Asher's P.O.V

A sly, smug, and big smile came to my handsome face when I saw Bella sleeping in my arms. Yes! This was what I wanted. I never wanted her to leave to go and sleep in the room leaving me alone here like a lost puppy. Yes, I had promised her that I would not share the room with her before our marriage, but I could share the sofa, right? I also could not believe she let me taste her! She was just like an innocent lamb in front of my very hungry wolf!

After all, how can I let my mate sleep without me? She was so sleepy that she could not even continue the movie. I switched off the TV, moving her closer to my body. She just looked worn out between the party and making food for both of us. I just want to kill that servant who did not come to cook for us. Next time I would not let her cook and become so exhausted like that.

I ran my fingers over her lips thinking about her face when I told her about lan. She was hurt and felt betrayed as she had thought of lan as her friend. I used to watch the CCTV camera footage that she used to keep sufficient distance between both of them so that people would not misunderstand, but from his side it had always been more. I think that there was some hidden truth behind his behavior. If I had not arrived at the party at the right time, lan was going to take her away from me. I don't know why but I felt as if I would lose her forever.

As soon as I confessed to everyone that Bella was my mate, everyone had been happy at that time, but he had disappeared with his pack. The way he had proposed to her asking her to accept his love in front of everyone, but his proposal was disrupted by me. After that there should have been a fight between us. Ian and I were enemies. It has been like this not just for the past few days, but for the last ten years as both of us had always studied at the same school and stayed at the same hostel. Both of us have always liked the same things and never gave up, but this time he had given up peacefully, which meant that there was going to be a s**t storm closely following this peace which would be initiated soon. I pulled her into my warm hold, her face was buried in my chest. "No matter what danger is around you, I will always protect you even if it means losing my life. I want you to put your faith in me. I just want your love, Bella," I vowed, closing my eyes to sleep beside my mate for the first time. It was peaceful.

After many hours a strange sound reached my ears as if someone was taking a picture. This was what caused me to shake off the last dregs of sleep as I slowly opened my eyes, Bella still asleep on my side with my arm wrapped around her waist. As soon as I traced the location of that noise both stupid males stood in front of me, seeing them I rolled my eyes.

"You two look so beautiful together. I could not stop myself from just clicking your photos," Leo and David both silently mouthed together, there mates were watching the stupid behavior with a irritated faces.

"f**k you! Go away," I also mouthed back as they just ruined my first morning with Bella. I did not want her to wake up as she was exhausted and needed to sleep, but maybe she also heard the click of photos being taken. "Aaah..." She was startled a little to see both of them stupidly standing there.

"It's ok, it's just Leo and David," I cooed to her and she nodded her head while rubbing her eyes which I had to admit was adorable. I was studying her face, wanting to kiss her badly, but I remembered that both of those jerks were looking at me with narrowed eyes and evil smiles.

"DID YOU NOT HEAR ME?! f**k OFF!!" I shouted at both of them, but they shamelessly took their seats on the other sofas.

"Should we?" They pondered, so I decided to kick them out using my Alpha voice.

"Hey Bella!" Victoria and Lily both called. Bella got up from the sofa going towards them. I just wanted to grab her and give her a kiss before she left me, but I could not.

"Sorry to interrupt you this morning," They apologized to her. Bella just shook her head as she did not seem to mind it.

"Never mind. I'm glad you all came here. Let's go," Bella suggested as all the girls went inside the bedroom, but my eyes were still glued to her every movement.

"She has left, but will come back. You are watching her as if she will disappear from that room," David chided. I saw that Leo agreed with his assessment.

"What are you two bastards doing in my house this early in the morning? It spoiled my good morning with my Luna. I wanted to sleep a little longer with her. It was incredibly difficult to prevent her from entering the bedroom, but it was spoiled by the both of you numb skulls." I growled, expressing my displeasure.

"Well forgive us, we just came to see how you both were. The girls were not ready to come here this morning, but both of us brought them here as we were worried about our Alpha and Luna. I did not know that our Alpha had such a stone heart that he cannot see our dedication," David remarked, starting in with his emotional drama and t*****e as he stood in front of me. But that only had me rolling my eyes as I made him shut his mouth by kicking him in the a*s.

"Stop f*****g with my mind with this s**t this early in the morning," I grumbled at him, they both laughed.

"Well, jokes aside, how was everything between you and Luna last night?" David asked.
