Love Enveloped In Lies -
Episode 42
If it wasn’t for patience, Michelle couldn’t help but surrender. Why should I? She wasn’t one who could be summoned to her home.
Finally, he went out to buy another plate of porridge. But this time it was a communal congee. I knew Scott wasn’t used to street stalls, so this plate of porridge was specially bought from an upmarket restaurant. It cost tens of dollars!
After lunch, Scott finally calmed down. However, it was nearly midnight and Michelle had to get back to work.
“What are you going to do?”
As he was about to turn and leave, his wrist was grabbed again, but apparently much harder than last time.
“I’m going to work.” Not daring to look at Scott’s face, Michelle tried to pull her hand away, but women were never as strong as men.
Scott wouldn’t let her go. Instead, he hugged her tightly.
Although she was still stunned, he kissed her. His brain went blank and he completely forgot that he had to do everything he could to avoid her.
He kissed her so carefully that he wouldn’t hurt her.
Suddenly Scott was pushed away without paying attention, while Michelle covered his mouth with one hand and her eyes still glistened with tears. Scott closed his eyes, waiting for the painful attack, but then he heard the sound of the door opening and closing. He suddenly opened his eyes, but she wasn’t in the room.
After running out of the hospital, Michelle was standing under the roof, panting heavily. The k**s was like a burning fire. He could even hear her heart beating so fast, so fast that her chest hurt.
“Michelle, are you okay? Why is your face so red? “When he returned to the company, the first thing he received was a greeting from the assistant.
Through the glass, Michelle discovered that his face was as red as cooked lobster.
“Oh, maybe to get a tan.” Now I could only say that. After all, it was very bright outside.
Thankfully, the assistant didn’t say anything else after that. At the same time, Michelle resumed her post and began her work. She had been distracted all afternoon. Sometimes his hand touched her lips, where he could still feel her.
Even she was curious as to why she hadn’t hit him this time. But now she didn’t want to think about it. After work, the assistant said he wanted to take her home and she hadn’t said no.
Since he’d had a ride, he didn’t feel like waiting for the bus.
When they reached the community gate, Michelle opened the door and stepped out as usual, expressing her gratitude to the attendant. It was still light outside, so he didn’t want to go home now. She sat down on the community bench.
There was no telling how long she’d been sitting there.
“Michelle, why don’t you go home? Why are you sitting here? “It was Aunt Lucy who lived upstairs.
He looked in the direction the voice was coming from and saw that Aunt Lucy was carrying two large bags of food. It looked like she had gone to the supermarket to buy again today.
“Oh, I’m feeling a bit tired after work, so I’m taking a break here.” Michelle smiled amiably. Aunt Lucy said nothing else and simply asked him to come home early. Then he turned and left.
