Love Comes To Me
Chapter 486: Almost didn't keep the baby

Eloise couldn't help but curl her lips too, feeling overwhelmed with happiness at this moment.

And the scene fell on Marian's eyes.

She stood by, just feeling out of place, trying to laugh along but unable to do so.

Staring at Eloise's smiling face, Marian's nails accidentally pinched themselves.

The jealousy in her heart spread and burned rapidly all around her, and under her eyes, unconsciously, fell a gloomy and intense hatred. After a while, several people separated.

Eloise took a shower and lay down on the bed.

In Hector's absence, she always felt something was missing and a little uncomfortable.

Turning on his side, facing the side where Hector was sleeping, he closed his eyes, half asleep, and suddenly felt a vague pain in his stomach. Eloise didn't care at first, however the pain in her stomach grew and her lower abdomen sank. Only then did she get anxious, pressing her hand to her stomach and snapping on the light. "Mum, Mum!" Eloise called out loudly, yet the sound that came out was like a mosquito's fly.

Mrs Matriarch's bedroom is some distance away from where they live and is certainly out of earshot.

Eloise gritted her teeth and struggled out of bed to open the door, already in a cold sweat.

"Mrs..." Marian appeared in time, full of surprise.

Eloise was a lifesaver and said urgently, "Marian, get a doctor!"

"Madam, where are you not feeling well, let me help you back to bed for a while."

Marian's eyes flashed and he reached over to help her.

Eloise shivered, her body shrinking so tightly that Marian couldn't get her hands on her for a moment.

"Ma'am, what's wrong with you?"

Marian sounded anxious, as if he was worried beyond belief.

Eloise couldn't answer her question, she was too sore to speak.

Leaning weakly against the wall, his eyes closed, his face as white as paper.

Marian's eyes flashed with delight, but he faked a hug.

"Call an ambulance!"

Eloise slid down the wall, covering her stomach with one hand and tugging at Marian's hand with the other in a death grip. "Well, well, ma'am, you can't sit on the floor, you'll hurt your tummy."

Marian mouthed a promise, but made no move.

Eloise banged her head against the wall one by one in pain, her heart filled with great fear.

She could clearly feel the pain in her abdomen growing stronger, her baby!

"Ma'am, I'm not good at pushing when you move." Marian was busy.

Eloise wondered why she was still here talking nonsense and her lips quirked as she asked in a broken voice, "Did you call 120?" "Right away, right away, I've got to get you into bed first."

"No, call first."

A few words that used up all of Eloise's strength.

Marian nodded repeatedly, "Fine, fine, I'll get the phone then, hold on ma'am, don't move around, lest you hurt yourself."

She stomped off, and Eloise curled up on the floor, a blackness in front of her eyes.

"What's going on here?"

Mrs Matriarch's voice rang out in horror as she heard movement outside and opened the door, only to see Eloise sitting on the floor, curled up in a ball. Mrs Matriarch's voice was out of tune with fright as she hurried over.

Meanwhile, Rupert, Mr Fletcher and the others were all alerted.

"Eloise, Eloise, don't you scare Mum, what's wrong with you?" Mrs Matriarch's face turned pale.

"My sister-in-law is covering her stomach, she seems to have a stomach ache!" Rupert said in a panic.

Mr Fletcher had already pulled out his mobile phone and quickly dialled 120.

Eloise heard someone whispering in her ear, but she was too sore to respond.

There was a sharp pain in the lower abdomen and something seemed to be flowing out.

She looked down, her eyes went black, and with trembling lips, she said in fear, "Blood, I'm bleeding."

Mrs Matriarch and the others also saw underneath Eloise, blood slowly seeping out and soon converging into a bloody mass.

So red, so blinding, it shakes the eyes for a while.

Mrs Matriarch was horrified, she could not have known better what bleeding meant at this time.

"Why, how can it bleed?"

Rupert strides over, bends down and picks Eloise up straight across the room, dropping the words.

"Can't wait for the ambulance, I'll take my sister-in-law to the hospital first."

By the time the words hit the floor, the man had reached the stairway.

At this time, there was no accounting for his behaviour, hating the fact that he could not get Eloise to the hospital immediately.

The Rogers family followed in a hurry and the night was a mess.

The car drove as fast as it could to the hospital and Rupert ran wildly into the hospital with Eloise in his arms, screaming, "Doctor, quick, help my sister-in-law, she's pregnant!" Soon after, Eloise was taken to the emergency room.

Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch followed, and Mrs Matriarch's legs weakened at the sight of the blood on Rupert's body.

Mr Fletcher gave her a hand, his expression also grave.

"What a sin this has created!"

Mrs Matriarch folded her hands and prayed for God's blessing.

Marian, fearing that the Rogers family would blame them, then took a taxi and followed them, not daring to approach, but standing in the corner from a distance.

She looked at the blood dripping all the way into the emergency room, and a glint of pleasure crossed her downcast eyes.

Rupert stared at the closed door of the emergency room, annoyed beyond belief.

His brother had only just left and something happened to his sister-in-law. How would he explain to his brother if the baby could not be saved?

At that moment, the emergency room door opened and the doctor came out.

The Rogers family instantly gathered around, "Doc, how's it going?"

The doctor said as he took off his glove, "It's a crisis situation, with precursors of slippage."

Everyone was stunned and Mrs Matriarch asked incredulously, "How could the baby slip, my daughter-in-law had been fine all day and slept through the night, how could it slip?"

The doctor pushed his glasses, looked at them and solemnly said, "The pregnant woman took the abortifacient by mistake, fortunately the amount was small and it was delivered in time, otherwise ..."

The Rogers family was dumbfounded by the meaningful punch.

Rupert was the first to react and was quick to enquire, "Abortion pills? How could that be, no one in our family would give her abortifacients."

The Rogers family is overjoyed because Eloise is pregnant and is giving Eloise the best of everything, so who would want to harm her?

They were too careless, too happy to be aware of this, much to Rupert's chagrin.

The doctor said, "So it was ingested by mistake. As family members, you should be more careful in general and not let pregnant women eat just anything. It's okay this time, it was so close that the baby could not be saved." After a brief moment of silence, the faces of the Rogers family all paled.

Mrs Matriarch was furious that they almost let Eloise slip on the tyre right under their noses, and nearly lost her temper.

Fortunately, she remembered that this was a hospital and barely managed to suppress her anger and send the doctor away in a nice manner.

"Who on earth could have done this and dared to give my daughter-in-law an abortion right under my nose?" Mrs Matriarch roared in a suppressed voice.

Mr Fletcher grimaced, "Look into it, make sure you do!"

Rupert also looked uncomfortable, but in a good way he had some sense.

Reassured his parents, "Mom and Dad, restrain yourself in front of your sister-in-law later and don't let her worry."
