Suddenly she was so terrified.

He held the document and approached it carefully, like a child who had been wronged.

Scott closed the file in his hand and couldn’t help laughing. “Well, am I scared?”

After a while, Michelle came to her senses. She shook her head and left the files on Scott’s desk.

She looked at the man in front of her and was about to turn and leave.

“Wait!” When he heard Scott’s voice coming from behind, he immediately stopped and stood there like a wooden man.

“President, go ahead.” Michelle turned and said respectfully.

This made Scott laugh again. He casually picked up a document and pretended to read it carefully. The air was becoming uncomfortable. She didn’t know why she’d done this.

“You haven’t finished washing my suit in so long, have you?” As he spoke, Michelle looked at him and saw that he was looking intently at the document. It sounded like she was saying it nonchalantly, which chilled her.

“Boss, I’ve lost this coat. ” It was a fact. He couldn’t lie about it since he’d lost it. That was his mistake too.

But apparently when he heard the news he wasn’t angry. “It doesn’t matter.”

“Boss, deduct some money from my salary.” He took a few more steps, bowed his head and apologised.

Scott didn’t look at her but said nonchalantly, “It doesn’t matter. It’s just a coat. “

Michelle wanted to say something, but when she saw Scott’s serious look, she suppressed the words she wanted to say.

After entering his office, he couldn’t help but stare out the window. Then he pulled out a chair and sat down. Looking at the screen in front of her, she was suddenly lost.

He didn’t stop until it was out of order.

When she left her office with her bag, she discovered that the front office door was closed. She didn’t know if Scott was still there. She stood patiently in the doorway. He didn’t leave before checking that there was no noise inside.
