Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 411: Getting a license to go
"What's wrong? Don't you want to get married to me?"
Seeing that Eloise didn't respond for a long time, Hector's aggravated voice came out.
Eloise had still been in a state of surprise, and when she heard Hector's slightly resentful voice, one couldn't hold back a laugh.
"What the hell... I just didn't react for a second."
"Besides, are there any of you like that, getting a license to get married is such a light way of putting it..."
The thought of becoming his wife, the only woman in his life, was a little unbelievable to Eloise.
"I've wanted this day for a long time, it's not a surprise, I was just afraid you weren't ready to marry me, that's why I've been holding back."
Hector said getting up from the sofa, half kneeling down and saying with deep emotion, "Eloise, will you be my wife?"
"I will, I will, I will!"
Eloise said three times in a row, leaving tears of emotion behind her.
After receiving Eloise's answer, Hector could not resist hugging and kissing her.
His kisses were gentle, like he was tasting a delicacy, tracing the shape of her lips a little, making Eloise feel tingly.
As Eloise responded to his kiss, her mind wandered back to the time when they had met, known and loved each other, and the many trials and tribulations they had gone through to get to where they were today. But it is also this hard-won relationship that makes their love unbreakable, and no one can break it.
The blinds of the president's room were not closed at this time, so the scene inside was very clear and showed to the eyes of the other staff.
It just so happened that it was lunch break and everyone was in the break area when they saw such a blush-inducing scene.
The group of young girls outside cast envious glances, not expecting that the usually so serious Lord President would be so melodramatic. "Our Lord President is really devoted, he has never seen another woman in his office since Sister Eloise arrived."
"Isn't that right, our CEO is really handsome, rich and devoted, he is simply the man of my dreams, Sister Eloise is really lucky." "Alas, only a woman as good as Sister Eloise can be worthy of him."
The chatter of the women around her reached Marian's ears, and seeing the two people in the room making out, she was a little resigned. Why should that woman get his favour, it was clearly her who had been by his side the longest, but why couldn't he choose himself. "Marian, we are planning to go for a get-together after work, do you want to join us?"
A female voice disturbed Marian's thoughts as she was seething with resentment.
Marian looked up and found that the woman was the one who had just been gossiping the most and instantly took her anger out on her. "Fuck off! Leave me alone!"
Marian's attitude was somewhat harsh and genuinely frightened these flowers in the hothouse.
The woman left unhappily, muttering, "If you don't go, you don't go, why are you so aggressive, I didn't provoke you."
If she had known what Marian had done before, she might not have said that.
Eloise snuggled into Hector's arms and glanced out the door and window without realising that there were many eyes staring at the pair. The thought that they had just been kissing made Eloise blush with shame.
Her whole body hid in Hector's arms and whispered, "Why didn't you pull it down ... just now wouldn't everyone else have seen it ..."
Hector looked over in the direction of her finger and found the crowd outside the door, and with a sharp look, the crowd averted their eyes. This would be a bit of a loss if it pissed off their Lord President.
The two of them had a few more moments to mingle before Hector said, "Come on, let's go and get our license now."
Eloise's eyes reddened as she looked at Rupert and said, "Are you sure you won't regret this?"
Hector smiled at that and said, "Idiot if I regretted it I would have let you go a long time ago, besides, we both have Solomon, you wouldn't want Solomon would you?" There was an element of joking in his words, but Eloise was still very touched.
She pondered for a moment before saying, "Okay, let's go and get the license, but you can't back out after that, or I won't let you off the hook."
"As you wish, my wife." He said and made a bowing gesture, which made Eloise laugh a little.
The two of them left the office laughing and talking, and when the assistant saw them, he was happy for them.
But for him, it was the big red envelope that came with the president's wedding that made him happier.
As Hector's assistant, he was naturally entitled to a large share.
The mere thought of it was already a very happy thing, and he couldn't help but feel that the CEO, a bachelor for ten thousand years, was finally wanted.
As if he had thought of something, the assistant told the Rogers family about the news, as it would be good for everyone to know.
"What? My brother and my sister-in-law are getting their license?"
Rupert, who was at the hospital, was shocked to hear the news, his brother hadn't revealed anything about such a big event, he was quite tight lipped.
"Yes, I only just found out this news, it seems that the president's wife had something to do with it and the president decided on the fly, but this news is true, now the two have gone to the marriage registration office." Before the assistant could say anything else, the sound of a busy line came from Rupert's side.
He couldn't help but laugh; perhaps the second prince was anxious to tell his family the news. Inside the marriage registry office, Eloise sat in front of the camera a little overwhelmed.
She had never thought she would be here before, the marriage registry was out of reach for her. Even when she was with Robbie, she never thought that she would one day get married to him. The promises made when she was young were always untrustworthy.
Dressed in her distinctive white shirt, her hair sharply tied back, everything looked so divine. Eloise looks at Hector next to her, who is also nervous, and the smile on his face is slightly stiff.
She couldn't help but laugh and said quietly, "I didn't realise that even Mr Hector, who has been in the field for so long, could be nervous."
Hearing the flirtation in her words, Hector replied with a smile, "It's because you're the one I'm going to spend my life with, and I'm afraid I'm not going to be too serious for this solemn setting."
With that, the two laughed at each other as the photographer captured the scene.
"Okay, look over here, we're about to begin."
The photographer's words fell, and Eloise and Hector hastened to look into the camera, leaving a picture of them where they belonged.
The duo waited for another ten minutes or so at the marriage registry office before they got their exclusive little red book.
