"

still needs you to keep things running smoothly."

The man tapped his aristocratic chin, adopting the air of a gentleman of the house as he instructed his wife in a tone that brooked no argument, "Off you go! But remember to come back tonight. I'm going to be particularly busy these next few days, and the Lippert family Without giving Whitney a chance to refuse, he retreated to the bathroom for a shower.

.." Whitney stood frozen in place, fuming, tempted to ask what good his return did if it only served to tie her down to the Lippert family.

Meanwhile, as soon as Ludwik entered his room, Sammy's small figure blocked the doorway, looking up at him with concern. "Daddy, what are you planning exactly? Aren't you going to tell Mommy about the situation with our sister? Which hospital is she in? Just thinking about her possibly fighting for her life while Mommy doesn't even know she exists breaks my heart. It makes me feel so sad for our sister!"

The little boy, unable to contain his emotions, poured out his feelings, his voice tinged with restrained tears.

Ludwik felt as if his heart was being sliced open, torn by the difficult choice.

He bent down to move Sammy away from the doorway and knelt to take his son's hand firmly. "You haven't seen your sister's condition. You don't know whether her arrival would be a blessing or a curse for your Mommy, and even I am in the dark about it." "What does she look like? Can I visit her? I really want to see her!"

Sammy wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes, determined not to let them fall.

After his shower, Ludwik emerged in a crisply ironed shirt and trousers.

The noise outside the small villa had quieted down.

Ludwik knew Whitney had gone to Delight Mansion to visit Keegan Tennyson.

He signaled to his son that it was time to go.

"I'm going to my room! I've prepared a gift for our sister, and I want to bring it when I meet our beloved sister," Sammy said, lifting a warm smile, his eyes tender yet strong.

Ludwik nodded, opening the bedroom door.

However, as soon as the door opened, a shadow tumbled in, obviously having been eavesdropping and falling in the process!

Looking down, they saw a tousled little head.

Danny scrambled up from the floor, grimacing and clutching his knee, "Ow..."

Ludwik's handsome face darkened, his features tensing, "What were you doing eavesdropping outside?"

"I saw Sammy sneaking in here. What are you two plotting? You've been in here for ages. If I didn't listen in, would you have told me straight up?"

Despite being somewhat correct, Ludwik's expression grew even sterner.

His eldest son, Danny, lacked Sammy's quietly considerate nature and had grown increasingly defiant, especially with Whitney's backing.

Danny, feeling the sting of his father's attitude, stood up defiantly, his cold, piercing gaze scanning his father and Sammy, "What are you guys up to?" "Has Mommy left?"

"Yeah, she has," Danny glanced at his father, then narrowed his eyes suspiciously, "So you're doing something behind Mommy's back, huh!"

"..." Sammy was at a loss for words, his brother's intelligence shining through at the most inconvenient times.

He looked at his father, trying to brush off his brother's inquiry, "Danny, Daddy has some business to attend to, and I can be of some help. So I'm going with him. Why don't you just stay home and play?"

"What business is it that you can help with and I can't? Are you treating me like a useless kid?" Danny sensed that something was amiss.

Especially since his father and Sammy had been whispering secrets for a while now.

About a month ago, he had caught Sammy seeking out their father for a private chat.

They would even sneak out together in the middle of the night, once getting caught by Mom!

Danny had been jealous back then, thinking his father was fostering a bond with Sammy by leaving him out in the cold, though he tried to console himself by remembering he had monopolized his father's attention for three whole years before Sammy, who had only recently been recognized by their father, came into the picture.

But later on, Danny realized things weren't that simple.

After their father's trip to Eurovoria, Sammy and their father maintained secret communications, and Sammy had been visibly upset for days, even crying when their father returned home today! Just now, he overheard Sammy mentioning a visit to someone.

Whoever this person was, Sammy was eager to meet them, which meant they were significant. And they were going without telling Mommy, which definitely meant something fishy was going on! Danny wasn't going to be fooled this time. He decided to follow this through to the end.

Planting his feet firmly, he declared angrily, "Whatever you're doing today, you have to take me with you. I'm part of this family too. Is my intelligence not worthy of being involved in your plans? Dad, I'm your eldest son! I can help too. Don't just rely on Sammy.

So, are you keeping something from Mommy that I should help shoulder?

Who are you going to meet? Don't deny it. I heard everything!"

His indignation clear, he stamped his foot, resolved not to give up.

Ludwik was silent for a moment, taken aback by Danny's anger but also touched as a father.

The little troublemaker he'd protected all these years was also worrying about their family in his own way.

Danny might not be as sharp as Sammy, but he was showing his concern for their family in his unique way.

The boy was sensing something amiss.

"Daddy, can we take brother with us?" Sammy, overwhelmed by Danny's words, looked up at their father with teary eyes, seeking permission.

After all, their sister was as much Danny's sibling as Sammy's, and Danny had every right to know of her arrival in their world.

Even though Danny wasn't known for keeping secrets, revealing everything to him carried a certain risk.

And surely, he would be shocked.

But given the circumstances, with their brother blocking the way, Sammy felt they couldn't proceed with their visit to their sister without letting Danny in on the secret.

"Dad, let's bring our brother along with us. We're a trio, after all. While we have the chance, we should reunite. That's what you've always wanted to see, right?" Sammy's voice was soft, pleading with their father.

A shadow of emotion flickered across Ludwik's eyes, turning them a deeper shade.

His three children, together at last, reuniting with Whitney - that was his greatest wish.

The man's dark eyes softened as he reached for Danny's small hand, his voice gentle, "Let's go!"

"What... what are you talking about?" Danny was utterly confused now, his eyes wide with bewilderment. "What do you mean 'three siblings,' Sammy? We're twins, just the two of us. Where's this third one coming from?"

"Shh!" Sammy frowned, covering his mouth, glancing towards the quaint house below them. "You'll understand everything once we get to the hospital, Danny. You're going to be so happy! We'll talk to dad about it at the hospital, and once we sort everything out, we'll think about how to break the news to mom. We'll make her the happiest mom in the world."
