Love Enveloped In Lies -
Episode 12
In Michelle’s eyes, Scott was definitely a heartless leader, and he was very sassy about getting things done. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have sorted out so many things on his first day on the job.
But after thinking about it for a moment, Michelle decided to take the documents she’d been dealing with and leave. After all, time was very short and he only had a morning to finish all the work. It was impossible for him to do it.
If you didn’t want to earn money to support your family, you also wanted to live a carefree life like those rich, wealthy second-generation women.
“Oh, the president’s gone. I came to ask you to lunch. You’re new here and don’t know much about the company, so I want to get you acquainted. “
Only when he heard the assistant’s words did he breathe a sigh of relief. But this was the first time he’d met other people in the company. What would she say if people from the company saw her following the assistant?
“Good.” After all, he’d been here before her. It would be rude if she rejected him.
The staff canteen was on the third floor of the company.
After the assistant, it was the first time Michelle had seen the restaurant of a large company. She thought it would be just like it was when they were at school, holding the plate in line and waiting for Auntie to pick up the food.
But now, the situation was completely different from what she had imagined. It was a menu famous for Chinese and Western cuisine, as well as desserts. When they entered the restaurant, there was a long table covered with Chinese dishes.
“I must say, big business restaurants are really different from other cities.” She sighed, her eyes filled with disbelief.
“Yeah The same reaction as yours when I came to work here. “
The assistant looked at her and handed her a white porcelain plate. Michelle looked flattered. “Thank you.”
When they were dining, she felt several people staring at her, making her uncomfortable.
The sumptuous food was tasteless.
Now all he wanted was to leave.
After lunch, led by her assistant, Michelle got a general idea of the company as a whole. But since I was only the CEO’s secretary, I didn’t have to go to any other floors.
Half past two in the afternoon.
Sitting at the desk, Michelle continued working. A few hours later, the words in the documents were gradually erased. His head ached and he frowned.
“Oh, when is this going to stop?” After sitting at the computer for three hours, Melisa closed the last file and stretched.
She raised the mug on the table and was ready for a drink of water. After all, she’d been busy all afternoon and had a dry mouth.
Strangely, she didn’t see a water source in the hallway.
I wanted to ask the assistant where there was water to drink. As he walked to the door of the assistant’s office, the clear glass showed that no one was inside.
It was 5:40 in the afternoon. Logically, it shouldn’t be out of order now.
Shrugging his shoulders, he abandoned the idea and headed for his office. It was time to hand the files to your boss on the desk.
“CEO … … “
Opening the door to the president’s office, he discovered that no one was there. He looked around to make sure no one was there before heading for Scott’s desk. Then, carefully, he placed the documents in his arms.
