Chapter 60

Third Person P.O.V

Alpha Gabriel had talked to Asher for half an hour on the phone as he was currently in another city. He wanted to get home as soon as possible so he booked a plane ticket that would depart for his city within half an hour. Leaving the airport, he saw Beta Levi stand up with a big smile welcoming him. "Welcome back Alpha," Beta Levi said as they hugged each other.

"You could have sent the driver, but coming here means that you want to talk to me about something that you could not wait for me to return to the pack for," He told Levi as he took the bag from Alpha Gabriel's hand, they both began walking towards the car. "Your guess is correct. I have come to talk to you about something very important and I could not wait for you to return. Initially I thought that I should ignore this matter but I still wanted to share this information with you so that there would be no issue." Beta Levi replied after Alpha Gabriel had sensed the seriousness in his voice, Alpha Gabriel walked slowly.

"What's the matter?" Alpha Gabriel asked as both of them stopped in front of the car.

"About two days ago, when Julie went to the store to meet Lily, she saw a girl entering the same shop whose face she believes closely resembles Amber," Beta Levi explained.

"What did you say? That girl's appearance was similar to Ambers? How is that possible?" Alpha Gabriel was surprised.

"Like you, I was also surprised when I discovered this. I went to the shop to confirm Julie's story, but when I got there I learned that the girl had quit that job a day earlier. I could neither get her ID or any photo, but according to Julie, that girl was about seventeen or eighteen years old and looked exactly like what Amber used to look in her youth," Beta Levi told Alpha Gabriel. So many thoughts were coming to Alpha Gabriel's mind as soon as he learned this.

"Are you sure that Julie was not mistaken?" Alpha Gabriel tried to confirm.

"Yes Alpha. I believe my mate, that is not the only reason you know why Julie would not make a conjecture about this of all things. No one knew Amber better than Julie," Beta Levi replied and he was correct, as Alpha Gabriel also knew that. Julie would never have made that mistake.

"If Julie is correct, it means that the eighteen year old girl must be the daughter of Amber!" Alpha Gabriel exclaimed as Beta Levi nodded his head.

"We need to find that girl and bring her back to our pack. If we know about her existence and she is in this city, then it means she is in danger because I am sure that our enemy pack also knows about her," Alpha Gabriel advised Beta Levi.

"But the main problem is we do not know where she is. I also learned that she used to be in the same school as our boys, but now the school year is over so I do not know where she is. This is really a big problem if she is Amber's daughter," Beta Levi clarified his dilemma to Alpha Gabriel, who was also furious.

"We need to find that girl no matter what. Immediately mind-link our pack members and order them to search the whole city for that girl. No one comes back to the pack until she has been found. I want her on my pack grounds under any condition," Alpha Gabriel ordered his Bete, as he opened the car door for him when an annoying voice entered his ears.

"Maybe, you are already too late, my old friend," lan's father appeared there as Alpha Gabriel stared back at him.

"Don't call me your friend, Jack. Don't forget that you lost my friendship ten years ago!" Alpha Gabriel roared, expecting Alpha Jack at the airport, but it seemed like he had intentionally come here to poke him as he had no luggage with him and it was like he came here just to taunt him. He had other pack members behind him, but not his brother, Beta Lucas. Beta Levi noticed this straight away. He was looking for sly Beta Lucas. "What do you mean it is too late!" Alpha Gabriel barked, gritting his teeth in anger.

"You want to save that girl and bring her back to your pack, but she never belonged to your pack to begin with. Did you forget that her mother and father had sold that girl to me? She was born to be my son's bride!" Alpha Jack exclaimed and Alpha Gabriel fisted his hands in fury as he listened to this same sentence again after ten years that was like pouring acid in his ears. He ate up the distance between the two of them with an irritated smile.

"You are lucky that we are in a public area otherwise I would be telling you who that girl belongs to! The way you are talking it seems that she really is Amber's daughter. If that girl really is Amber's daughter then she will be a member of my pack no matter what!" Alpha Gabriel announced, beginning to walk away from there, but he heard a maniacal laugh from Alpha Jack.

"Did you forget I told you it is too late!" Alpha Jack reiterated his earlier statement as Alpha Gabriel turned to look at him.

"Do you have any idea who the hell that girl is?" He asked Alpha Gabriel with a sly grin as Gabriel moved closer to him so that would not think that he was intimidated.

"What do you mean? Who the hell is this girl?" Alpha Gabriel questioned.

"She is the mate of your son!" Alpha Jack replied, this revelation was shocking for Alpha Gabriel as Beta Levi's mouth fell wide open, his suspicion had been correct as the girl's names were the same.

"Amber's daughter is the mate of your son who is going to end up with my son!" He jeered with another laugh. The ground tilted from under Alpha Gabriel's feet. He never thought that his son would be so lucky that he would receive a mate who was the daughter of Amber. Alpha Gabriel and Beta Levi both looked at each other and smiled.

"Asher is really lucky to have a mate who is the daughter of Amber," Alpha Gabriel preened as Beta Levi nodded his head with a proud smile. Alpha Gabriel turned his eyes towards Alpha Jack, remembering his earlier comments that he needed to answer. "Whatever s**t you said about my son and his mate, is never going to happen because if she is my son's mate then he would never let her go! If your son crosses his path and even tries to touch his mate then you will be delivered the dead body of your useless son!" Alpha Gabriel confidently claimed. Seeing the confidence of Alpha Gabriel, Alpha Jack's irritation grew like crazy and got up in his face.

"Then why don't you go and see for yourself how my pack is killing them?" Alpha Jack countered, causing Alpha Gabriel's face to blanch. "What do you mean?" Beta Levi asked, he had to interrupt as his son was also with that group. Not only Leo but Lily, David, and Victoria as well.

"lan will become the Alpha today when he snatches Bella from Asher. I told him that Lucas would do it for him, but at the time he decided that he would do it himself proving himself fit for the post of Alpha. He has gone to kill your son, maybe at this moment they are all dead outside the hospital where they are. Not only Asher, but his Beta and his mate will also die. All five kids of your pack will be dead. Why don't you go and gather their dead bodies from in front of the hospital?" Alpha Jack taunted with a victory smile while Alpha Gabriel was trying hard to control his wolf. He just wanted to kill this evil male who had planned to kill those young lives.

Third Person P.O.V

Alpha Gabriel had talked to Asher for half an hour on the phone as he was currently in another city. "Alpha, we need to leave," Beta Levi advised/ Alpha Gabriel understood that he needed to be with the kids right now because they are only five and Lily was human, but lan had brought many people with him. As he was about to sit in the car suddenly Alpha Jack said again.

"Did I forget to tell you something?" Alpha Jack asked, making Alpha Gabriel and Beta Levi turn back to him.

"Right now I learned that my pack has already taken a life," Alpha Jack crowed. His words totally broke Alpha Gabriel and Beta Levi as all six kids were alone and the male had no way of knowing who had died. Alpha Gabriel charged towards his opponent grabbing his collar. His pack members were going to take a step forward, but Beta Levi blocked him.

"Trust me I will really tear you limb from limb in front of the humans if you do not tell me who died!" Alpha Gabriel threatened as his wolf was on the surface, this was the face that Alpha Jack wanted to see.

"Victoria has lost her baby," Alpha Jack replied, this shocking news caused both of their jaws to drop in shock.

"Victoria was pregnant?" Beta Levi asked, surprised, but the most shocking part was that she had lost her baby!

"Yeah she discovered this good news only ten minutes before the attack, not five minutes later she lost her baby," Alpha Jack remarked nonchalantly.

"How can you do this to an unborn baby!!!" Alpha Gabriel shouted about to punch him when an airport police van appeared there and he had to let the collar of Alpha jack go or they were going to notice them. He had no time to deal with the police. "THAT b***h CHEATED ON MY SON AND CHOSE DAVID!! THIS IS THE CONSEQUENCE FOR THAT ACTION. SHE NEEDS TO BEAR THIS FOR BETRAYING MY SON AND SOON ALL OF THEM WILL BE DEAD!!!" Alpha Jack shouted as Alpha Gabriel immediately ran towards his car with Beta Levi following him. They speed off quickly from there. After a few minutes Beta Levi stopped the car near the woods and both jumped out. Changing into their wolves they decided to use their speed which was faster than the car. Bella's P.O.V

"Lucas!!!" I snarled and clenched my palms in anger at seeing his annoying face.

"Do you know Beta Lucas? How?" Asher asked, he must have sensed from the dirty smile of Lucas that was plastered all over his face which was clearly telling him that we had met each other before. He also waved towards me as my eyes turned red. "He is the one who killed my mom," I revealed, gritting my teeth in fury. I felt the same fury rising in Asher's blood at my words.

"It means, your and my enemies are the same," Asher assured, staring at Lucas and lan.

"So what's your plan Bella?" Asher asked me with an evil smirk, I smiled back.

"It's time for revenge!!!" I exclaimed, immediately shifting into my wolf as they all had already turned into their wolves, only Lucas and lan remained in their human forms.

"Lily, go to Victoria, take care of her and yourself. This time please obey me and ." Leo told Lily and she quickly followed his instructions going over to Victoria.

"David," Victoria panicked, holding David's hand as he was about to shift into his wolf.

"Don't even think about it Victoria. You are pregnant with our baby so please take care of our baby and wait for me here with Lily. I will be back and we will go back to the pack to meet the Alpha as well as our other family members," He coaxed, she nodded her head but she was still worried. She was pregnant and could not shift so she could not help him in the fight. Now we needed to protect both Victoria and Lily.

"Oh my God, please don't give me that look Victoria. I know I look cool!" David flirted when she heard him she laughed pushing him a little.

"Just go and come back to me quickly. I want to go back to pack." She rolled her eyes. David kisses her cheek before shifting into his wolf. Lily and Victoria stood in a corner in front of the hospital as the fighting started. Asher was standing beside me because in front of us Lucas and lan were standing in their human form.

"Uncle, I don't want you to hurt my bride more. Some scratches are fine but don't destroy her face. See how beautiful her fur is..." Asher was becoming furious at him because lan was lusting over me. I also frowned when he called me his bride. Why the hell was he calling me his Bride?!

Lucas and lan shifted into their wolves and attacked the two of us. lan's only objective was to kill Asher, on the other hand, it seemed that Lucas did not want to kill me but to capture me alive. But I just wanted to kill him so that I can avenge my mother's death. Both Asher and lan were Alphas in collision with each other, both in physical structure and strength, but I was nothing in comparison to Lucas. But I had learned one thing from Mom: die, but do not be afraid to face evil and as long as this male was alive, he would continue to take the lives of innocent people.

Just like he murdered my mother. As soon as I thought about it, tears flowed out of my eyes as I could see my mom's eyes in my mind. It is good that he is not trying to kill me, it was to my advantage. Asher's eyes were on me. He knew that I was not a well trained wolf like the others. My mom's eyes! My anger doubled as I climbed on top of Lucas puncturing one of his eyes with my claws. He screamed in pain, the peace I felt in my soul as my ears listened to his scream cannot be compared to anything else I had experienced before. This was my first revenge, my revenge won't be complete until I kill him.

Third Person P.O.V

Only five people were present from Asher's pack, but lan had eight of his pack member's with him. Leo and David stood like a shield in front of Victoria and Lily in order to protect them, so that no wolf could get close to them. Leo was fighting two to three wolves simultaneously, while David was doing the same on the opposite side,, but males were constantly being injured. Asher was busy fighting lan while Bella was fighting Lucas next to him. Victoria had mind-linked some Eclipse Moon pack members that were within range and they were on their way to the hospital and would be there in a few minutes away. But in the meantime the battle could very well be lost anyway. That was when Victoria heard David scream out in pain. Lily panicked, putting her hands over her mouth and looked at Victoria's face, which looked terrified. Her wolf eyes had come out and she was going crazy to see what David's condition was.

One of the three wolves had badly injured him, having severely gouged his body. Then one of the three changed into his human form smiling evilly at Victoria.

"You know Victoria, David is dying because you have chosen him instead of Alpha George," He jeered with a laugh.

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HARMING HIM!!!" Victoria screamed, walking towards them but Lily grabbed her hand.

"No, don't go. You are pregnant," Lily reminded, as Victoria fisted her palms. David was not going to survive if she did not do something.

"Hollow threats won't do any good, Victoria! Why don't you come and help David? Oh sorry that's right, I found out that you are pregnant. That poor unborn won't ever be able to meet his father!" He taunted as everyone listened to him.

"Now you have to choose, Victoria. You can choose your husband or your baby," He remarked, kicking David as the other two wolves were going to move in to finish the kill. Victoria charged towards him but the wolf who had been laughing his head was ripped away by Asher. He had taken care of lan and came back to help David. At the same time Bella was also fighting one of the wolves who was on David as Leo pulled the other one away. Victoria thanked the Moon Goddess that they had all come in time or it would have been too late. David got up from the ground still in his wolf form and looked at Victoria.

"Don't tell me you were going to come! Don't you dare! See I am alright" David reassured Victoria and she nodded her head. They were again attacked by Lucas and lan who had regrouped themselves. Lucas was not able to see out of one eye thanks to Bella which made him furious. The fight picked up once again, the situation becoming more grave. Neither lan or Asher were ready to accept defeat even though both were badly injured.

Fighting near them was Leo who was helping Bella per Asher's order. David killed two of the wolves causing a smile to appear on Victoria's face. As David was about to go to others to help, George appeared in the middle of the chaos.

"Oh, it seems like someone needs a partner to fight!" George announced, tearing his clothes off as smiled wickedly at Victoria before shifting. David was ready as he knew he was George's only target. George jumped on David, their fight started with no small amount of blood as David tore a large chunk of his stomach open with his claws. Their anger and hate towards each other was too great. It had become evident that there were no humans in the hospital as no one had noticed that they had shifted. It was a great plan by lan's pack.

"No! George is Alpha, he will harm David!" Victoria exclaimed, Lily heard all of this. That was when Lily heard a growl and looked around. She screamed in fear, grabbing Victoria's hand. A wolf had managed to come up behind them. The wolf jumped on Victoria before she could do anything about it, Victoria had quickly pushed Lily away so that she would not be harmed. Victoria tried to handle herself by pushing the wolf away, but she still fell to the ground, hitting her stomach hard.

Her stomach ached terribly when she landed, but she again stood up from the ground to protect Lily. But she again felt an unbearable pain in her stomach, she shouted loudly holding her abdomen. Hearing the scream of Victoria, everyone looked at her only to find that there was blood leaking from between her thighs. Lily panicked and ran over to Victoria, even knowing that the wolf was about to jump on her too. Lily closed her eyes in fear before Bella leaped at the wolf herself and twisted its throat, breaking its neck. Lily got chills at seeing Bella's wolf form. She was very dangerous when she killed the wolf. Seeing Victoria's condition, not only Bella but all their friends became frantic. Bella immediately went back to the car and came back to Victoria, wearing her dress within 20 seconds.

"Bella,she is bleeding!" Lily crieds, Bella was also panicking.

"Let's take her inside the hospital," Bella advised as they both helped Victoria to get up from the ground, but she was not ready to leave David even though she was in pain. David wanted to reach Victoria, but he was surrounded by too many wolves, it was the same for Asher and Leo. Bella looked back. Victoria needed her help as well as the males. They lacked manpower.

She could not leave any of them, it was a big dilemma. Suddenly Bella and Lily's eyes widened in shock when they both saw two large dangerous wolves coming towards the hospital at full speed like they were ready to tear apart each and every wolf there. It was clear that one of them was an Alpha and the other was his Beta. They both looked so powerful and dominant. Bella panicked, deciding to block their path even though she knew she would not be able to survive if they chose to fight her, but she needed to protect the males as they did not know about their arrival.

"ASHER!!!" Bella shouted at him so that she could make him aware of these two wolves but she noticed that those two wolves jumped into the fight and now the Alpha looking wolf was helping Asher and the other big wolf was helping Leo and David. "What is going on? Who are they and why are they helping?" Lily asked as Bella shook her head. It was surprising to see two unknown wolves helping them.

"That is Alpha...Alpha Gabriel...and Beta Levi." Victoria managed to speak even though she was in so much pain. Bella was happy that Alpha Gabriel had appeared at the right moment, now they could handle the situation. Bella and Lily lay Victoria on a stretcher instantly taking her inside the hospital. When she had entered the hospital before she had not noticed that this hospital was a werewolf one because of this no one was paying attention to the fight that was going on in it's front yard. To top it off it was between two powerful packs of the city so no one wanted to get involved.

"Oh my God, quickly take her inside," A female doctor ordered a nurse looking at Victoria, she had been the one who had examined her earlier. Bella and Lily were standing in front of the room for some time. After a few minutes David entered the hospital wearing his clothes, but his whole body was still covered in blood. It was clear that he had killed each and every wolf in order to clear his path.

"What happened to her? Where is she? Why was she bleeding?" David asked everything all in one breath and was about to enter the room when Bella quickly held him back by his hand with her full strength.

"Calm down! I do not know, but please don't panic!" Bella tried to explain to him but he was going crazy over his mate. It was really hard to make him stay outside of the room. In the end he did not listen and entered the room anyway, what he found was totally heartbreaking for him.

"Sorry you have lost your baby, Victoria," The doctor notified her, just as David entered the room. This was what he heard from the doctor asVictoria was sobbing. Bella and Lily both heard the news from the hallway as everyone's tears flowed freely. Victoria cried harder upon seeing David. He quickly ran toward her pulling her into his arms. With a sad face, the Doctor made her way out of the room. Victoria was sobbing loudly into David's chest as he held her.

"David, our baby..." Victoria started to say but she was crying too badly to speak. David's hands were roaming on her back trying to calm her.

"I could... not... protect our baby..." Victoria stammered, her whole face turning red. David shook his head.

"Don't you dare! Did you hear me?! No need to blame yourself," David comforted her, cupping her face and kissing her cheeks to soothe her.

"It's okay. Now the Moon Goddess has our baby. Our baby is in good hands. Don't you think so?" David wiped her tears away but was unable to hold in his own. Victoria nodded her head while crying, clutching David tightly. He needed her as much as she needed him.. "I love you Victoria, you are enough in my life," David promised, while crying Victoria fainted in his arms.
