He had never expected to be present on such an occasion. Especially the feeling that someone was watching her made her nervous.

She stood there like a stump, in a quandary.

The only person I knew in the room was Scott. But Scott had already had a lot to drink. He’d forgotten all about her.

But the middle-aged man grabbed her arm and pulled out a chair, inviting her to sit down. It was hard for her to refuse such a kind offer, so she had to accept it.

But before her h**s touched the chair, Scott suddenly grabbed her wrist. He used a little force and she fell onto the empty seat next to him. By this time she was really sore and uncomfortable.

At the moment people just looked at her, then pretended nothing had happened, carried on drinking and eating.

She looked at Scott and sat there like a wooden woman. Seeing this, the middle-aged man, who was waiting outside the room at the time, fell silent, although he thought it was a shame.

Scott was so busy managing his dinner that he paid no attention to how Michelle felt.

However, not as nice as Michelle, she was already starving. Especially when he saw the dishes on the table, the desire to stay away from food was fighting in his heart. She didn’t know how much she’d swallowed.

“Let’s eat if you’re hungry. We came here to drink, so we can’t eat much. ” Until Scott’s voice came out of her ear, Michelle stared at him. But as far as Scott was concerned, he was swallowing wine right now.

I was afraid I wouldn’t make it home tonight.

It seemed like everyone in the room was male, but there was only one woman. Michelle didn’t know why everyone hadn’t brought their secretaries or assistants with them, but Scott insisted on doing so.

She didn’t know what she was thinking.

Although Scott said she could eat these dishes freely, she was still embarrassed. So he didn’t eat anything and just drank a few mouthfuls of water.

But just as she thought, Scott was drunk anyway. Not just him, but everyone at the table was drunk. He looked at Scott and found him lying on the floor. She stood up. When he was about to walk, someone was holding his body.

I was really terrified at the time. She was shaking, trying to free herself from him. But no matter how hard she tried, it was in vain.

“Let me go! Let me go!” But he was already drunk, so he didn’t take what she said seriously.

Just when she thought it was going to end tonight, he got up and walked quickly over to her. In one fell swoop, she knocked over the middle-aged man behind her.

Michelle was slow to react. She was still stunned. He took a few steps back when he found Scott falling into her arms.

Wasn’t he drunk?

Why did he know she was caught in the dilemma right now?

There was only one thing, and that was that he had saved her at the most critical moment.

“Scott …” He lowered his head and looked at the man in front of him. It was very heavy. If he kept doing this, she probably wouldn’t be able to take it. Finally, she called the shop’s waiter for help.
